The rest of the NBA played themselves
They're gonna beat us all. Quick, rebuild! Rebuild for the future!
just build lol
Warriors league and they’re all living in it
That one woman really needs to understand how crowd chants work
"Let's go Rockets!" "LASSS GO RAKEETTTS" "Let's go Rockets!" "LAKDUWIKEB RACKEETSSSS"
Drunk lady: DEFENSE, DEFENSE KD hits a three Drunk lady: DEFEN...Aww
She's louder than the commentators what the fuck.
I think she's trying to stand out instead of fit in.
Ughh.. stop that - lejron bames
She chants loudly after the crowd does lmao why
You see to her shes actually chanting before the crowd, shes a maestro you might say. Without her leadership the place would be crickets. She truly is the hero we do not deserve.
Just one game, but how demoralizing would it be for the entire league if the Warriors sweep?
I think Portland would welcome it

If we get swept I think I'm done watching basketball for a while
Eric Gordon went 6-13, yet it felt like he went 2-20.
Completely agree. Need an explanation why it felt like that.
Probably because he was awful the whole first half. I dunno if he made a shot until the third.
Celtics and Cavs should just play a friendly 3 more games, then combine forces and pick a best 15 roster with Brad as the coach so we have something mildly entertaining to watch in June
So Celtics plus Lebron.
With Brad as the coach, Love would probably become useful again.
Wasn't this whole sub just in love with him like 3 days ago.
I'd still take Golden State in 7
what if everyone was healthy?
The Celtaliers trot out a lineup of Horford, Hayward, Irving, Love, and LeBron.
Yea no, im taking the Warriors in 7 as well.
All that for a drop of blood
Mr. D'antoni, I don't feel so good....
This is where MDA failed. Half the defense and twice the offense is not balanced.
The Warriors are perfectly balanced. As all things should be.
Durant - Thanos
Klay - Squidward
It's simple calculus
Perfectly balanced, as all wins should be.
This really was demoralizing to watch. Harden tried so hard and played so well but it wasn’t nearly good enough.
RIP Chester Bennington
I laughed, then I cried. Have an upvote. Also, check out Shinoda's new stuff.
Are you saying he tried so hard? Maybe even got so far? But in the end it didn't even matter?
I hope they remember you
snaps fingers
14,000,605 possible futures and the Rockets lose them all
sometimes i look at mike d'antoni and swear i see a mustache
then look again and he definitely doesn't have a mustache
or does he? i don't know what to believe anymore
stanley hudson ?
Every team are the Raptors when the Warriors are in town
Breaks my heart. Makes me laugh. Bravo.
Chuck just said "Man, your big ol head tastes good" pause
“ I get paid handsomely “ - Klay Thompson , Inside the NBA 2018
"We compete for championships, year in, year out"
Rockets 1st Q: This next verse though
2nd: This next verse??
3rd: THESE BARS??
4th: poopity-scoop
Warriors all game: that instrumental. Apparently.
That instrumental gives me hope that underneath all the theatrics there's still that vintage Ye
Ye is still one of the Goat producers
Never doubt Kanye's music. He would give you a million reasons not to believe in him but that dude really knows how to put an album together.
This is the post-game analysis we need.
A+
Lmao
I'm not gonna be able to sleep tonight...not because the Warriors won..
But the god damned "lEtS gO rOcKeTs" monotone, loud as shit, off sync ass chant that I had to hear throughout the 4th is now permanently ingrained in my head
I'm also convinced that it was her whistling also loud as shit every time GS shot free throws. And holy shit that scream at the end?! Worse courtside fan than Kevin Hart
It might not be likely but it's very possible that the same lady sits in the seat again game 2.
Yeah I'm worried that whenever I close my eyes from now on that's all I'm going to hear
What in the fuck happened to Eric Gordon?
On the radio in the bay area they were talking about chinese nicknames for players. Everyone had an X Mamba name since kobe was so big. Eric Gordon was round face mamba for his circular face shape. They even call him Pi mamba. A perfect 3.14
Krispy Kremes happened
Nothing like some deep fried kremes
Body switch with Varejao
I blame LRMBAM more. He played terribly
Imagine being the 1st seed and working so hard in the regular season to get home court and then proceed to lose it in 48 mins.
Houston I feel you...
