I've always been a bit of a picky chooser when it comes to mascara, I tend to choose brands that don't offer me what I really, really want! This mascara does not disappoint, it separates my lashes and gives me dramatic length. The way it works best for me is applying one coat and letting it dry and building on top of that. The feel is lightweight and the color is beautiful. I definitely recommend this mascara if your lashes are lacking length and color, you'll be truly happy with the lasting power of Revlon's Super Length Mascara! I am generally very picky about the mascaras. This one, by far, is one of my favorite and here is why:

When it says it is "lengthening" it really is lengthening.
Separates each lash, which at the end makes the lashes look very full, but not all clumped up together (almost like if you had your lashes professionally done).
Doesn't clump. Applies really smoothly. 2-nd, and 3-rd layers go on without extra hassle.
And finally, it stays put.

Love this product but it's hard to get! Especially the tube design. Very easy for arthritic hands to open!

Why can't I find it in stores any more?

My Favorite Mascara

I received the Revlon Super Length Mascara in the color 101 Blackest Black free from Crowdtap. The brush head is a nice big brush with a tapered end to get tiny lashes. It applies very easily to upper and lower lashes. The formula isn't too wet nor dry. I didn't have clumps and my lashes didn't stick together. It gave them a longer soft more natural look. It is buildable, but if you build it past 2 maybe three layers it will get clumpy then. I actually like it so much I purchased all the other formulas in this line of mascaras too.  This is one of my new faves though. Especially for a more natural look kind of makeup day. I would purchase this again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Super wet when you first start using it. After a few uses though, the product starts to dry in the tube -- this is not a bad thing though! I find that mascaras that are too wet make it messier when applying. So once you've let the product age a bit, it does the job. Definitely gives length. I'm currently growing my lashes out after having lash extensions on, so this mascara has done a great job of creating a fuller, longer look throughout this process. The color is a deep black, which I personally like. I'm interested in trying this product in a water-proof version, as waterproof formulas tend to raise the lashes a bit more to give a widened, open eye. I tried this mascara and found it has a smooth application - but it smudged a bit on application. It took me a few layers go get a thick look - but even then it wasn't dramatic as Revlon claims you will get a Mega Lash look. I have tried better mascaras than this product.

I used to use Revlon Lash Potion. Loved it. Couldn't find it anymore so I bought this. Everytime I put it on I felt like something was repeatedly poking my eye and burning. I later found out the bristles from the wand were falling off and everytime I put on the mascara they were getting in my eye. Please use caution if you buy this product. Look at the wand carefully, that could cause some serious damage to your eye!

I wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing. I was so excited to try this "super length" mascara. But putting it on... there was virtually no difference in my lashes. I was expecting super length! I got pretty much nothing, like there's nothing in the tube. I won't be buying this again. Maybe I can return it?...
