Safe Schools Against Violence in Education

The Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE) Act provides a guidance to school professionals in how to implement effective school safety strategies, how to prevent and intervene in school violence incidents, and how to enhance emergency preparedness. The New York State Education Department is committed to promoting safe learning environments where students and teachers work collaboratively in pursuit of academic excellence and social and emotional growth. The state is also committed to assisting schools by educating them on valuable ways to foster good communication between school staff, students, and law enforcement agencies.

Current SUNY New Paltz Students and Alumni ONLY Registration Deadline: 10/27/16. Food will not be provided for this workshop.

COST: $15 Money Order payable to SUNY New Paltz 900039. Money order must be mailed or delivered to the Mid-Hudson Teacher Center, Old Main Room 223 prior to 10/27/16.
