Well, color me surprised, but I loved this book!
After not particularly being a fan of the three previous books in this series, I never thought I would like this one so much. But it was nearly perfect for me.
Firstly the MCs didn’t have prehistory together; and it was great!
*me cynical non-2nd-chance-type*
No OW/OM, no cheating; the hero was not a manwhore and the heroine was a strong badass woman.
Langley/Lee - former combat pararescue jumper with a number of Afghanistan deployments was a strong but vulnerable woman. She had her issues, no doubt, but I could connect to her fears and her actions were actually well explained.
Lawson – school teacher (who did sport regularly, so he was tall and handsome ;-)), funny easy-going guy with depth.
The very best part: the man could show his feeling! And it was beautiful! He wooed her, he cherished her, he was the first to say “I love you” and even after she didn’t tell it back immediately, he showed only patience and loved her unconditionally.

I’ll kiss all of your hurts away, Lee. Always.

Fortunately there was no unnecessary über drama.
The short drama period was mainly because the heroine didn’t let him take care of her. And I liked that he didn’t give up and had a plan to win her back, but she was the one to come back to him and bare her feelings.

One of the most beautiful parts about loving a guarded woman is when she finally lets you in. And when she does let you in, it’s not because she needs you. She stopped needing anyone a long time ago. It’s because she wants to let you in, that she wants you to help her.

Funny sweet epilogue, but I would prefer it was him (and not her) who proposed. It was solved well, no complaints, but I as a maybe a bit old-fashioned woman would like to see him woo her one more time.

P.S. See, I’m not forever b*tch ;-), I just always honest. And when I like the book I can write also nice reviews! *lol*

Alliteration.

Puns.

Multiple Star Wars references.

You guys! My inner nerd is all lit up with love and a hefty appreciation for how much fun this book was. I love a man who loves alliteration. I love a man who uses laughter to make people feel loved. To make them feel like they belong. To make them feel good, even if it’s at his own expense. You know what all this means, right?

Loved the freaking crap out of Lawson Briggs (and his ever-present t-shirts that made me snort-laugh on more than one occasion), I did.

Two things.

First? Lawson Briggs is basically the man of my dreams. He’s goofy, and sweet, and undyingly loyal. He’s got a bit of a “class clown” thing going for him, but his penchant for humor only makes his serious moments that much more powerful. His heart is enormous (and that’s not the only thing…*blushes*) and I am completely smitten with him.

And Lee? Oof. Her story broke my heart, but her character was anything but heartbreaking. She’s strong and brave, and as she warmed to Lawson, she blossomed in a way that made my heart swell with happiness and pride. She’s amazing. She’s perfect for Laws. I loved them together. I love, more than anything, Ms. Boldt’s way of balancing humor and tenderness in a way that rings true, feels right, and is such a delight to read.

Second? This group of friends is the best. The BEST. Laws and Lee’s love story is fantastic, but a huge part of the magic here is the love story going on in this group of friends. They’re hilarious, affectionate, and they read so authentically to me. The banter is top notch, and the warm fuzzies are plentiful. I’ve loved every single book in this series (and still have my hands out for more because, OHMYGOSH, Foster!) and that is entirely because this motley mix of teachers and ex-military men and women—all with great big adorable personalities—are so incredibly loveable.

RC Boldt was a new-to-me author when I picked up the first book in this series (Wildest Dream) and she’s quickly become a sure-thing favorite. If you like your books funny, flirty, and full of heart (with dashes of sizzling heat)—read this! Read them all! You will not be disappointed! ~ Shelly, 5 stars

I wanted so badly to like this book. I love some of the other books this author has written. A book about a strong ex-air force woman and a smart funny teacher? Sign me up. But, alas this book was a little bit of a let down. While the home was on point the plot lacked any direction. Fifty percent of this book was about their friends who were featured in previous books or alluded to future romances. Their romance was not book worthy and too mellow to actually read about. I don't like angst but I need SOME substance to follow along.

