Tease - verb: to tantalize especially by arousing desire or curiosity often without intending to satisfy it....unless your name is Tate Morrison.

It’s been four years since Logan Mitchell walked into Tate’s life and irrevocably changed it. Four years since the sexy as sin lawyer dared him to try, and four years since Tate won his love.

Now, as they approach the next chapter of their lives Logan is determined they won’t end up like many of their friends. Settled. Domestic. Boring. However, that’s easier said than done. With busy careers and working odd hours, finding time for one another is becoming increasingly difficult.

But that sh*t isn’t going to fly with Logan or Tate.

The two of them are determined to compromise to get what it is they want, and what they want is each other.

Tease is the sexy, tantalizing continuation of the two men who stole your heart...and popped your cherry.

Alright Romancelandia - It's time to take a poll.

Raise your hand if you've ever said a sentence similar to the one below:

"I LOVE So and So. They're one of my favorite couples. I could read about them forever! It doesn't matter if it's an entire book of them grocery shopping and making dinner...I'd buy it and read it"

My answer:

Image result for raising hand gif

I can't even count how many times I've said that about my favorite couples.

Well, I'm here to tell you that this book....it's exactly that. It's 25 chapters of Logan and Tate living their life.

We have a brief speed bump in the beginning of them complaining about not having enough time together because they're both so busy with work (Tate is working long hours at the bar, and Logan has spent months gearing up for a trial on a very important case)...but that's resolved within the first few chapters of the book.

...while they may have both been busy these past few months, weeks, and days, never had their attraction subsided. Never had their love.

After that...it's just pages and pages of Logan and Tate living their life. There really is NO PLOT. They're just loving each other and having seriously hot sex. Page after page. Chapter after chapter.

"...how about you turn around and remind yourself what our bed looks like?
Because you're about to become intimately reacquainted with it when I fuck you in it all night."

We get glimpses of familiar faces...especially Cole, Rachel, and their cute as hell family. We also have a subplot involving Robbie - the flamboyant barista from the previous books - (not sure if it's there to add something to the story so it's not all Logan & Tate or if it's to set up a future book?). And we get the beginnings of what's looking to be tying up some loose ends with Tate's family.

And we get lots of sex. Did I mention that already? Yes....well it should be mentioned again....because there's a lot of it. If Logan and Tate aren't having sex, they're thinking about sex, or talking about sex, or adjusting themselves, or licking their lips, or running their fingers along each other's faces, or kissing...you get my point.

There's also a lot of swoon here. The commitment, love and passion that these two have....it'll melt your heart...going into this book just expect to transform into a complete puddle of goo.

"You're always here when I need you the most."

"Where else would I be? You're where my heart is. So that's where I stay."

Image result for swoon gif

See? Serious heart flutter. Oh no? That didn't do it for you. Let me give you another one.

"You're stuck with me forever."

"Forever's a long time."

"What? Worried you couldn't put up with me that long?"

"No. I'm worried it won't be long enough."

ROMANCE READER DOWN.....SOMEONE GET THE PADDLES!!

Image result for swoon gif

Now that I've been resuscitated, I do have a couple of issues.

1. I'm not sure what's left here for TWO more books. Yes, there's still more to do with Tate's family...but not two books worth. Not unless some drama is drummed up....and I seriously hope that's not the case!

2. It looks like Ella Frank is going in a direction with Tate and Logan that she said she'd never go in. She's repeated the same answer on social media every time a reader asked her if Tate and Logan will get married. And now it looks like she's going back on that.

I completely understand that an author has every right to change their mind and take their characters in whatever direction their heart desires...but I really liked that Logan and Tate didn't need your typical heteronormative HEA. It fit them.

I wouldn't have as much of a problem with this if Ella Frank didn't repeatedly say that she didn't believe marriage was necessary for Tate and Logan. If she had always left it open ended (a simple "we'll see" or "not right now, but you never know"), then I would have zero issues....but now it feels like she's caving to the pressure of her readers who really want this (and let's be honest here...her readers are predominately straight women who mainly read mainstream M/M).

To put it bluntly, I feel like she's selling out. Writing books is a business, I get that. And like I said, this is the author's work, she can do whatever she likes....doesn't mean I have to support it or buy it.

And since the rest of the books are out, and I've had them spoiled for me, I can now say I've made the right decision in stopping with this book. If I continued, it would cast a cloud over my love for the first three books in this series.

And for those that want to say that Logan and Tate have grown...I'm going to respectfully disagree. What it feels like is that they've been contorted to fit a mold that was forced on them. Basically, it feels like they've gone from two very special characters to an author's cash cow.

