Fall Spirit Spark Retreat
Nov. 6-8 at La Foret

The Fall Spirit Spark Jr/Sr-High Retreat is right around the corner, and you can register here!

From Friday, Nov. 6 to Sunday, Nov. 8, campers in grades 6-12 will explore faith, love, global/local issues, and so much more. They'll also be able to forge deeper connections with peers from their home church, as we are encouraging youth leaders from each RMC church to sign up and bring their youth along. Those who attend will create lifelong friendships--we guarantee it.

Mission Partner Grants

The 2015 Mission Partner Application is live!

Each year, the Mission Team of the Rocky Mountain Conference awards grants to numerous organizations within the Conference. These grants are made possible by each church's donation to Our Church's Wider Ministry (OCWM) fund, and range in size from $200 to $5,000. Mission Partners often have a connection to the RMC, but other organizations in CO, WY, and UT can apply.

The deadline for application is Oct. 17, 2015. Read more about these grants and submission guidelines here.

Upcoming Installations

While there is always much activity abuzz in the Rocky Mountain Conference, one of the things that is most exciting is when we are able to connect a new pastor with a church.

We are thrilled to be a part of several upcoming installations, the soonest of which include:

The UCC Disabilities Ministries and the UCC Mental Health Network is hosting the 5th national Widening the Welcome Conference September 24-26, 2015, in Hartford, CT.

The Western Association Annual Meeting will be held in Montrose on October 2, and will be co-hosted by Hillcrest Congregational UCC and Community Spirit UCC.

The Metro Denver Association will hold its Annual Meeting at Park Hill UCC on Sunday, October 4.

The Platte Valley Annual Meeting will be held October 10 at Douglas Congregational Church UCC.

The Southeastern Association Annual Fall Meeting is scheduled for October 17 at the Congregational Church of Manitou Springs.

The Intermountain Association Annual Meeting will be held October 24 at Holladay UCC.

The Second-Annual Association Leaders Retreat will be held October 29-31 at La Foret. To learn more about the Retreat or to find out how you can attend, please email Rev. Tamara Boynton.