Holy Humor Alert, Batman!

Also hands down MY FAVORITE book from this series, and that’s saying something since I’ve got a whole lot of feels for them all.

I finished this story a little while ago and have been trying valiantly to calm myself down before writing this review. Clearly, based on the way I’m already going, that’s going to be next to impossible, but here’s where I attempt to try

If you have any experience at all with previous books in this series, you know who Lawson Briggs is. You know he’s the funny man of the group. The Seth Rogan if you will (Shh, leave me alone, there are waaay too many freaking funny men in movies these days). You also know a least a little that he’s got one hell of a heart. Loyal to a fault, someone who cares about his friends and wants the best for them (even using large amounts of humor to achieve that goal), he’s basically the best of the best.

He was one of my favorite characters in this series to date and even though I’m over here going out of my mind wanting to see a book with Foster, I eagerly awaited gobbling up this little ditty too, even if there’s nothing really “little” about it. In any respect *wink wink*

Who you don’t really know, but who you’re about to get a crash course Lawson styles in, is Langley.

A complicated bird she was. One with a past I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, but who through her strength of will and character, along with drive and heart, made something of herself and became the only woman chosen to be a PJ (Pararescue Jumper). She intrigued me right from her first appearance in previous books and she furthered it when she was brought to life even more on the page here.

I felt for her, even though our situations are nothing alike, and as far as couples go, these two were definitely made in the stars for each other. Each of them bringing something to the table that the other may not have had or been used to, until they were damn near sparking my kindle.

This book is rich with more than just romance though. It’s rich with real emotion, levels of humor that are out of this world and a family dynamic, even with none of them being blood related really, that just makes for one hell of a story.

Lawson saw, Lawson wanted, Lawson wore down defenses and took. It was truly a beautiful (and funny) thing to witness.

My inner nerd, especially as far as Star Wars goes, is still freaking nutting out over here. So if that doesn’t tell you just how epic a read this was, especially for other nerds like me, well I don’t know what will.

If you’ve read anything by this author before, caught any of this series, or are just looking for your next emotionally fulfilling story, look no further than here. It’s got a little something for everyone and then some.

My thanks to the author and all others involved in letting me read this story. Lawson and Lee’s journey was one that I am so beyond excited that I got to be a part of.

Oh Laws. I knew Lawson's story would be hilarious and sweet, but this book was so much more than that. Each book in this series that comes out becomes my new favorite.

My Thoughts
This book can be read as a stand alone, but we got to see more of Lawson and Langley in the previous books, and I can tell you I was very excited to see Lawson get his HEA. Lawson is the group goofball. He makes everyone laugh and forget their issues. He is also the one of those people who will do anything for his friends. Langley Ford is a former Pararescue Jumper that is über serious because of many things that happened in her past and her time in the military.

I smiled the entire time I read this book. If Lawson wasn't saying something hilarious, the other guys were being goofy, Foster and Noelle were bantering, or my favorite Lawson was being an amazing boyfriend and making Langley smile or laugh or open up. These two seemed polar opposites most of the series, but they fit so well together. I loved this book so hard. It had very little drama, a ton of laughs, a huge heart, and more nerdy humor than you could ever ask for. Highly recommend this book and this series, each book gets better and better. RC Boldt has quickly become on of my go to authors and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Finally we get Lawson's story!!!

I read and loved each book this series so far and I have been looking forward to Lawson's story. Lawson is a man who always makes everyone laugh, however has yet to find his happy after ever. however when Langley (Lee) joins the group, he sets about breaking her barriers down and getting to know her. Langley appear to be a tough women straight out the army but some of the issues still haunt her. Slowly as we see Lawson chip away Lee wall's she has built up, she even shows that she has a great sense of humor. At times we also got see a caring and alpha version of Lawson!!!

