The wife of Colin Firth has admitted having an affair with an Italian man she has accused of stalking her.
Livia Giuggioli, 48, an Italian film producer who has been married to the Oscar-winning actor since 1997, prompted a police investigation in Italy when she accused a journalist of harassing her with a “frightening” campaign of messages.
Marco Brancaccia, 55, denied the accusation of stalking, telling The Times that Ms Giuggioli had invented the claims to cover up the affair they had had between 2015 and 2016.
