When not being pulled in every direction possible with the normal tasks of life, he enjoys working in the woodshop as well as breeding and raising tropical fish. He didn’t find his love for reading until meeting his wife, however now it is rare to find him without a book in hand. While he had no intention to start writing until a friend challenged him to do so, he quickly found that he was hooked and couldn’t wait to get his first book done and start on the second.
Admitting that there is a time an e-reader comes in handy, he still prefers to hold the real thing when reading. While in the past he only read fantasy and dystopian for the most part, after getting to know several indie authors at a local signing he attended with his wife, he is now open to giving all genres a shot.

In K. Aybara's debut book, Breathless Night, the author takes his readers on steamy sensual romantic tale. What started off as a good deed helping a stranger with a flat tire on the side of the road, leads up to them getting engaged. In this book, it chronicles the tale of Luke and Cailyn as they navigate their relationship. I might say this book started off very sexy and descriptive in those steamy moments but as the storyline progressed there were times I wished the author took time to discuss more of their past and dating life. For me, I didn't really connect with the characters as much as I would have liked. But overall, this book was a quick and easy read as two individuals try to discover how far they want to take their hidden lust and desires?

When Cailyn meets Luke, she is not impressed. Yes, he was helping her with a flat tire, but he creeped her out. While he's not really a creep, he was a guy who liked to love 'em and leave 'em. After these two meet and end up dating he realizes how opposite they are and what a great thing he has going for him. Cailyn is innocent and determined to remain a virgin until her wedding day. Will she be able to remain that determined or will desire interfere?
This is a book with steam pouring off the pages from the get-go. It's not just hot sex, however, the characters are easy to connect to and has a story line that keeps you interested throughout the whole book. It is a must read!

This is a brand new author and let me just say I absolutely loved his work. The Author made you feel like you were part of the story and I adored his characters. When you read this you won't want to put it down! Not only was this book HOT it also made you cry, laugh, tugged at your heart strings and left you wanting more. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

What a great start for a first time author! Although, I will agree with others...it was a tad bit confusing at the beginning of the book. There was a lack of character development. I found myself having to go back and reread parts just to figure out where I was going in this book. Was it a book that I could not finish, NO. Will I buy the next in this series, YES. I really think that as this author grows and continues to write, will be a great author. Not to mention, the sex scenes are FANTASTIC!!! As with the title of the book, it is just that a Breathless Night... Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the next one K Aybara! <3

I was graciously given an ARC to read in exchange for my honest review.
Being a new release author, this book was brilliantly written, the cover is amazing, and the book was just too hard to put down. I cannot wait for the next in the series and more from this author!

You will need to sit on a towel to read this book!! And it starts in Chapter1!!!
Cailyn, though a virgin, is not so naive when it comes to sex. Her friends keep her informed of all the positions and how-to's just fine with graphics and fruit, and anything else to give her the schooling she will need for her wedding night. She even has noticed lately she is a little tigress in the bed when she begins to have dreams of her own. And soon she will find out just how good she is when she consummates her marriage with her night in shinning armor, or as it began, a creepy bum in a rust bucket.
The owner of the creepy rust bucket, and now soon-to-be married to Cailyn is Luke. He didn't have a great of a childhood as Cailyn, but that is why he is the man he is today. He was a serviceman, and now holds a job everyday as well as owns his own place. His bad boy image has tried to creep into their relationship a few times, but he is turning over a new leaf and is waiting for Cailyn, as she wishes to wait for their wedding night. Waiting can be hard when you're used to having it though. He has his ways, but is it enough?
Can the two of them wait for their wedding night? Or will curiosity and experience be too much for them? Will their friends be too much of an influence on them??
This book will tug at your heart strings from beginning to end. I gave this book 5 stars because I love a book that can relate in real life,the characters have a good personality base and the story line is amazing. This book touched on all three of these and that's why I love it!!

When Cailyn gets unwanted help from a stranger during a flat tire incident, she had no clue that the creepy guy that day could clean up so well. Her father, wanting to thank him properly, invited him over. When she laid eyes on him it was love at "second" sight.
Cailyn has heard Luke had a wild side and she wants to experience that. Luke knows how wild and kinky he used to be and doesn't want to scare Cailyn. Can they let each other know that they want more?
This is a spicy read, but with a heartwarming storyline to it. I loved the interaction between all of the characters and I can't wait to also read about some of the sub-characters in this book! I need a Rhylie story!

I loved this book. I thought it flowed quite nicely. I only wished I had had time to finish it sooner. I always base me liking a book on if I want to read on about the rest of the persons life in the book and this book I did. It is definitely sex oriented and threw in some curves that I never expected to read. I highly enjoyed this and cannot read what the Author has in store for their next book. I encourage you to check the book out.

