If you are getting a taxi to the venue please get dropped off at the PowerLeague.

Venue specific information: The venue has the right to cancel due to weather conditions e.g. waterlogged pitches and snow, so please keep an eye on the regional Facebook groups and keep looking for updated information concerning the event. The venue have asked that players keep off the cricket squares.

The TD desk will be based in the Tea Room in the pavilion. Drinking water will be available from the outside taps and there are outside toilets.

The changing rooms that we have access too over the weekend will be clearly marked, please only use these. There are other people using the venue over the weekend so please make sure that you double check which changing rooms you have access to.

Should you need shelter during the event the Pavilion  will be open. Please take boots off before entering and leave them in the porch area.  Boots are left at the owners own risk.

There are other parties using the venue over the weekend so please be considerate and aware of your surroundings especially when throwing.

Spectators - please remind any of your spectators to be aware of their surroundings.

Arrival: Please report to the TD desk, which will be in the Pavilion based in the tea room, on arrival to receive any new instructions or any changes to this information. There will not be a separate captain’s meeting, but every team should make sure that a representative checks in on arrival. If you don’t, don’t blame us when you don’t know what’s going on!

Times:  Games will run from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, and from 9am to 5pm on Sunday.

Paper and Printing

We DON’T intend to print out schedules and copies of this pack for every team. Please make sure you bring your own (or ensure you can access it through your phone) if you need a copy. There will be a large up to date copy at the TD desk throughout the weekend of course.

Food and Drink

There is not a café on site. The nearest shop is along Clifton Lane. We suggest that you stock up on food before you come to the venue.

Water will be available inside the Pavilion.

Please do not leave your litter lying around. No one wants to pick up your discarded banana skin at the end of the day.

Accommodation and Friday Night Meeting Point

Teams will be contacted if they have requested accommodation. We can not guarantee that there will be showers available in your accommodation so please shower at the venue.

Spirit of the game

Spirit scores will be entered through an online form, which can be found here:

https://goo.gl/SuugpA

You should be able to access the form on your smartphone (or one of your team-mates’ phones – some models seem to struggle more than others) and facilities may be available at the TD desk to input your scores if you can’t get it to work. Please note though that we do not have power at this site, so we would very much appreciate it if you could try a few team-mates’ phones before running down the TD’s batteries…

Make sure that you enter your scores before midnight on Sunday 3rd March otherwise they WILL NOT be counted. This is following changes to the Spirit of the Game at UKU Events by the SotG Committee. Please also note the other changes as outlined by the committee in the announcement linked above.

Although please note that the SOTG award may be given out at the end of play on the Sunday so ideally please enter your scores ASAP as otherwise the winner on the Monday may not be the team that was given the award!

Medical

First aid will be provided by first aid staff which will be situated in the physio room in the pavilion. Ice will be available from the TD desk. IF YOU REQUIRE FIRST AID OVER THE WEEKEND PLEASE COME TO THE TD DESK.

For serious incidents, the nearest hospital is:

Queen’s Medical Centre, Derby Road, Nottingham (NG7 2UH)        0115 924 9924

Or call 999 for an ambulance.