Image result for cash cow gif

But then again, that's just my two cents and I'm in the minority, so feel free to ignore.

So, there you have it. A favorite couple is back...and they're happy and more in love than ever. And when you pick up this book...that's exactly what you'll be cocooned in...Tate and Logan, their passion, their love, and their continued HEA.

I know I was nearly at the finish line as I've heard this finishes at 95% but I really wasn't interested in going on.
No real story to speak of.
Lots and lots and lots and lots of long, drawn out sex scenes that I ended up skimming.
My love affair with Tate and Logan is officially over.

I love you so damn much. I can’t believe there was ever a time when I didn’t.”

Mother.
Effing.
Swoon.

This couple! I can't even form words right now. I fell hard for both these men Try and I haven't looked back. I loved being a part of their journey and couldn't get enough of them. But I also have a confession to make. When I find out they'll be getting more books? I wasn't so excited. Now now, before you start throwing tomatoes, allow me to explain. See, I'm what you'd call an ADD reader. I'll be reading along just fine and then...
SQUIRREL!

Yeah. That. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm not a reader that enjoys trilogies or long standing series about the same couple because I find myself getting bored or losing my steam and enthusiasm about the characters after a while. If I feel like they got their HFN or HEA, I'm good with it. I want to move on to something else. And since we got a satisfying HEA for Tate and Logan in Trust, I moved on. I was terrified that we'd get some drama thrown into the mix that will totally kill their HEA for me in this book, but you know what? I couldn't be more wrong and I'll gladly eat a slice of crow as I write this review.

Tease takes place four years after Trust. Logan and Tate are as happy together as they were but life is always getting in the middle. Between both of their successful careers, they find they don't have as much time for each other and Logan is determined to fix that.
You’re always here when I need you the most.”
Logan let his hand fall away so he could take hold of Tate’s, and once their fingers were entwined, he brought them to his lips, kissed them, and said, “Where else would I be? You’re where my heart is. So that’s where I stay.”

Have you found yourself wondering about a few of the loose ends after Trust? I know I have. I wanted more from Tate's family and to truly get some closure on that side. I love the route that Ella Frank chose to take in this book in getting the reader just that. It isn't perfectly wrapped in a bow for you but it's real, and it was touching, and I absolutely loved it.

As for the rest? I loved catching up with my boys. They're just as sizzling together as they were in the last books, only they're more swoony now because there's nothing taking away from their love for each other.

So why not a higher rating? While I loved getting to catch up with the boys and the rest of the gang; Rachel, Cole, and a surprising appearance from someone else (who I'm hoping will be getting a book), it just wasn't enough to keep me glued to the pages. I found myself skimming some of the sex scenes, as hot as they were, hoping for a little more meat to the story (no pun intended). The story began to get overshadowed a bit by the (crazy hot) sex scenes, and while I'm actually ashamed of myself for complaining about this, I can't help the way I feel. I appreciated that there was no crazy drama or conflict to take away from anything. It was simply a look into one of my favorite couples and what happens after the HEA. It gave the reader a chance to catch up with the boys and to see where their lives are now four years later. This book was very appropriately titled, because it's exactly what it was. A tease. A tease of a peek into Tate and Logan's life and what's to come.

Boy, was I nervous when I heard there was not only going to be another book in this series, but a few more. I think all the fans of this series and these men were excited that we were getting more Tate and Logan, but we were all also very nervous about where Ella was going to go with the story. Then there was a lot of different ratings popping up on my feed and that made me even more hesitant to read this. There was even a few Dnf's! That scared the crap outta me and so I put it off a bit more. Than I finally said enough! Read the damn book and make up your own mind. Plus, it's Logan and Tate. You know you're gonna read it. lol So I did and I am happy to be on the list of the ones who enjoyed it.
I know a lot of people had problems with how much sex was in the book over how much story there was. But I think some forgot this is Logan and Tate. In every book there has been a lot of sex. These men are sex. They are the epitome of what sex is. Their foreplay lasts for pages. They literally have to have their hands on each other no matter where they are or who is around. The boys want it and need it all the time. Who could blame them with how they are both described. (; Would I have liked more actual story than sex? Um, YES! I mean you gotta have a story and while there was some other things going on in between all the sex, it wasn't enough. You need more story Ella. We know these guys can sex it up and be hotter than hell, but we need more substance. I do at least. I think I just expected more than what I got. But I still loved it.
I think this book was just a bit of an introduction of what is to come in the next books and I am excited for them. I loved getting to see where Tate and Logan both are now and seeing how successful Tate's bar ended up being. And I loved the name of his bar. It was just so fitting. I loved that we got to connect and see how Cole and Rachel are doing. Their little girl and boy were adorable and I couldn't help but swoon at how cute Logan and Tate were with them.
I think after reading this we are all expecting a book about Robbie and Priest. I can't wait for that one.

