Welcome to the Northern Combine Volunteer Nomination Form.
PLEASE NOTE: 2016 Season Vol Duties
We are trialing making Entry Stewards a host club responsibility on race day.
This trial was proposed after significant extra work was required due to volunteer shortages during the 2015 Season.
The focus of the vol roster will now be race critical roles such as corner marshals, lead/follow cars and finish line assistants.
About the process:

1) First: See which Duties are available so you can find something that suits you by checking the view-only spreadsheet of the required roles by event (

2) Apply for a Volunteer Duty using this form (ie fill out the form below).
3) Await Confirmation of your duty by the Volunteer Co-Ordinator (you will receive an email at a later date confirming your allocated role)
4) Once confirmed, you can assume you are locked in. Please take your commitment seriously (and note that the vast majority of volunteers do take it seriously and do a great job).
Please note that riders can claim Volunteer Status from the moment they nominate for a Volunteer Duty (i.e. No need to wait for a Confirmed role). If for some reason a suitable duty cannot be found, riders must relinquish their Volunteer Status.
About your Responsibilities:

* Number One: If you do not show up for your Volunteer Duty, you potentially jeopardise the Northern Combine's ability to run the race. Please don't be the person that forces a race to be cancelled.
* If you cannot fulfil the volunteer role that you have committed to, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Your club mates, family or friends may be able to help you with this.
* You need to notify the Volunteer Co-Ordinator of any change VIA THE CHANGE REQUEST FORM (
http://goo.gl/gqtafB), especially if a substitute person is to perform the duty.

* Volunteer Duties and the associated benefits are only available to members of Northern Combine affiliated clubs.
* Volunteering for the 3 Day Tour is recognised by the Northern Combine and Combine affiliated club members volunteering for the 3DT can claim Volunteer status across all races in the Northern Combine season.
* Non-Combine club members can volunteer at the 3DT to obtain priority entry to the 3DT only (ie Non-Combine club members cannot claim volunteer status to other NC races outside of the 3DT)
