Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus

  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus spears and garlic; cover and cook until asparagus is tender-crisp, about 5 to 10 minutes depending on thickness of asparagus.

  3. If you like your asparagus well done, reduce heat and cook for an additional few minutes.