Warriors going the Lebron route. Why try 82 games for home court when you can get it in 48 minutes?
Warriors to Cleveland confirmed
And they’ll still lose to GSW
How funny would it be if LeBron joins the Warriors
The NBA becomes the Globetrotters
I’m a Rockets fan but that be hilarious
LeBron drive and kick, except instead of Hill, Hood, Smith bricking shots, it's Curry, Klay, and KD
LeBron would literally get 20 assists per game.
You either let Lebron score every drive or cover all the shooters.
Lose/Lose.
It's like watching Vegeta train so hard but knowing that Goku is the main character and will always be the one to win in the end.
Tfw you unlock super blue just before goku masters Ultra Instinct and makes you look like shit
You know the official name is Evolved! Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Blue Evolved
2 tru 😕 he gets deep in Bulma's guts tho.
When he was training in space and blowing up astroids, that was badass
“I wanna...I wanna be a Super Saiyan! I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna!!!” -The legendary Vegeta
smh my boy Vegeta deserves better
this must be why the Raptors kept saying they felt like the Rockets of the East
"Let's go Rocke--"
"LLEEEeeeeeTTTS GOooooO ROCKEEEeeeeeeTTTS!!!!!"
The best part is that she was never chanting with the rest of the crowd. Always on the off beat.
That lady was fuckin annoying..
I blame that lady for our home crowd issues
GOD that was annoying. Like.... Move the mic please
Like at least say it with the crowd. She was shrieking in silent moments.
fitting that the nba celebrates the day gambling is legalized by having scott foster and tony brothers be the officials for this game
Lmao! My local homer radio station was talking about this this morning
Rachel Nichols on ESPN: "Houston spent the last year getting ready for this moment...ripped up their playbook...had guys working this summer on their outside shots...just to reach this moment and finally beat GSW and Durant...and he laughed at them with 7 fadeaway jumpers in the second half."
No one is prepared for the Warriors. At this point I'd be cool if 12 all-stars took a pay cut and joined forces on another team for a year.
THE HOUSTON ROCKETS, CLEVELAND CAVALIERS, AND BOSTON CELTICS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FROM CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENTION
r/NBA: "Finally, a competitive series against the Warriors!"
Third quarter Warriors:
r/nba two offseasons ago: "This isn't even fun, obviously the Warriors are just going to dominate. What's the point?"
warriors fans: "WOW WHAT A WEAK ATTITUDE. Anything can happen!"
warriors proceed to destroy everyone
r/nba last offseason: "This isn't even fun, obviously the Warriors are just going to dominate. What's the point?"
warriors fans: "WOW WHAT A WEAK ATTITUDE. Anything can happen!"
warriors proceed to destroy everyone
Totally looking forward to having this conversation again in a month.
Melo might opt out and form a superteam. Stay Positive!
The rest of the NBA played themselves
If OKC just 4-1'd them this wouldn't have happened
Or if they didn't trade Harden
I was having a good night
3 words. Twenty eight million
Lebron should go to the warriors so they can scrimmage themselves for the Finals
Draft lottery tomorrow, draft is June 21st, award show on June 25th and free agency starts July 1st. Was a fun season.
we're on to the Draft Lottery
See ya next year
More like 3-5 years
It's times like these where I have to ask "Why the fuck did KD have to join a 73 win team?"
It turns out having two former MVPs, a consistent DPOY candidate, and one of the most explosive spot up shooters of all time on one team is pretty good. Who woulda thought.
The time to ask that question is always
okay yeah fair I just get especially salty around this time of year because all year people are like things will b different this year Rockets are awesome and it's true the Rockets are awesome but the Warriors are broken. Rockets would wreck whoever comes out of the East but they won't even get to do that because I don't think the Warriors are losing more than 2 games the rest of the playoffs.
You nailed it. It really feels like people are in denial when they try say that the Warriors may actually lose. Are the Rockets the best competition these Warriors have faced? Sure. But that still doesn't matter when you're the GOAT team
James Harden loves to dribble. Clint Capella has long arms. Kevin Durant is tall.
astute observation
Didn't realize how much the rockets run iso.

