Get “Hands On” at the Willowbrook Plant Open Day

The latest Willowbrook Plant Open Days event takes place this Friday and Saturday 29^th and 30^th March at their purpose-built facility at the Rockingham Motor Speedway venue in Corby.

Visitors to the event will be able to view and test drive a wide variety of machines from the Willowbrook portfolio of products including machines from leading brands like Hyundai, Takeuchi, Mecalac and Merlo.

The company will be demonstrating 3 models from the Hyundai range, the HX130LCR, the HX140L and the HX220L all of which will be available to test drive on the dedicated demo area behind the premises.

For the fans of the “Red & Grey” Takeuchi will be well represented with models ranging from the TB210R micro, up to the popular 9 tonne class TB290. Also on display will be the TB215R, TB225 and TB260 models.

Also making an appearance will be the eagerly awaited and stylish Mecalac 6MDX Cabbed Dumper. Fully enclosed cabbed dumpers are a really hot topic at the moment, finally bringing site dumpers into the 21^st century. This example brings a touch of French flair with it too, make sure you check it out!

There will also be another chance for visitors to take part in “Tone’s Cone’s” operator challenge. There are prizes to be won for any operator who can manoeuvre a football on and off the cones in the fastest time using a Takeuchi TB290.

The Open Day takes place on Friday 29th March between 9 AM – 4 PM and on Saturday 30th March 9 AM and 1 PM. Willowbrook Plant are located at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby, NN17 5AF. Food and drinks will be served which will include a delicious BBQ. Have a fantastic day, I’m so jealous that I cannot make it!
