SWE-UCLA Professional Mentorship Program - Student Signup

The goal is to match mentors with industry experience with students and help the students prepare for a professional career. Students are matched with mentors with the most similar majors or career interests.

The mentor will:
* Meet/talk over phone/video call with 1-5 students for a ~1 hour/month during the school year
* Provide a safe place for the student to ask questions related to their major and career path choices
* Increase student's exposure to the work related to their major or chosen career path

The mentor is not expected to:
* Provide job or internship opportunities to the student
* Provide technical assistance to the student's schoolwork or projects

We will review applications and notify students as to whether we were able to match you with a mentor as soon as possible.

If you participate, you are expected to show up for all meetings, ask questions, actively participate in the discussion, and communicate in advance to reschedule should any unavoidable conflicts arise.
