10 Students Who Make a Difference

This is the second year Upstate Parent has sought nominations for top fifth-grade students in Greenville, Spartanburg and Pickens counties. We asked school administrators and faculty to let us know about their best and brightest. Some of the students here excel at academics, but that wasn't the only criteria.

Exceptional study habits, outstanding classroom performance, dedication to hobbies and extracurricular activities — these students reflect a commitment to achieving above and beyond the basics. They strive to make a difference in the world around them.
