I keep going through so many batteries and so I decided to just get a rechargeable battery station.I did not have the problem other people spoke of regarding the battery pack install feeling like you're going to break the controller. It simply went right in with a solid click.The battery station looks great and turns green when ready. I play for about 6 hours now on a single charge per controller.

This is a great set up to charge my controllers which saves buying TONS of batteries for myself and my families EXTENSIVE gaming hours. It works amazingly you set one or both controllers on the docking station and they charge wonderfully. The clean look of the docking station really blends into the same color as the controllers which gives it a nice clean look in our living room. As previously stated most everyone in my house ( 5+ people) play on the Xbox box one console, we were burning through so much money on batteries we could've probably bought a whole nother Xbox one with how much we'd spent. This allows us to save that money for future things ( such as the new Nintendo console coming out in march!) Now being a gamer I want long play time with these charged controllers, I've tested it out playing Assassin's creed syndicate for 14+ hours and they hold up amazingly, on my the box it says 18 hour play time. I haven't pushed that far but I am sure it could easily reach that or beyond!

Amazon didn't ask me to review this or give me any discounts because of this review, this is simply me LOVING this recharging station and the peace it has brought to my house.

If you don't have one already I highly recommend you get this charger ASAP. This is a total game changer! I wasted way too much money constantly replacing batteries, and as you know xbox controllers eat battery power at an astonishing rate. This charger looks cool and works great, charges relatively quickly and holds both controllers so if one dies just switch it out. The only down side is; don't forget to put it on the controller because if you run out in the middle of a game you can't charge and play. Also just a word of caution; when it says the battery is low, it means it, at that point you only have a couple minutes top left, so switch out before you start another game. No complaints though, this charging system has worked terrific and given me no problems. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

When I was searching for a charging station for my Xbone controllers, I looked at many products and did a lot of research. I came across the Venom charging station during the early stages of my search, and kept coming back to it because of all the positive reviews it received. If I'm playing my Xbone religiously (about 8 hours+ a day during my downtime from work and whatnot), the charge will usually last me a day and a half. Here's the thing though, once it tells you that the batteries are low, you better switch it then and there, because it dies within minutes of receiving the notification. Other than that, this is overall one of the best purchases I have made when it comes to my Xbone.

Item seems to work well. However when the battery dies while you are playing and the Xbox tells you "Controller Batteries Low" it really means it, Controller shut off and didn't turn back on until I charged them again.

They fully charge in roughly two hours from completely dead. Batteries last between 3-8 hours (unsure exactly, used on different days) but batteries don't disconnect like they did on the Xbox 360 controllers with similar products

The controllers sit comfortably in the base, although you do need to remove any attached controller devices (Keypad, Mic converter, etc.) in order to charge them.

Had to remove one battery from the controller and it was incredibly tough to do so. I did manage to get it out, but was afraid of breaking my controller when I was in the process of it. The batteries do however fit well in the controller as if they were the regular battery cover.

I recommend the product as an alternative to the play and charge kit and not in conjunction with.

Otherwise solid product.

To be fair this charger I ordered for an xmas present for my son and he didn't start using it till the 1st week of January. It starts off as a great product. The setup was straightforward and the battery life is decent. The problem I have with it is one of the charging positions no longer works. When I have a controller in the front cradle the charging light no longer comes on nor does it charge the controller. I have tried contacting the seller several times over the last 4-5 weeks but have not gotten a answer. Bottom line when it worked....it did work as advertised but there is no customer support or answering of customer inquiries. This takes a decent product down to 1 star. I understand there are bad units but a prompt response and resolution would have fixed my option of this product.

Update after a few weeks. Batts seem to last about 12 plus hours now and they charge pretty quick. Not a bad setup for under 30 bucks.

Update 2. Had it almost a year and the batts give me 10 to 12 hours game time depending on the game if it's using the rumble then 8 hours. The setup does come with 2 batts. good setup. I like it definitely worth the money

Turned up next day. It actually works, unlike another product I tried. Xbox one X compatible. Cant atest to it on the new Series X/S. But works on the Xbox one and Xbox one X perfectly!
Pack slots into the back of the control pad itself. Recharges by "docking" the control pad back onto the main unit which itself is plugged into the Xbox's USB or you can have it charge straight from the mains, via the docking station.

The battery lasts for a solid 6-8 hrs with a headset If you have two people playing on a long session and you want to stay wireless the whole day, would need 2 spare controllers and another 2 spare battery packs, so you can have those on the charger whilst you use the battery up gaming.
What my friend and I do, he owns one, I own one, quick swap off one of the packs and away you go, no need for expensive batteries or annoying leads
As stated already, plugs into the USB of your Xbox and charges in stand by mode when you are not playing as well as the obvious.

Great bit of kit, especially for the asking price. Only downside, takes almost as much time to charge as the length of time it takes to use the battery up in the first place. My only slight criticism, why I advise spare packs .
Very happy customer aside from that minor negative and it is a minor one.
