Steven Cohen's Point72 Asset Management, which is gearing up to open to third-party capital, has lost its chief information officer who had worked for the founder for around 16 years.

Seetharam Gorre joined rival investment firm Citadel, the $27bn hedge fund run by Kenneth Griffin, as a managing director this month, the company confirmed.
