It’s become somewhat of a way of life in San Antonio for bats to disrupt play at Spurs games, but for Milwaukee center Brook Lopez, the third quarter bat stoppage might’ve presented an opportunity. Here’s what Lopez told SB Nation in February. “If you’ve learned anything from the modern superhero myth, if you see a bat around and it bites you, you have a 75 percent chance of ending up a superhero. Otherwise, you’ll probably get really sick. But it’d be cool to be a superhero. You don’t need to be too afraid. I’d say give it a shot.” Lopez obviously wasn’t bitten, but his Bucks may need to turn superhero to fend off a pesky upset-minded Spurs squad that has led by as many as 7 points.