Was actually miserable to watch. Those shot clock violations where harden and cp3 dribble for 20 seconds and then try to do something were disgusting.

r/nba at the beginning of the game: This is gonna be an amazing series!
r/nba now: Fucking KD ruined the league. Fuck the Warriors.
I think a lot of people were just hoping for an element of competitiveness and uncertainty that makes the nba exciting and fun to watch. When the 2nd best team in the league gets beat by double digits at home all that hope and optimism turns into anger.
Lol Rockets fans booing Klay after his TNT interview

The east is doomed lol
Lmao so is the west
David West will be fine
Jerry West seems in good health
It will be a quick and painless series
The league is doomed. No chance for anyone else and it kinda sucks
Just gotta build a super team even more stacked than the Warriors.
Build battles, Roster Fortnite.
It is honestly ridiculous how broken KD makes the Warriors. 37 points...
The last time Golden State lost a series, they were up 3-1 and then Harrison Barnes went 5/3/0.7/0.7/0.7 on .153/.200/.500 shooting splits over the last 3 games of the series.
They're legitimately unbeatable in a 7 game series with Durant.
Wow, I knew HB was struggling then, but dang
I kept saying if he'd just hit ONE of those open 3's, the Cavs were toast
Harrison Barnes ruined the NBA.
Kinda crazy that it's not hyperbole to say that at all.
HB hits literally just one of those and the Cavs dont win the chip.
I've never seen Harry B's splits written out like that... I love the guy... But Jesus.
kinda impressive he stacked those 0.7s
Comment deleted by user
But did you know despite averaging this statline, Harrison Barnes never had a game where he put up .7 .7 .7
Yeah I knew he had a terrible final 3 games but... yikes
He isn't even flashy. Just hits his shots, plays defense. He has been such a consistent force for Warrios
Yeah that's what a 9 loss team from the year before needed, consistency
I thought this game was in Houston???
Klay took 15 3 point attempts. Dude doesn't give a fuck.
Anyone hear the guy yelling “Steph Curry’s a role player”? LOL
Reminds me of the Tom Brady is a system QB crowd
Comment deleted by user
Warriors need to sign Westbrook if we're going to have any chance this series
Lmao
https://i.imgur.com/0YfPhwc.gifv
Klay was saucing tonight
Hold this L while I kiss the sphincter
I can’t hate the warriors fully because I love Klay
He's the center of a lot of memes.
Chocolate milk, weed, toaster, gold, etc.
I love him
Don’t forget China
And 6 pt foulout.
Too many to count lmao
Curry with 18/8/6/2 on over 50% shooting. And thats a bad night

And by Defensive Liability, we mean a guy who will at least give his all on defense and has good instincts, just doesn't have the body to be a top defender in the league. He's above average at his position on D, just happens to be on the court with All NBA level defenders.
As well as being switched onto two of the best offensive guards in the game in this series.
Curry always gets to guard the other teams best player. And that's cause that player is trying to avoid any and all of Curry's teammates.
How are you even supposed to beat this team lol
Watching a D’Antoni team get their defense picked apart by a team with great ball movement gave me PTSD flashbacks
Now this puts a smile on my face.
Draymond wasn't lying when he said they don't give a damn about no 1 seed
Call me petty but I love watching 2 ex OKC superstars battle it out in the conference finals. Shit makes my dick hard.
You need a Supersonics flair
Box score really masks how awful CP3 was tonight.
GG Warriors. I think we can still get at least 1 but the better team definitely won tonight.
Ahhhh...nothing like a playoff game to reignite the Warrior hate
I just wanted someone to T-Bag dunk the woman Rockets fan yelling "LET'SSSSSS. GO. ROCKETSSSSS" behind the announcers' table
Sounded like she was trying to say it while getting t bag dunked.
It be close, until it don't. story of playing Golden State
Now imagine this team, but with Steph playing too
Steph really didn't play that bad.. 18 points, 8 assists, 6 reb, 1 TO, 8/15 fg.
Steph played below average for Steph.
This game is one example of how fucking good Steph really is. I don't really remember him taking a three, because I think he felt out it wasn't that kind of game. He knows when it's someone else's night, and makes it happen. Still had over 50% shooting and made plenty of sweet layups.

