A stint on the slopes can make for the perfect winter holiday, and the prospect of zooming through the Alps sounds all the better when you can do it for free. One lucky winner will take themselves and a friend aboard high-speed trains from London to Moutiers. Relaxing in first-class style and comfort on Eurostar and TGV, the winner will be whisked away at speeds of up to 320km per hour, taking in scenic views of the countryside as they head south towards the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps.
After a private transfer from the train station, they will then arrive at their luxury catered chalet, which will host them for seven nights. Situated in the heart of Reberty Village, the four ski in/out catered chalets of Powder N Shine are the best base for food loving skiers wanting to explore Les Menuires and The Three Valleys. The chalet chefs have worked in the kitchens of top UK and international restaurants and they love to show off their skills, with incredible results. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have a private chef prepare your breakfast and dinner (and who hasn’t done that?), this is the perfect opportunity for your foodie dreams to come true. Les Menuires is a ski resort with something for everyone, characterised by a wide choice of green, blue, red and black runs. The main area, La Croisette, offers a choice of bars and restaurants, as well as a small supermarket, shops and a new pool complex that comes complete with a spa. Reberty Village is higher and has a cosier feel with excellent piste-side restaurants and cafés. The prize includes lift passes, meaning you can take your pick of five panoramic peaks (ranging from 2,430-2,850m) offering fantastic views and perfect your skiing skills.
Transfers to and from Reberty are courtesy of Mountain Express. With a brand new fleet of top-of-the-range four-wheel drive VW Caravelles and a team of experienced drivers, you can rest assured your journey will be a lot smoother than your ski runs.
Terms and Conditions:
• The competition opens on Tuesday 25 October and all entries received before 6pm on Tuesday 22 November will be entered into the Voyages-sncf.com / Les Menuires competition. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
• The competition is only open to entrants aged 18 or over.
• The winner will be selected at random, from all eligible entries received by 22 November.
• Acknowledgement of the prize must be received within two weeks after the winner has been notified. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact the winner. If a winner cannot be contacted by this time, the prize may be awarded to another entrant.
• Prize includes – first class rail travel from London to Moutiers, accommodation in one of Powder ‘n Shine’s 4 catered chalets in Reberty Village - 6 days fully catered service (breakfast, afternoon tea, aperitifs and canapés, 4 course evening dinner), 2 x 6 days lift passes covering Les 3 Vallées, transfers between Moutiers station and the chalet.
• Not included in the prize travel and ski insurance, transfers between stations in Paris, travel to/from the UK departure station, equipment hire, meals other than those specified, drinks and other incidental sundries.
• The prize must be taken December 16-23 2016, January 7-14, 14-21, 21-28; March 4-11, 11-18 2017 and must be booked a minimum of one month in advance.
