HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth men's hockey team hosted its
annual Skate With The Big Green Sunday afternoon at Thompson Arena with several
hundred fans in attendance.
Members of the team, as well as head coach Bob Gaudet, took
to the ice with local kids and their parents for one of the program's favorite events
of the season.
"It's always great to have the kids come out and meet and
skate with their favorite players," Gaudet said. "We always enjoy having them
out on the ice and I think the guys really like talking to the kids, having
some fun with them and signing a few autographs."
The Big Green just finished their first weekend of play,
hosting the Ivy Shootout. Despite a 2-1 loss the night before, the team had a
good time skating with their young fans as well as signing the team poster and
jerseys.