I'm happy one of my favorite couples is back and I can't wait to read what's next for them. Hopefully the future books will have more story and just the right amount of steam.

Happy reading dolls! xx

IT'S LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!
*****5 STARS!!*****

4 years later...
Omggggggg how I've missed these two men. I mean, they will always be one of my favorite couples in ALL of the romance genres, but revisiting them again after all this time was the best gift EVER!! I read EVERY word, no skimming because WHO WOULD DO THAT?! Like seriously, if you don't soak up every word of this book, I question your sanity because hello, it's Logan and Tate!
We started this journey with Logan and Tate four years ago, when they first crossed paths and broke through barriers to start a beautiful journey together, I also joined on this journey with them as a reader. So it's kind of crazy that Tease takes place literally four years after the first book was released.

With both Logan and Tate's careers at their peak, they're feeling pulled too much in the wrong direction. Realizing how hard it is to make their relationship a priority, they make strides to rectify this immediately! It's hilarious how after all this time that Logan is still surprised at the fact that Tate knows him so well, like he's shocked that he's still in a committed relationship. His insecurities still linger just below the surface and Tate handles him SO well. They really are perfect for each other, like when bossy Tate comes out it makes Logan crazy(in the best way!) and I just ADORE how balanced they make each other!

Omg can this woman write a sex scene or what?! Talk about the best slow burning, sensual, sexy as hell, hot and bothered thing you will read between two people! The pure carnal desire that these two have for each other is like some sublime force that will never die and never get old. Never. Ever. Tate with his silky curls and Logan and his smart mouth, and their sexy banter filled with sexual innuendos and puns. NEVER. GETS. OLD.

All of the characters you know and love are back, along with some we don't love so much, and some newbies too! We get to really see who they are today and how they've grown and evolved, and how that intertwines with Logan and Tate's life present day. One of these moments was extremely emotional for me and that just proves what the power of a fictional story can do for a very real life, I was surprisingly moved by a certain scene and I found it to be very therapeutic for me personally. And I think with this book specifically, that will happen for a lot of readers for several different reasons. That's why I love books so much, because reconnecting with these characters feels just like coming home.

When Ella Frank announced that we were getting THREE more books in the Temptation series, I just about had a heart attack, and I cried tears of joy, like legitimate tears running down my face. Tease was done SO well, and in my opinion, was a great beginning of a continuation-story that promises to be a great ride! I'm beyond excited to see what the next book in the series has to offer us lucky readers. So thank you Ella, for taking me back to my happy place with Logan and Tate, it was such a warm comfy place to be (and totally hot too). True fans of these guys will absolutely devour this book, and you should because it's AMAZING and wonderful and ALL the adjectives.

It was great reading about L&T again... catching up with them...although I know there will be two other books, I am kind of let down with this ending ... I feel like nothing really "happened" in this book but a lot of sex and some catching up, revisiting old wounds, more sex, (I must be getting old? But I found myself skimming the sex scenes

We're finally back with our darlings Logan & Tate!
If you haven't read TRY & TAKE & TRUST you should definitely do it now, before reading TEASE!

Four years have gone by since we last saw those two boys!
Logan has grown his firm with his brother Cole and Tate is successfully running his bar The Popped Cherry.
But on the personal front things are a bit slow. They haven't seen much of each other lately. Due to Logan's big case and Tate's long hours at the bar.
Time to change things up a bit. Business things!
Hire a new partner for the firm and hire a new night manager for the bar!

description

But of course business problems are not the only things troubling our two boys!
Tate's sister might show up.
Our favorite, hilarious barrista Robbie might show up.
And the words
SETTLED. DOMESTIC. COMMITTED.
might scare the hell out of our Logan!
Or do they??? ☺

Read the book to find out! ☺

description

I just LOVED this book.

We missed those boys so much and now they're back. And we'll even get two more books!
Which doesn't mean that we have a stupid cliffy here. We don't! There are some things we need to work out or work on, but no cliffy!
This was one of those amazing books where the author doesn't feel the need to come up with those unnecessary drama moments. You know the ones? Where there's a lie or a misunderstaning and then we fight and break up and then bla bla.
Nope, we have this beautiful continuation of an amazing lovestory.

"Where else would I be?
You're where my heart is.
So that's where I stay."

description

We get something we WISH almost every book would have.
What happens after THE END!?
And we get that here.

