Several weeks ago someone mentioned how cool would be rebranding to "Z" , just "Z"... More I think about it, more I like it.
Sometimes rebranding is good, but sometimes is bad.However, I feel that it is only a matter of time in our case. Too much ppl think we're fork or something like scamcoin. The main thing is to choose the right moment. Nano, Neo, PIVX, they rebraned and this's good for him. |

Someone should make a formal proposal. BitcoinZ don't need rebrand. Definitly not now. Thats only my 2BTCZ. |

I wouldn't be worrying about voting in small-time competitions.
The only thing the community of this coin should be focused on right now is getting listed on a serious exchange. If I'm not mistaken, that's what the 10BTC was donated for, and that's what it should be used to do.

Equihash miner is here. https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180503154806494uGcSyiu806FDThis thing produces the same hashpower as 13 x 1080 Ti, however it uses only 300W. This is game changer. White paper sez to change algorithm in event of ASICs doesn't it? 6 weeks to get it done then and burn those that would spend on these unholy products. |

If this is coming to the markets, which it appears so... we're screwed. GPU mining is approaching another slow death as in the early days of BTC ASICS. BTC, Quark, X11, Scrypt, Monero, and now Equihash? I'm sure I missed one.... ya I know Monero and looks like Electroneum are changing code,,, but will Equihash coins??? |

I would not invest in any new GPU's right now lol, I expect to see Vega 64 down to 499.00 and so on... RX 580's what maybe 199.00 again?  If there is any upside to this news.... but there wont be many coins left to mine  |

Only other thing to watch if forks are done, is to see how the exchanges will deal with that too? Ya I'm sure some coins with weak dev support wont mess with it and just go along for the ride. |

True, Asic miners will come out for Equihash from June, but we are on a Solution to keep up with our Whitepaper and make us Asic Resist while we don't fork Hard! Ideas are welcome!