Steph played good. People just act like if he’s not scoring he’s doing nothing
He never stopped fighting even though he was getting abused all game on Defense. I was so happy when he got that steal

Also he took the Rockets out in the 4th. He made like all the Warriors points in the last 3 minutes.
I mean this in the most honest and earnest way possible: Klay Thompson has his priorities in order. It's truly refreshing.
Yeah Klay has been on the warriors since the start. It would be stupid to watch your team grow into this and then leave for 5-10m more a year
KD can win with these cats
KD was a supernova. Didn't matter who was guarding him, he was making shots forwards, backwards, and sideways.
KD played normally
Slim Reaper at it agin
I would like to congratulate the Golden State Warriors on their 2018 championship. Someone please voodoo Stern's corpse weekend at Bernie's style to fix this shit.
r/nba before the game: This is going to be a great and thrilling WCF series
r/nba after the game: Fuck the Warriors
Must be nice to have 2 All-Stars on the floor at all times.
The Warriors third option on offense is one of the best shooters of all time. The third option.
It's great that when one MVP/hall of famer has an off game, you can just pass the ball to the other MVP/hall of famer
and then to the real mvp* andre iguadala
*finals edition
Goddamn Klay is exciting to watch when he gets hot. His run in the second half was awesome
Being from Houston, I’ll never forget the day the storm came. You turn on the TV, and the meteorologist says there’s a disturbance by the coast, you think nothing of it, it’s Houston you’ve lived through these before, almost always a false alarm.
But then it’s not, suddenly you’re on the couch and feel a drop hit your neck. You look outside, there’s a bit of drizzle coming down on the arid yard, you close the window, you think nothing of it.
Fast forward an hour, now there’s heavy rain, the rain is pooling up on the street, the sewers can hold it, the rain is getting stronger.
20 minutes later, you’re concerned, the pool is overflowing, the winds are blowing the water sideways, you step outside, you’re not sure how the water is falling. It’s like Forrest Gump in Nam where the water falls upwards, and downwards and sidewards and Squidwards.
Suddenly, you hear a noise, water rushes under your front door. Aw fuck get the towels, but it’s no use.
Now you know you’re fucked, your wife wades through the ankle high water and says you need to evacuate. You’re stubborn, you say it’ll retreat.
Five minutes later, you get up for another beer and the water hits your belly button.
Five more and it’s at your nipples. Your kid is swimming around the living room and the dog is on top of the fridge.
Fine you relent, you force open the door and swim up the street. You stop, and knock at the door of Joel Osteen’s Church, but it’s locked.
You wait out the storm on a concrete slab outside his church until the storm passes, watching the city drown.
You probably think I’m speaking about Hurricane Harvey last year, but I was out of town on business that week.
Klay Thompson’s jumper was just that wet tonight.
Art
A friendly reminder to everyone that the Warriors will probably win the next 3 titles :)
As I posted after game 4 between the Pelicans and Warriors, Durant is an unfair advantage that no team can gameplan for.
It is truly unfair what an advantage Durant provide for the Warriors.
Back in 2015 and 2016, you knew that if Curry or Thompson were struggling that you could slow down Golden State and have an opporunity to win the game.
The Cavs in the 2015 and 2016 Finals as well as the Thunders in the WCF provided a solid blueprint in neutralizing the Warriors' offense.
However, these days, it doesn't matter if Curry or Thompson are not playing well. Durant had the ability to easily get you 40 points a game and keep the Warriors afloat by himself.
You might win a game just by outplaying the Warriors but over a 7 game series, Durant is just too big of an advantage for the other teams to counter.
The main problem is the Thunder’s blueprint for beating the Warriors was KD.
the last infinity stone
KD is fucking Aomine. Scores buckets as needed at a ridiculous efficiency. Just makes tough fades no one can guard and gets to the rim easy.
Anyone else notice how there were pretty much no wide open corner 3's for Houston? Ariza and Tucker usually get like 5 of those a game. Awesome job baiting Harden into jumping into the air to pass and then flying back to the passing lanes. The one corner shot they tried late got blocked by Draymond.
ISO ball against a locked in GS defense is not going to cut it.