I loved every single adorable and funny and erotic moment of this book!
And now I can't wait to hear more from our darlings!!!

description

ooooh - I have a tiny little something to complain about...
I wish those book would've been written in the first person POV!
It gets sooo confusing for me when it's two guys talking and thinking - all those him's and his's and grrr - I sometimes didn't know who was thinking/doing/saying what. :(

Review @ Vanilla & Spice Books

The Boys are back!!! God. GOD. I have no idea where to start, I'm a mess. *takes a deep breath*

It's always so hard to do a book justice with your review if you love the characters and their journey like I adore these two. From the first book on Ella Frank's spellbinding, charismatic heroes of her Temptation series took my heart away and have refused to give it up again ever since. When I heard that this author would continue her amazing MM Romance I squealed. And did the Carlton dance.

Of course, there is always a bit of apprehension when an author decides to continue with the story of a couple he or she left in a happy place. So you might wonder if these books are necessary. Well, if you remember, there were a couple loose ends in the last three books I definitely think that there is enough material there to continue writing more Logan & Tate.

The story starts around four years after we left them. I am not going into plot details because I think the experience will be even better if you go in blind. Just trust Ella that she will do right by them. What I can say, however, is that Logan and Tate are in a good place. They love each other unconditionally, are devoted and as committed as commitment-phobe Logan allows. And Tate is more than OK with that - he has Logan's utter devotion and it's going both ways.

Logan is his usual arrogant and filterless self but there is a new layer of, let's call it maturity, to him that makes him so absolutely irresistible. For all his cockiness he always looks out for Tate. He gives his best friend and lover room to work out his problems. Logan is the most endearing when he shows his sweet side, which mostly his bartender is on the receiving end of. And he has a ginormous heart. Logan is also so utterly adorable when he shows his insecurities and worries. But all this together makes this complicated man so human and wonderful. And it doesn't hurt that he is hot AF. In clothes and in bed.

Tate is still the easy-going, considerate and level headed and wonderful man. He calms the storm in Logan and always knows the right things to say when the love of his life needs reassurance. Tate isn't any less captivating. He stands his ground with the intense Logan. The curly gorgeous man knows how much his lawyer loves to be teased and makes use of this knowledge often. Which more often than not lands them both in bed. And holy moly, when Tate gets authoritative and commanding it's like my Kindle catches fire. This guy's heart is just as big as Logan's.

Together they are like a well oiled machine. They just work. Their sexual attraction is strong as ever and so primal, raw and hot. They play rough but they play, what comes out of their mouths is positively filthy. It will leave you panting but coming back for more. But they can also be sweet and tender with each other and I have yet to decide which side of Logan and Tate I love more. They are just perfect and I'd totally be the turkey in their sandwich if they asked me.

We get to catch up with Cole and Rachel. I loved to see them again with their kids and how close they have become with Logan and Tate. We also see a familiar name return in this story and a new one and I have strong suspicion that we will see a new series or book about them in the future. Yes, we do get some reminders of events from the first three books but I found those necessary to ultimately move this story forward. The banter is, as always, hilarious.

Ella Frank can throw any book at me and I'll gladly read it. I can completely immerse myself in her stories and don't want to come up for air. Now the waiting begins for the next part in Tate's and Logan's journey. Until then...

This was a sweet edition to Logan and Tate's story. I wanted more after I read book 3 the first time and I was doing a little happy dance when I found out this book was coming out.

It was actually nice to see them enjoying life together without a lot of angst. While there were still HOT flaming sex scenes 🔥🔥🔥, it was also sweeter and more sincere to me. I found myself swooning a lot at some of the things they said to each other.
“I love you so damn much. I can’t believe there was ever a time when I didn’t.”~Logan

“You’re always here when I need you the most.” Logan let his hand fall away so he could take hold of Tate’s, and once their fingers were entwined, he brought them to his lips, kissed them, and said, “Where else would I be? You’re where my heart is. So that’s where I stay.”~Logan

“My tradition was always about family, and you, Logan, are my family. So if we want to go to Cole and Rachel’s or visit with my father or, hell,” he said, and nipped at Logan’s lower lip, “if we want to stay in bed naked all day on a Sunday, I don’t care. As long as you’re there. That’s my new tradition and the one that’s most important to me.”~Tate

I'm nervous about the next one. I really don't like when a couple is "messed with" after they seem to have their HEA. But I do believe these two are solid and will work out any issues they have.

