Dalmatian mom gives birth to a whopping 18 puppies

A Dalmatian known as Miley is giving '101 Dalmatians' a run for their money. While Miley didn't give birth to as many puppies as the Disney classic, she did set a new world record for the largest Dalmatian litter in Australia. A whopping 18 spotted pups were brought into the world on May 18th. The new mom is busy taking care of her healthy and sweet mini-mes with the help of Miley's breeder Cecilia Langton-Bunker and a lovely little girl named Lulu.

According to the Herald Sun Miley made it through a lengthy 13-hour labor to bring her little ones into the world. The average Dalmatian litter is around 8 or 10 which left Cecilia quiet surprised when Miley continued to deliver 8 more puppies.

Cecilia credits the happy and healthy litter to Miley's dedication to her offspring.

While Miley's above average pregnancy was the first of its kind in Australia another over-achieving mom in the UK gave birth to 18 dalmatians in 2009.
