Princess Charlotte is all grown up!

Kensington Palace released two photos taken by Duchess Kate of the 2-year-old royal before her first day of nursery school on Monday -- and prepare for your heart to melt!

Charlotte looked oh-so-stylish for her first day, wearing a red wool coat, Mary Janes and a bow on her shoulder-length brunette tresses that she polished off with a baby pink scarf. We have no doubt that her fashion-forward mother had something to do with her chic ensemble.

In one snapshot, Charlotte is seen sitting on the steps of Kensington Palace with her hands neatly placed on top of her lap. The second photograph shows the 2-year-old standing with one hand holding on to a rail. She truly takes after her photogenic mother when it comes to being in front of the camera!

The soon-to-be big sister to Kate and William's third child now attends Willcocks Nursery School, which is half a mile from Kensington Palace. Meanwhile, big brother Prince George is set to return for his second semester at Thomas' Battersea School this week.

Charlotte's first day is just one of the many milestones for the royal family in 2018. Kate's third baby is due in April, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to wed the following month in May.
