Doesn't it make more sense to agree upon a price per share to sale, instead of a time? Piswasser is only at $12 a share and has a high of $151... And its price has been skyrocketing but because everyone is going to sale it is going to plummet.

 

No, because the goal of this is NOT to make the max amount of money, but to find out if single-player investments influence the BAWSAQ stocks in any way.

 

Aww. Ok, well once we figure out if we actually have influence then will we do it this way? lol. I'm really glad I found this thread a week ago, because when I finished the game I didn't have enough money to buy everything (didn't think about saving the assassination missions till the end. Now, after probably one more of these pay outs I'll be good.

I had that problem earlier but then remembered my console was connected to the internet. Try disconnecting then restarting your console.

5:40 pm. 10 minutes.

I just sold the lot. Franklin had the most to invest so he scored a cool mil. Trevor is at 586K and Mike is at 823K. I spent the most time with Franklin making some cash and investing. It was worth it. Another nine million to go and then I own a Z-Type.

Now if everyone sells and I hope they do it will be very interesting to see the stock plummet. And if they happens then we know.

I also think that Ammunation has tanked because people have learned to rob the place for fun and nothing else. Probably come back up again when folks are bored with that.

The next thing I'd like to do is bomb the crap out of something with the community that will affect the market. This was interesting enough in single player. The online world will have white collar criminals.

That should be interesting.

To allow social club to update, save again after selling your shares. Then reload this savegame and save again. Repeat this until your social club portfolio updates.

If our theory is correct, this will help to ensure that the stock market updates according to our actions in the sell-off.

DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BACKUP SAVE WITH THE INVESTMENT!!! RESULTS COULD BE AFFECTED!!!

It is possible for you to both participate in the planned sell-off and keep hold of your shares to sell them at a later date if it turns out that our theory is incorrect and prices do continue to rise. If you want to hold on past the sell-off, simply do the following:

1.) Create a backup save with your Pisswasser investment.
2.) Go through with the original planned sell-off and make another save.

3.) If it turns out that we don't change anything from singleplayer and prices continue to rise, then you can wait until a time of your choosing and simply reload your backup save to sell your shares and maximize your profit.

So I don't get why you want us to save and save and save the game with each character. I sold my shares for all 3, nice profit, saved the game and will just continue on playing.....time for some assassination missions with Lester

Save your current file (Lets call it 'A') on a separate slot to (that would be 'B'). The sell everything on 'A'. If you continue making a profit, that will be on 'B'.

Sold mine. Made a little more than 24 mil after putting 21 mil in two days ago.

It's not unreasonable. Mine was around 277%. Turned 52mil into 200+mill. I didn't invest as early as I could have, stock was about 3.29 for me.

Hahaha, did "sell all" with Michael and I still have over 2 million shares left out of the roughly 80 million I had. Same for Trevor. Franklin "only" has 600.000 left even though he had close to 90 million shares. I'm going to leave these shares there for now.

And having invested roughly 1.3 billion across all three characters about 48 hours ago having a return rate of 116% isn't that bad.