This book makes me sad. Just like for many Logan & Tate are one of my favorite couples. I loved Try and Take and as for Trust that was just ok for me. The story had kind of petered out by the time book 3 came out. That should've given an indication that Tease wasn't for me but because I do love these guys, and I was interested to see what the author would do with their story I gave it a shot.

What did I think? That it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was just ok. There wasn't much going on, to be honest. I understand not wanting to add contrived drama, but there has to be something new happening. This was basically rehashing some stuff, catching up with past characters, and sex- lots of sex. Not even the sex was enough to keep me captivated. And the end, we're kind of just left there.

This will likely be my last Logan & Tate book. They will always hold a special place in my heart, but you have to know when to quit. I'll take the great memories from books 1 and 2 and look forward to other storylines from Ms. Frank. 3 Stars.

Oh dear Lord… I had missed Logan and Tate.. I Loved reading about them again. After reading this its official I will read every book Ella Frank writes about Logan and Tate. I read Finley just because there was a brief scene with Logan and Tate. Yap I am that addicted.

description

It’s been four years since Logan Mitchell walked into Afterhours, saw Tate and decided to Try him and the rest as they say is history……. well not really. This is book 4 in the Temptation series and we get to read about how far Logan and Tate’s relationship has developed.

I loved catching up with the boys. Logan and Tate have grown since book 3. The chemistry between these two is still there and bounces off the pages.

Logan still has that dirty sexy mouth….
"You know, I'm very careful about what I put in my mouth because it's my motto to always swallow"

Tate still sweet as ever
"When are you going to understand that nothing anyone says to me will ever change how I feel about you? I love you, Logan Mitchell. That's never going to change."

Cole and Rachel’s kids I loved them and that babysitting scene, awwww. Uncle Logan and Unca Tate were amazing. But I was confused I thought Cole and Rachel named their boy Benjamin Madison not Thomas Madison... it bugged me..

The sex just the kind I like to read about. Hot! Hot!
"“Get on the bed, Tate.”
“Back or stomach?”
“Oh, you’re going to end up on both. But for now, let’s start with your back.”
“Bring it on.”
“I want to feel the back of your throat against the head of my cock. And I want to see that feral fucking look that hits your eyes when you do it.”

The Romance was swoon worthy, i was smiling while these two were being lovey dovey..

"Where else would I be? You're where my heart is. So that's where I stay."

⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱*A unnecessary read*⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱

We are now 4 years in the future of lawyer Logan Mitchell (37) and bartender Tate Morrison (32-33?). The couple is happy and settled, though for the past 7 or so months, Logan has been caught up in the big case which has taken up a lot of time. Meaning, Logan and Tate has barely seen each other. So Logan and Tate is now determent to fix that and make sure they have more time for each other.

“Never. You’re stuck with me forever.”
As the lamplight played over Tate’s features, Logan enjoyed the sheer pleasure of looking at him. The dark eyes, thick lashes, and kissable lips. “Forever’s a long time.”
“What? Worried you couldn’t put up with me for that long?” Tate chuckled.
“No,” Logan said, and his serious tone must’ve caught Tate’s attention, because he sobered instantly. “I’m worried it won’t be long enough.”

Overall, the book was a unnecessary read as it felt like I was just reading book #3 over again. I get it, they are in love and everything is lovey-dovey, and although the book was cute, it was boring. Sure, it was nice to see that they are still quite in love and happy, I didn't think I'd be reading an extension of the third book. I thought we'd be getting more from them and the story. So the book was cute and a really boring, with nothing interesting happening.

Tate raised his head, he whispered, “Thank you.” Logan narrowed his eyes, and Tate said, “You’re always here when I need you the most.”
Logan let his hand fall away so he could take hold of Tate’s, and once their fingers were entwined, he brought them to his lips, kissed them, and said, “Where else would I be? You’re where my heart is. So that’s where I stay.”

Other characters:
Cole Madison, Logan's (half) brother and business partner at the law firm, Mitchell & Madison. Rachel ‘Rach’, a pastry chef and Cole's wife. Has two kids; Thomas (4?) and his little sister, Lila (2 and a half).
Diana Cline, Tate’s ex-wife. A bitch.
Jill, Tate's sister. Another bitch; they are bitches together. Her husband, Sam.
Will Morrison, Tate's father who is awesome and accepting.
Mason ‘Mase’ Langley, Rachel’s brother and runs the restaurant Exquisite downtown, which he and Rachel owns. Has a little girl named Catherine. His wife Lena, a pediatrician.
Joshua ‘Josh’ Daniels, a client and friend of Cole’s. Has a daughter named Savannah. He owns Creative Construction & Remodeling Company (I think). His wife Shelly, a pulmonologist.
Robert ‘Robbie’ Bianchi , a complete flirt. Used to work at The Daily Grind as a barista.
Christopher ‘Chris’ Walker, Logan's ex and a abusive (with words), manipulative bastard. Owns half of the biggest architecture firm in Chicago.
Evelyn Mitchell, Logan’s mother.
Daniel Finley, lawyer at Leighton & Associates; the best in the business when it came to personal injury claims.
Joel ‘Priest’ Priestley, the best criminal law attorney currently located in L.A.