It was great!!! I really liked that it wasn't all pure sex. The two big sexual parts being split up by their story was a fantastic idea. The hints of it in the middle just keeps you wanting to see how they will finally live out their desires for each other. It has the right amount of pure carnal sexual desire and romantic love making mixed together. Can not wait for the next one to come out!

This is a debut book from an author I have gotten to know for the course of a couple years. I got the book and had to put it on the back burner because …LIFE but after sitting down and reading it I liked the quick read.
Caitlyn could be any of my friends. Screwed because she had a flat and needs help changing it. Leery of the dude who helps her out, as any rational woman would be, she is not to impressed by him one bit. Caitlyn is not even remotely interested in Luke but that seems to make him even more interested in her. Virgin + not gonna happen = Luke needs more Caitlyn time!!
When he is invited over for dinner, Caitlyn sees Luke a little differently and the couple begin to have a lot of hot and steamy sex. They stop and then start with the sex again…LOL…get my drift? There is a lot of sex in the story and it fits perfectly in the Erotica genre.
I will say I wish there was a bit more to the story BUT its erotica. I was a bit confused initially with the story but if you stick with it and enjoy the sexy time the story comes *snickers* full circle and you will enjoy the story of the couple.

Breathless Night is a hot and steamy quick read that left my husband wanting to shake K. Aybara’s hand in thanks. After reading the first few sex scenes, I was definitely in need of a smoke and sham-wow. Luke and Cailyn’s romantic interlude doesn’t exactly start off the conventional way. When a man could still be interested in a woman after being pepper-sprayed while trying to be a good Samaritan, you’d think he’d run for the hills. But, Luke isn’t that kind of guy. Cailyn is just the kind of girl he needs and wants in his life. While the romantic backstory is brief, you do get a sense of why they’ve worked so well together. But, like in all romance stories, there’s only one catch. Cailyn is and wants to remain a virgin until she’s married. Cue the dramatic music and sexual tension! When you have a man like Luke in your life, it will take a chastity belt with a missing key to keep her from breaking her vow.
K. Aybara rocked this debut novel. Trust me, good erotica is hard to pull off and this one was amazing. If you ever need a pick me up or inspiration of sorts for the bedroom, toss out the Karma Sutra and pick up Breathless Nights. You and your spouse won’t be disappointed.

This book had us a bit confused after the first 2 it then goes into a massive breathless night of hot sex and I mean sex after sex after sex which is great love a book like that with heaps of sex scenes and there were pretty well written too.
Then we jump again to a few years down the track and then we go through a day and then the book ends, this book would have been so much better if there was more detail about who they were their pasts how the hooked up properly, I just wasn't feeling connected to the characters they were very polite in their conversations which some parts left us thinking do people still say stuff like that, we also felt some of the conversation pieces were long, for example Luke would reply to a comment and we felt the replies were too long. Maybe if they were shortened and more about the past etc. could have been introduced.

I'm not sure how I felt about this book. I liked some parts and dislike others. When I began reading this book, it started off with one amazing sex scene after another. Those scenes were hot, and well written. The book itself was a bit lacking in plot. No real connection with our main characters. It was a bit confusing at first the way it was jumping around, and the POV changed not only with the main characters but with a few side characters. Which was pointless and therefore you lost your connection and focus on the main characters. Overall, this was an ok book, I wished for more story. I loved all the heat and I felt the end of the book was rushed. After spending so much time building up to the honeymoon, then it just fall flat.

This one wasn't too bad. I was a little confused in the beginning, but then it worked itself out after a bit. There really wasn't any back story of Luke and Cailyn's relationship, it was just she had a flat tire, he helped her, then boom...3 chapters of just wall to wall sexy times (which was a dream) then the wedding between them. Obviously there's more to it, but that's the gist of it. I thought the ending just kind of stopped but I guess it picks up in the second book. I'll give the next book a go, Luke and Cailyn are pretty good characters.

Without giving away story, just know that this is thinly veiled porn... 2 chapters of backstory then porn for 10.... a little more story.. then more porn.. Granted it's well written porn, but still the same. There's a few typos and this and that in the book, along with being visual and expressive. I'd have enjoyed a bit more story and less sex, but 'that's like my opinion man'. However, if this is what you were looking for, you've found it.

This book is not for the faint at heart. It will make you laugh, make you cry and cause you to seek the affection of your partner for a quick romp! Luke plays a knight in shining armor, rescuing Cailyn and working his way into her heart and her pants. Before they met, he was a player. Cailyn may have tamed Luke, but he taught her taught her his wild ways..... and she loved it.
