Riverside Bar & Pizzeria

The family has a cabin outside of Iron River. Been coming to Riverside Bar for pizza every time we're up in the UP....
The pizza is really good. It's got a sweet sauce and I love the thinner crust. But it's basic bar pizza. There's definitely nothing fancy about it.
But I think that's also kind of the best part about it. They just kept it simple and it pays off!

I've been coming to riverside for almost 30 years and my parents have been coming for nearly 70. It's one of my favorite family traditions to come to riverside. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had. It's something in their special sauce that makes it like no other. It's always a packed house so be prepared to wait especially if there are a lot of carry out orders but I can guarantee you it's worth the wait every time.

Great place very friendly staff. Pizza was so good and was cut in almost bite size pieces. Will definitely go back again.

I absolutely love Riverside Pizza! Their crispy thin crust is a delight, and the way they cut their pizza into little square bites is not only unique but makes every bite satisfying. My go-to is the pepperoni and pepperoncinis, and they never disappoint - super cheesy and full of flavor! The atmosphere is fantastic with the lion and Parker gear decor, and it's always impeccably clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Whenever I'm up north, Riverside Pizza is a must-visit for me. It's a real gem!

The pizza is so good that we drove all the way from Rhinelander to come here for dinner. The sauce, in particular, is fantastic. If you plan to visit Iron River, plan to eat here.

I absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff and great food to satisfy my munchies lol. Inside it's cozy and homey feeling. I can't wait to go back!

P.S. if you're a green smoker I'd recommend smoking by your car.

Decided to try Riverside tonight after driving by it for so many months. It's a comfy little place that has a lot of room inside. The staff was super friendly and kind. They helped us right away and make sure we were well taken care of. At first, we were a little surprised by the menu because it only had pizza options, wings and footlong dogs. We were kind of expecting like cheesy bread sticks or some type of garlic bread that goes with pizza or maybe even a salad bar? But the options for pizza and the pizza itself did not disappoint. The pizza is loaded with toppings and there are a lot of toppings to choose from as well! And it's cut into perfect bite size pieces! It looked funny at first but then we loved how it was cut. This place is definitely worth a try!

I've been a customer for 60 years. Locals told me that the pizza had declined, but I had to check. Our sausage pizza and undercooked crust (doughy) although our waitperson said I was
Wrong. Sauce was tasteless and very little sausage.
I hope the new owner can right this ship.

This Saturday night's large pizza is the second one I've ordered and eaten there in the last six months of 2023. Neither one would come close to what I consider the best or really good pizza. This last one had the majority of melted cheese in the center 75 percent of the pizza, so much less near the edges. Very oily cheese. Fresh mushrooms tasted canned. Our waitress really didn't have anything to say about the Limited distribution of cheese except" "So how was the pizza?"

Been coming here for 35 years. Love that it hasn't changed a bit in that time. Same decor and same great pizza. Great staff.