“Welcome back.”
Robbie cocked his head to the side. “Excuse me?”
“I said, welcome back. That’s the Robbie I remember. The one full of sass. The one blatantly undressing me with his eyes.”
“Hey, you’re the one who brought it up.”
Logan glanced down to Robbie’s lap and chuckled. “So I did.”
Robbie’s mouth parted as though he were in shock, and then…then he started laughing and the sound was, well, wonderful.

I can't believe I'm not giving this one 5 stars. This series is one of my all time favs!!!
After rereading the first 3 books, and loving them all, I just expected this one to blow my mind and it kind of didn't. Don't get me wrong, it was still HOT and pretty sweet at times, but... I expected a little more. Maybe more surprises on the way. I enjoyed it, loved it, but less than I expected.

Four years later... and Tate and Logan are super in love and extremely hot for each other!

I am also super glad The Popped Cherry is successful. Love the bar's name 🍒

I loved Cole's family, Rachel and the kids. We revisit Robbie and I'm super curious about him and Priest. Will be reading their story for sure.

But I expected a little more from this one. It didn't surprise me much. So I am looking forward to reading more and hopefully the next book will bring more angst 😉

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 I f*cking ❤️ Logan & Tate stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tease for me was PURE HEAVEN I loved every single second I spent with Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison.

We catch up with the guys four years after Trust. They both have busy lives and after Logan wins a big case they both decide to work less and make more time for each other.

These two are even dirtier now having been a couple for four years the sex HOLY HELL they are filthy and bossy and the banter is still there between ALL the dirty talk. They are so in sync now and totally into PDA, Logan would give me "the glare" for this but they are SO CUTE.

I adored the family time with the kids how cute were Thomas and Lila and especially Tate and Lila.

OMG Logan, hope book 5 won't be too long and THANK YOU Ella Frank for continuing the Temptation series you are my favourite m/m author.

I wonder if there will be story soon for Robbie and Priestley. (Keeping fingers crossed)

2 stars ⭐️ Even though I gave this book 2 stars I really love Logan and Tate together. 😍 And, they are such a great couple too. But when it comes to this book which is the fourth installment of the Temptation series, there was hardly a plot, and I wasn't interested in going on with their tedious life without much of anything. 😭
Their romance and a lot of sex were the only things in the whole book, and that made me feel so tiresome.

The Temptation series originally consisted of only three books, and I absolutely adored them. When I heard that Ella Frank was adding Tease and additional books to the series, I totally freaked out. More Tate and Logan? Don’t mind if I do. Then this nagging thought crept in. What if their HEA is totally screwed up by a ton of drama?

Tease teaser

The story takes place four years after the end of Trust. It’s amazing to see how far along Tate—the formerly adamantly straight man—has come in openly embracing his sexual orientation. He and Logan are still very much together, but their busy lives leave few opportunities for quality time. That doesn’t sit well with either of them.

The problem with the story isn’t too much drama; it’s the lack of sufficient conflict. There simply isn’t enough substance to further the plot, so many times it feels as if not much is actually happening. Logan’s insecurity is the main issue. Despite Tate’s reassurances, Logan, who is the King of Cocky, constantly worries that Tate will leave him. They live together and enjoy their monogamous, committed relationship, yet the actual word “commitment” makes Logan break out in a sweat. I like the contradictions in his personality.

It’s lovely to see them together and know that their connection is even more intense than before. I did find it hard to believe (no pun intended) that their perpetual state of arousal is so strong that they have to hide their erections whenever they are near each other. Literally. I could have done with a little less horniness and a little more plot, but Logan and Tate do exude fun, tenderness, and fabulous chemistry. They remain one of my favorite book couples.

I really enjoyed catching up with the series’ entertaining and integral side characters. I hope the supporting characters will increasingly impact the storyline as the series continues. Finding out what’s been going on at Tate’s bar, The Popped Cherry, was also quite nice because it hadn’t even opened yet in the previous book.

I have no complaints about the quality of the writing, and I did enjoy reading Tease. It certainly satisfied my Tate and Logan fix. I just expected more content. The book ends with some unfinished business left dangling. I continue to be a fan of this great series, and I am looking forward to reading what happens next.

