"I LOVE So and So. They're one of my favorite couples. I could read about them forever! It doesn't matter if it's an entire book of them grocery shopping and making dinner...I'd buy it and read it"
...while they may have both been busy these past few months, weeks, and days, never had their attraction subsided. Never had their love.
"...how about you turn around and remind yourself what our bed looks like?
Because you're about to become intimately reacquainted with it when I fuck you in it all night."
"You're always here when I need you the most."
"Where else would I be? You're where my heart is. So that's where I stay."
"You're stuck with me forever."
"Forever's a long time."
"What? Worried you couldn't put up with me that long?"
"No. I'm worried it won't be long enough."
I love you so damn much. I can’t believe there was ever a time when I didn’t.”
You’re always here when I need you the most.”
Logan let his hand fall away so he could take hold of Tate’s, and once their fingers were entwined, he brought them to his lips, kissed them, and said, “Where else would I be? You’re where my heart is. So that’s where I stay.”

“My tradition was always about family, and you, Logan, are my family. So if we want to go to Cole and Rachel’s or visit with my father or, hell,” he said, and nipped at Logan’s lower lip, “if we want to stay in bed naked all day on a Sunday, I don’t care. As long as you’re there. That’s my new tradition and the one that’s most important to me.”~Tate

“Never. You’re stuck with me forever.”
As the lamplight played over Tate’s features, Logan enjoyed the sheer pleasure of looking at him. The dark eyes, thick lashes, and kissable lips. “Forever’s a long time.”
“What? Worried you couldn’t put up with me for that long?” Tate chuckled.
“No,” Logan said, and his serious tone must’ve caught Tate’s attention, because he sobered instantly. “I’m worried it won’t be long enough.”
Tate raised his head, he whispered, “Thank you.” Logan narrowed his eyes, and Tate said, “You’re always here when I need you the most.”

“Welcome back.”
Robbie cocked his head to the side. “Excuse me?”
“I said, welcome back. That’s the Robbie I remember. The one full of sass. The one blatantly undressing me with his eyes.”
“Hey, you’re the one who brought it up.”
Logan glanced down to Robbie’s lap and chuckled. “So I did.”
Robbie’s mouth parted as though he were in shock, and then…then he started laughing and the sound was, well, wonderful.
Then, right before he drifted off, Tate heard Logan whisper, “I love you so damn much. I can’t believe there was ever a time when I didn’t.”
“What? Worried you couldn’t put up with me for that long?” Tate chuckled.
“No,” Logan said, and his serious tone must’ve caught Tate’s attention, because he sobered instantly. “I’m worried it won’t be long enough.”
And wasn’t that the truth. Something had changed in him over the last few months. Made him realize how special the man beside him really was. It wasn’t as though he could possibly love Tate any more than he already did. But maybe it’s a different layer? One that comes after years of being together? Logan thought. Or maybe it’s just because he looks perfect sitting there staring at me like he can’t imagine a day without me. Yeah, that’s probably it.
There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t try with Tate, nothing he wouldn’t do to please him, and while that may seem crazy under normal circumstances, the absolute need and compatibility they shared was so in tune with one another’s desires that Logan never once questioned it. He merely accepted it as part of who they were.
“Tate,” Logan said, wanting his attention, and when he had it, he asked softly, “You doing okay?”
“Yeah. I’m fine.”
“Fine, huh?” Logan said as he crossed the kitchen and placed a hand on his chest. “You don’t have to pretend right now. It’s just me.”
