This workshop is designed for general education teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators who are interested in gaining background knowledge about gifted and talented (GT) programming in Iowa. Topics covered will include Iowa Code requirements for GT programs, characteristics of gifted students, and best practices and resources for educators, including an overview of the new MTSS Advanced Learner Facilitation Guide.
