The Department of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Studies (WRD) in the College of Arts and Sciences is dedicated to the study and teaching of writing practices, public rhetoric, and digital media. WRD values students' abilities both in and beyond the classroom and is committed to preparing students for careers in writing in every industry, law school, website development, public policy, technical communication, and media production.