I loved the chemistry and banter between Lawson and Langley. Langley is such a strong women and I was willing her to let Lawson win her over throughout. The rest of the group also feature and it is always good to see more of this group. We also get to see more of Foster and Noelle and I so can't wait for their story. These books are real feel good stories and each one gets better and better. RC Boldt is defiantly a go to author for me.

Overall this was a great read that I would highly recommend.

Since I started the teach me series one character has stuck me and i have a huge soft spot for hi. he has always been there and offered light relief, advice, but I always knew there was something more wanting and waiting to turn into pure gold.

When I found out he was getting his own book, I was looking forward to reading it and RC Boldt didn't disappoint with Lawsons story, in fact I think its my favourite of the series.

What I love about these books is the fact the not only do we get the main character story and learn more about Lawson and and who he is, plus Langley and where she has come from in more detail. How they are opposites in everyday but equals and totally suited. But also the way the other characters are all interlinked link an episode of your favourite tv show and each book is an episode playing out right before you. I love this world.

this is definitely my favourite so far and for that its a fantastic 4.5 stars.

I freaking love this group of friends!! RC Boldt surprised me again, I didn't think I was going to like Lawson, but HOLY HOT, Batman. Yeah, I'd take him home. Any time.
Langley's story broke my heart. I'm so glad she found her way to this group, she couldn't have found a better pack to become part of. I loved how Laws won her over, they are the perfect contrast to each other.
Lawson's grandmother -- OMG, she was hilarious. I hope she makes additional appearances in further books! It would also be hilarious if she showed up at a Momma K dinner. HAHAHA.

I think I'm way too attached to this group. I cannot wait for Kane's story, and Foster and Noelle just need to get it on already. LOL

RC Boldt very quickly became one of my favorite authors with this series...I hope there are lots more to come in this series!!!!!

Ms. Boldt has done it again. Wrote a story that hooks you from the first page and reels all of your emotions in. I have read the other books in this series and always said that I want a group of friends like the characters in this book. Each book gets better and better.

What I liked about Laws of Attraction. Lawson and Lee have some bumps along the road but you will fall in love as they navigate the road to love. Lawson knows what he wants and goes for it, not holding back. Lee is scared but Lawson wears the walls around her heart down. What really got me was the emotion of the relationship between these two. As it unfolds you see the turmoil Lee has went through in her life and it broke my heart. Lawson is the one who is always there for everyone and now it is his turn to find happiness. He knows it will take time for Lee to accept his love and he never pushes her.

If you want a fantastic read that will make you laugh out loud and then cry the next minute then you need to read this book. I love all the characters and love when I can experience all their joys, triumphs, and tragedies right along side them. Can't wait for the next book.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book for Kylie's Fiction Addiction.

Feel the force

I loved this book, you root for Lawson and you can't help root for Lee and no book in this series would be complete without some sort of heart felt gesture.
Be prepared for lots of laughs and Yoda who doesn't love Yoda?
Lawson Briggs has always been the joker of the group but when he meets Langley Ford his world is about to be turned upside down. And not one to turn down a challenge he sets his sights on Langley.
Langley Ford has had a tough life from her childhood through to her being the only female para jumper(pj), that is until she finds out that after taking a bullet she has been made an outcast. She has always known the other guys never really accepted her well apart from her best friend Lucas. But when she goes to work for Foster's security company she has finally found somewhere she belongs and throw in mandatory nights at momma K's she has to endure Lawson Briggs. But Langley doesn't do love or know what it is and she is thrown off kilter with the girls wanting all the details but will Langley be able to give her heart to the man who loves her and will fight for her?

I really enjoyed this book. Lee is a bad ass military woman who was able to get into special forces as a female. She suffered not only childhood hardships, but also hatred from her peers in the military. With everything that's been going on this day and age, the book being written a couple years ago, highlights the inequality women still deal with on an daily basis. Lee always felt like she needed to take care of herself and to prove to others that she can handle her own problems. It took awhile but she finally learned that it's ok to lean on others and accept help. Fantastic read and uplifting for women empowerment. I will point out there were a few editing errors that were missed but did not take away from the story. Like with the last book, there are discrepancies, but minor ones. You might want to look into getting a new editor, they did not do a good job.

