Not to be confused with the excellent line of premium 1/6 figures of the same name, this is a gift I've been putting together for a little while as a birthday gift for my brother.

Even before all the parts for this project were in hand, it started with the box... A pine two wine bottle box.

After some some sanding, painting, more painting, more sanding, scuffing, painting, sanding, varnishing, painting, sanding, painting, sanding, polishing and buffing, it's transformed into this...

Aging, distressing, grunge-ing a perfectly good pair of jeans - these are from Triad Toys, and while the fit is suitable for up to a Hot Toys muscle body, the fabric and finish/details aren't as good as a smaller (but unknown) pair I have. The velcro on the fly is terrible and doesn't hold well at all. Had to make due however.

These guys came from a pair of 1/6 SWAT-type guys I purchased at Costco some 8-10 years ago or so. Scuffed and weathered a bit to better match the rest of the set.

Weathering applied to toolbox from ZCWO's Mens/Hommes 004 collection.

Ok, the pictures are now up... Unfortunately the head sculpt intended for this project hasn't yet arrived from Hong Kong and I'm having to make due with a temporary substitute from an old "toy" I had kicking around. It's not as impactful as the Dwayne Johnson Headplay sculpt I'm waiting for, but I don't think I can hold off giving this gift beyond this weekend.

Everyone loved it, but more importantly my brother did. And as luck would have it, the intended head sculpt arrived yesterday and is now on the figure. Additional photos should be taken tomorrow, with any luck I'll clear some space for my tripod and set the figure up against the concrete walls and pipes of my bat cave. I promised my brother I'd only hold onto the figure for no more than 48 hours to attach the new head and get some photos done. ;)

That's really neat. :lol

Is your brother in construction or something?

Thanks! Yes, my brother is a contractor with his own business.

Where are the new pics?

Got too busy today with a few other things, including hard-wiring the DX07 antenna accessory. Fingers crossed new images coming up before the end of the weekend, as tomorrow looks like it might be pretty busy too. :slap

Made some time for the freaks. Here are some photos with the updated head sculpt. The photos could have been better as I just realized I had left the camera set to ISO 800 from some past work.

Believe me, it's already on the todo list. ;) It's one of the reasons I told my brother I wanted to keep it a few more days.
