Tonic delighted with Wacker Neuson

Wiltshire based Tonic Construction really led the way in the long overdue adoption of the cabbed forward tipping dumper and have been so impressed with the Wacker Neuson product they are now investing in other machines from the Austrian based manufacturer.

The Managing Director of Tonic Construction Tony Iles has been something of a trailblazer with the cabbed dumper concept and has campaigned passionately about them for a number of years. His company now runs a complete fleet of cabbed 9 tonne standard skip and 6 tonne swivel skip dumpers and has certainly put his money where his mouth is to make the job safer and easier for his operatives which now total 200 employees. It was still early days with the cabbed Wacker Neuson’s when I had the pleasure of visiting one of their sites in Devizes, but cabbed dumper idea in general has come a long way since then with most major dumper manufacturers now offering their own versions. Mr Iles worked closely with Wacker Neuson to develop the new “safety dumpers” and in this testimonial video he talks more about the idea and his shift to using other Wacker Neuson machines.
