Prachuap Khiri Khan: A swimming ban has been imposed off beaches in downtown Hua Hin district after three holidaymakers drowned on Monday.
Red flags were put up on beaches along Hua Hin and nearby Suan Son Pradipat Army Rehabilitation and Recreation Centre yesterday.
The three died after going for a morning swim on Monday. Large waves were seen engulfing Kritsada Iamkitjakarn, 38, Chonlamak Theerachaisuranant, 23, and Nathapat Wuthapanich, 24.
Two were found in the water and taken to hospital where they died. The body of the third victim later washed up on the beach.
