Aesop's Fables is a collection of fables written by Aesop, a Greek slave and storyteller lived in the fifth century BC.?


The characters of fables are usually animals who act and talk just like people, but retaining their animal traits : tortoise are slow, hares are quick, tigers eat bird, etc. ?Aesop uses these qualities of animals to illustrate human traits and wisdom. Each fable has an accompanying moral to be learned.
