North and South Korea want to co-host the 2032 Olympics

South and North Korea want to co-host the 2032 Summer Olympics, leaders of the rival nations announced Wednesday.

President Trump called the potential Korean hosting “very exciting.”

The Olympic games have previously been to the Korean peninsula, all in the South.

The Winter Games were held earlier this year in Pyeongchang and the 1988 Summer Olympics were in Seoul.

Tokyo will play host to the Summer Games next year, followed by Paris in 2024 and Los Angeles in 2028.

Indonesia has already announced it’ll bid for the 2032 games, while Germany and India have also expressed interest in the Olympics.
