Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ajay Maken on Wednesday announced that the party will hold Jan Sadans or public meetings on demonetisation in each of the 280 blocks in the national capital on December 13 and 14.
The party chief stated that the demonetisation drive has “brought down the production of small scale industries by 20 per cent and sales of small shopkeepers have slumped to 10 to 12 per cent, leading to severe unemployment”.

He added that the reckless implementation of demonetisation has created reverse migration in the informal sector.
He said two meetings each will be held in every assembly constituency on December 13 and 14 as the “faulty” implementation of the demonetisation drive has put poor people to tremendous trouble. “The rich are benefiting from the trouble of the poor as the demonetisation drive is on a huge scale,” he said.