Just take the puns and run!!!

No, but really I'm a sucker for a good pun... and this book did NOT disappoint on that front.

Lawson Briggs, my God, that man. How can you not fall in love with the funny bones of this series? I mean seriously, he's like the glue that's held this Fr-amily together. He's always there to lend a laugh, a smile, especially when they don't think it's needed. He's my kind of man.

The layers these to have is awe-inspiring. I mean just to know they need that perfect someone to peel away one layer at a time. Speaking of layers...

Langley Ford isn't your typical woman, ooh, heck no. She's a bona-fide Bada-- She's had a rough life but she's one of the strongest women I've ever read about. Simply (or not so simply) AMAZING!!!

I'm saddened that this series is over, I truly hope to see some of these characters in RC'S other books!! Because seriously, this is one of my favorite groups ever!!

First of all, if you haven't checked out the first three books in the Teach Me series, I truly do recommend them. It has been a great collection of books that I catch myself having a goofy smile on my face as I flip through the pages, with actual bursts of laughter at the jokes among the characters, tearing up at some of the heart-wrenching story lines, and just enjoying the writing of a fun author.

I was a little bit surprised at the end of book three that Lawson would be the next character to take the main stage. I mean, he's "just" the funny guy, right? Sure, he's usually the reason I'm busting up at his overtly sexual come-ons to his friends, his collection of ridiculous t-shirts, etc. etc., But him being the star of the next book? I was skeptical.

As I got reading this fourth book, I wasn't completely sold on Lawson and Lee in the beginning. I think the balance of the drama building in their relationship was off. One repetition that occurred at the end of a few too many chapters was mention of Lee's defense going down, walls breaking, and her warming up to the idea of love. This was evident in her actions, but making the statement at the end of several chapters felt like check marks instead of plot advancement. And another repeated motif was the threat of the friends taking action if Lee broke Lawson's heart, or Lawson broke Lee's. The camaraderie among the characters has always been great; these protective sentiments just felt like deja vu at times. The point of drama/struggle/conflict came eventually, but the repetition beforehand made the plot slow a little.

Though the balance of the story wasn't quite positioned where I'd like, I still really enjoyed the book. Lawson surprised me with having great depth and showing more than just his Funny Guy side. The Star Wars jokes were great, and as always in this series, the friend group is just stellar. Please tell me they're all real people so I can hang out with them or at least be an awkward fan girl on karaoke night? Lee's backstory was also well done. I don't have direct military experience, so it was really cool to hear about a woman in the Air Force and how that could potentially shape or hinder her femininity, and the steps taken to try to be an equal among men. I've said this in other reviews, but there is something I love about the heartache caused by insecurities and self-reproach. Lee's character did a great job of pulling on those heart-strings for me.

And one last point: I am absolutely psyched about reading the next book. The build-up of tension, drama, angst, and frank animosity between Noelle and Foster is fantastic. I can't wait!

PLEASE NOTE: In the past I have said something along the lines that I got to read this book for free in exchange for an honest review, but I happily paid for this book because I love this series so much. When I was flipping through Good Reads and realized book 4 was already out and could be mine, I freaked and bought it right away. And then proceeded to pre-ordered book 5. So a big thanks to the author for sharing her work with me before so as to get me hooked on her writing; plan on more purchases from me in the future!

OMG this book! I already loved Lawson Briggs from the other three stories in this series, but now I love him even more. He is the sweetest, most caring, and thoughtful guy ever. AND he's hilariously funny too! What more could you possibly want in a guy? The body? Yep, he's got that too.
When we first got to meet Langley Ford, she was quiet, observant and reserved. Slowly, but surely, Lawson brings her out of her shell. She begins to embrace her feminine side, starts joining in on the jokes, and fully immerses herself into this crazy group of friends.

