Dr. Amr Talaat, the Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met with Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, to explore fresh opportunities for collaboration. Discussion focused on areas of artificial intelligence (AI), international digital infrastructure, and the establishment of an AI center in Egypt designed to benefit the African continent. Both parties confirmed the collaborative efforts to transform Egypt into a global AI epicenter serving all African nations. Recognizing Egypt as the strategic selection for hosting the center - a decision backed by Italy during its G7 presidency - there is a clear accordance of the role Egypt’s accumulated expertise in AI over the years will play in this ambitious project. The establishment of the center is proposed to take place within this year, marking a quantum leap in the region’s digital capabilities. #Africa #AI #Italy #Egypt

Spinneys, owned by the Albwardy family, plans to sell a 25% stake in its Spinneys 1961 Holdings. This IPO is a unique opportunity, as it would be the only second offering by a family holding in the UAE. The previous listing was of Al Ansari Financial Services.