Honestly, I could read stories like this all day every day and never tire of them. I know some romance readers don't like revisiting established couples over and over, especially when the plot - like this one - simply follows the couple in their day-to-day lives, with little angst or drama to drive the story forward, but for me, this is when I'm in my zone!

I found this 4th installment of the Temptation series absolutely perfect in its simplicity.

The story just follows Logan and Tate through their daily lives, four years after the original trilogy takes place. It was great to see them thriving in their relationship and in their professional lives.

They've still got it, too. Boy, do they ever! Their chemistry is still burning hot and their love is so well-established that diving into this story was like putting on my favourite comfy sweater - it just fit and felt amazing.

It was also great to revisit some of the other much loved secondary characters, including Robbie, who stole a lot of the spotlight for me and who now needs to get his own spin-off, pretty please with a cherry on top!!! Plus, Cole and Rachel's children were damn cute, too, and I look forward to seeing more interactions between them and "Unca" Tate and Uncle Logan.

The promise of what's to come next for my favourite M/M couple might just kill me with extreme anticipation, but thankfully, I have 4 books to re-read and keep me occupied in the meantime.

Then, right before he drifted off, Tate heard Logan whisper, “I love you so damn much. I can’t believe there was ever a time when I didn’t.”

This is the story of Logan and Tate after their Happily Ever After, their unrivaled love story, scorching chemistry, hilarious banter that never gets old, trust and loyalty stronger than steel, and an understanding for one another that has the power to simply unman you for the utterly humbling nature the magnitude of their love for one another.

I've said it once and I'll bloody say it again, if a love like the one Logan and Tate share for one another doesn't exist in this world, you can count me out of being human being because it wouldn't be worth it.

“What? Worried you couldn’t put up with me for that long?” Tate chuckled.
“No,” Logan said, and his serious tone must’ve caught Tate’s attention, because he sobered instantly. “I’m worried it won’t be long enough.”
And wasn’t that the truth. Something had changed in him over the last few months. Made him realize how special the man beside him really was. It wasn’t as though he could possibly love Tate any more than he already did. But maybe it’s a different layer? One that comes after years of being together? Logan thought. Or maybe it’s just because he looks perfect sitting there staring at me like he can’t imagine a day without me. Yeah, that’s probably it.

→ I was skeptical going into this book because well, what extension of series hasn't already disappointed me beyond proportion?

→ This book talked a lot about Mitchell and Madison Law firm, which I don't mind but a great detail of what happens there is greatly discussed and I can see some of it boring other people, soooooo Caution for that

→ This book was a LOT less smexy 🥲
→ but I'll be damned if the emotional connection they shared during their intimate moments feed my entire soul with so much awe.

There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t try with Tate, nothing he wouldn’t do to please him, and while that may seem crazy under normal circumstances, the absolute need and compatibility they shared was so in tune with one another’s desires that Logan never once questioned it. He merely accepted it as part of who they were.

And if I had the time to write a bloody essay, of the simple elegance these two share with knowing each other inside out, soul to soul, it was without a doubt, a knowledge to behold and marvel at.
“Tate,” Logan said, wanting his attention, and when he had it, he asked softly, “You doing okay?”
“Yeah. I’m fine.”
“Fine, huh?” Logan said as he crossed the kitchen and placed a hand on his chest. “You don’t have to pretend right now. It’s just me.”

Initial reactions: Logan and Tate are bloody endgame, and are the fucking STANDARD!

"You're where my heart is. So that's where I stay."

Try by Ella Frank was my first ever MM novel. In fact, I went into it not even knowing it was MM. After a while I had thought, where's the love interest? Yeah. That was my dumb blonde moment. I ended up loving that book and it opened up a new world of romance for me. I love Tate and Logan and will read anything involving the two of them.

Tease takes place about four years after the original trilogy and we get to see what is happening in the "domesticated" lives of Tate and Logan. Both have been busy with work, and when Logan realizes this, he demands they make more time for each other.

I like that this book cleared up lose ends from the last book, things I definitely had questions about and some resolutions I never expected to get, so I was very happy for those. Why not a higher rating? I felt the pacing was off and I was skimming through the hot parts. I wish we had gotten more plot than hot, and it's how I also felt about book 3. Again, I did enjoy this book and the fact that we got answers, it was just a bit too slow and didn't hold my attention as well as books 1 and 2 did.

PS I am dying for the next book after the end of this one. So Ella still has me hooked!

