Students from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals visit the Arcadis office in Jeddah

Earlier this year, over 20 students from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals visited our office in Jeddah to learn more about Arcadis, about the great projects we’ve delivered in Saudi Arabia, and some of the schemes we’re currently working on across the Kingdom.

In a very interactive session, the students heard from Paul Souaid, Managing Director of Arcadis KSA, and Abdallah Al-Garawi, Business Development Manager for Arcadis KSA, as well as meeting other colleagues based in the Jeddah office.

Most of the students are enrolled on science, engineering and business courses, and were very impressed with the projects we work on and expressed a strong interest to work with Arcadis once they’ve graduated.  Some of the positive feedback from the students included:

  • “It was a great opportunity to hear more about the great work being delivered by a great team.” - AlNassir, Osama Y
  • “Thank you for your inspiration, and please wait for me in 2020 once I’ve graduated.” - AlDahm, Abdullah M.
  • “It was a very interesting introduction to the company. I’m impressed at the amount of projects that you’re working on today, and how you coordinate them all to such a high quality.” - AlZahrani, Abullah S.

This “knowledge share session” in Jeddah, is part of the local team’s strategic focus on targeting some of the best young talent coming out of the top universities in Saudi Arabia.

Abdallah Al-Garawi, Business Development Manager, Arcadis KSA said: “Vision 2030 will offer inspiring opportunities for the next generation of engineers, program managers and consultants to work on projects that will transform Saudi Arabia over the next 10-15 years. At Arcadis, we’re committed to hiring and training the best young talent so that they can have rewarding career paths and play their part in improving quality of life across the Kingdom.”
