The Research Network on Leadership and Improvement of Education (RILME), in collaboration with the Automa University of Madrid, has the honor to invite scholars to the Ist International Conference on Leadership and School Improvement, that will be held in Madrid, in the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training on May 31st and 1st and 2nd of June, 2017.
The Conference seeks to be an opportunity to debate among researchers, managers and teachers interested in the theoretical and practical fields of Leadership and School Improvement at all levels of the Educational System.
In the organization we have had keynote speakers by internationally renowned researchers such as Pam Sammons, Ciaran Sugrue, Christopher Day, Stefan Brauckmann, Antonio Viñao, Francisco Luna, Beatriz Pont or Daniel Muijs; roundtables with representatives of associations of directors and Spanish School Principals. There will be also experts in School Improvement, and Good Practices of School improvement processes.
RILME is made up of six research groups from other Spanish universities: Educational Change for Social Justice (GICE) of the Autonomous University of Madrid, School-Based Teacher Training (FORCE) at the University of Granada, Analysis of Educational Organizations (IDEA!) Of the University of Seville, Research Group DOCE of the University of Huelva; Equity and Inclusion in Education (EIE) of the University of Murcia, and Analysis, Intervention and Socio-educational Evaluation (AIES) of the University of Oviedo. It is currently funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness as a Network of Excellence. Ref: EDU2015-70036-REDT.
