In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory is listening to a song by Coolio it was the first song i learned start to finish. Then came any work from Biggie. Dr.Dre made me want to create music after a VH1 special i saw about him as a kid. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, All Eyez On Me 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' (Bonus Track Version) The Notorious B.I.G., Life After Death (2014 Remaster) All 3 of these are bodies of work that solidified my love for rap music, and showed me how major albums should be structured. I was a fan if Biggie years before Pac because of his wordplay. Pac helped me learn energy, and 50 taught consistency. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Me Not” This song is special because it was my first time working with a producer i grew u listening to, and dreamed of working with one day. The collaboration happened organically, and i still enjoy sharing this song to new listers. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my career is the first time i traveled to a new country and seen people embrace my music that are from other cultures. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To work with more of the people that influenced me in some compacity.
