Last weekend’s win over Wolfsburg came at a good time for fifth-placed Leverkusen. It was only their second win in their last five Bundesliga games and it ensured they didn’t fall any further away in the race to be runners-up to Bayern Munich.

However, Leverkusen’s form at home leaves a lot to be desired. They have won just four of their last ten games at the BayArena, suffering successive defeats to Hertha and Schalke in their last two games at home.