"Forever's a long time."
"What? Worried you couldn't put up with me for that long?"
"No. I'm worried it won't be long enough."

While this book wasn't bad, it was a bit unnecessary. This is book 4 of the same couple and it didn't really bring anything new to the table. No major developments. A bit of a look into their day to day lives without much happening. Still love this couple & still gonna finish the series. Also- looking forward to more Robbie & his series!

I'm so happy to be back with Logan and Tate!! I already love Priest, and I'm happy Robbie is back 😁 although I still kinda want a whole little story of a Logan and Finn snark-off while Tate and Brantley referee, or just laugh at their ridiculousness 😂

I almost gave this a 3.5, but the last chapter literally boosted the whole book for me 🥰, now I'm excited for more story, instead of constant sex scenes. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm ready for more about these two than just their bedroom activities!

I have to start of by saying Logan and Tate are one of my all time favorite couples, so to say I was absolutely petrified Ms. Frank could quite possibly ruin my love for them with a pointless drama filled mess, well that's an understatement. Thank goodness that didn't happen!!

This book was set 4 years into their relationship, which is what I'm always asking for...we get to just sit back and see what happens next. I love it when Justin Timberlake's character in the movie Friends with Benefits says what happens next after the rom com ends is porn....we get a taste of that here. Tate and Logan definitely burn up the pages, and it is pron-a-rificly HOT!

I quite honestly loved that their biggest problem was not having enough time together, and that was simply because of their busy lives. Watching them with Cole and Rachel's kids...man that right there was swoon worthy!!

Not sure where there still is to go and what could possible be left to fill two more books, I will happily read along...but please..for the love of all that is holy...don't let there be crazy stupid drama!! (Amen)

***On a side note: I totally see a relationship brewing between Robbie and Joel Priestley, that is a book I want to read.

4.5 Stars of HOTNESS & FEELS!

I'll be honest. Very little happened in this book plot-wise. And I'm big on the plot thing, but.......

It's LOGAN and TATE. Four years later. And they're hotter, and happier, and more in love than ever. They also have lots of hot sex. So....how can I not love it?

Logan is one of my favorite characters ever--probably because he's such an ass. And Tate...I keep thinking he's the sweet one in the relationship, but then he's just as alpha and dirty as Logan.

Well written (aside from the lack of any type of plot) and featuring one of my favorite couples with zero angst. It's a win-win in my book!

Oh...that new cover you see there? That's Frank's vision of Logan come to life. Totally panty-changing, swoon worthy!

It’s been eight years since I had my M/M cherry popped by Logan and Tate. In the time since, they have absolutely remained a favorite to me.

One I did not want messed with.

I didn’t want new books and I didn’t really want to re-read. I didn’t want the love I felt for them to be messed with by new stories and I definitely did not want my own aging brain to change my feelings toward them. So, I avoided these “new” additional three stories in the series like the freaking plague.

The downside to this? A book I’ve been waiting years for is now somehow part of Ella’s Chicagoverse (it wasn’t to begin with grrrrr…) and has now been released but it is tied into so many other stories I just can’t read it until I get through all these books first.

Add into that, I find myself in some sort of weird reading fog. I won’t be so drastic and call it a funk, but there is something going on with me and I just needed something. After scrolling for what felt like days through my entirely too long TBR, realizing what I want to read I CAN’T, Tease showed up and I figured there was no better time than now to revisit these boys and hope my memories didn’t change with the new stuff and I’d have a good time getting through what I’d missed.

I’m happy to report all is well in my world of Logan and Tate. No, I am not head over heels in love with this story like I was the original three. I honestly still don’t know if more was necessary, well, one maybe, but three more, I’m still on the fence. I love a good re-visit if it is to move the couple forward into a better place that didn’t happen at the end of the original series. Marriage, kids, whatever. And I get that this is probably exactly that, I just don’t know if I feel like it needed to be stretched over three new novels, but so far I’ve only read one, so the verdict is still out.

There was a time when I would have died to have more Logan and Tate, but now, I just don’t feel that strongly.

But, with all that wordy shit up there said, I had a good time, even if I skimmed a bit. I see that there were a few things leftover that would need to be wrapped up. I also see there was still some moving forward for them that I’m glad to be here for. It for sure is gearing me up for Robbie’s stories which of course frighten me a little, M/M/M is never really my thing, but he kind of is sooooo…yeah.

Do I think we needed more? I don’t know. Maybe had I read these when they came out I would have said HELL YEAH! Now, really, well, they’ll always have a special place in my heart and it’s not too much of a hardship to spend some time with them.

Who knows, I may finish the three new books and be head over heels in love again.
