Just Say No!

It is time to restate your opposition to unwanted businesses in the community.  We are facing the prospect of three more liquor stores and one gas station in the Greater Hidden Hills community.  In all cases, the applicants have asked for a special land use permit to operate. Our overlay code put that restriction in place, so we have time to fight the requests.  

Please sign this petition stating your opposition to more gas stations, liquor stores, alcohol outlets, auto parts stores, and dollar stores in our community.

The petition states your opposition to:

• A proposed liquor store at Publix Shopping Center,  2079 S. Hairston Road, Suite E
• A gas station and liquor outlet at the old tire shop at 4736 Redan Road, Stone Mountain. Does this look familiar? It is! A similar application was filed last year, and the applicant withdrew after our effective protests.
• A liquor store at 1026 Holcombe Road, Decatur.