I had so many emotions throughout this book. One minute I'm cringing at one of Lawson's silly t-shirts, the next I'm giggling at his Yodaisms. I even shed a few tears. Okay, maybe quite a few tears. I honestly think I have loved each of these books more and more with every one that I read. Each character becomes more lovable. I want these people in my life!

One of my fave books this year!

So, to start our journey into Book 4 of the Teach Me series, I will let you know up front that I won a paperback copy in a contest.

I received my prize and dove in. I've read books 1-3 in this series and the main character in Laws of Attraction, Langley, had been mentioned briefly in them. Her love interest Lawson has been a secondary character in an ensemble cast and featured throughout all of the previous books. I'm not gonna lie, Lawson is my favorite MC ever! (Yes Mr. Darcy, he knocked you off your pedestal, though you'll always be my first ;) ) While these characters are featured in previous novels, this book , like all the others in the series, can be read as a stand alone.

Lawson is an elementary school reading teacher with a Star Wars obsession, razor sharp wit, a ready smile, and a heart of gold. Plus he's a Cross Fit devotee, but he's not a douche about it, I gotta appreciate that. He's always going out of his way to help his friends and make them smile. That's my formula for a Prince Charming!

Langley is a former United States Air Force Combat Pararescuemen, also known as a PJ. She's had a pretty shitty life and her military career was all she had going for her until she was more or less forced out. She finds herself in Florida working for a security company and being forced to attend karaoke parties with her boss's friends. At first, she attends these outings begrudgingly, but soon the group grows on her and she begins to relax. She also finds that she's attracted to the goofy Lawson. This is something she absolutely did not want, but then again, the heart wants what it wants ;)

The book is about Langley trying to overcome her emotional baggage and her past and learning to trust her heart. Sigh! I fell for it. I absolutely loved this book. I'm giving it a 5 out of 5 stars!

I loved this book and all the others in the series because the characters are actually fairly believable. No crazy billionaires, no forbidden or taboo stuff, no secret babies, all things that make me cringe. They are a large ensemble cast of characters and each one is unique and likable. This book in particular made me laugh so hard! Puns, Sexy Yoda Talk, embarrassing Grandmas, and flighty but lovable Moms! I also love Lawson's penchant for graphic tee shirts...I share this love.

Langley is a force to be reckoned with and a strong female MC. She's a fully dimensional character, but not a total Mary Sue, which is refreshing. As a former PJ she can definitely hold her own and she can match wits with Lawson in the joke cracking department. Brains, Brawn, and Beauty...the trifecta! I would recommend this for Romance Readers with a sense of humor and nerds who like their MC Hero's to have a great sense of humor! Not for kids! Definite 18+ age range due to some sexy scenes ;)

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net** My Thoughts Laws of Attraction by R.C. Boldt is the fourth book in the adult romance teach me series. Each of the books in the Teach me series work as standalones. I have not read any of the previous three books,. but I wasn't lost at all. I will say this though, now that I have expereinced the magic of R.C. Boldt's books, I need more. I really loved Laws of Attraction.

Laws of Attraction-Teaser 3, RC BOLDT

This is why I loved this book so much. Does the above quote look like the words of a player. A guy who would not settle down for anyone? No, but he is just a big ole softie. I love it when anti- love guys are the most romantic ones of all. And the Laws of Attraction was a very romantic story. At least, it felt that way to me. I loved Lawson so much! All the way down to his goofy t-shirts. I loved him so much that I felt bad for pegging him in a certain stereotype from reading the summary, because in reality he is a giant teddy bear that would make any girl swoony. And he is hilarious.

quote card texting LOA

Bottom line: Laws of Attraction is a great read. And I mean really great. The writing is witty and chuckle worthy. The characters are swoon worthy, and the romance is melt your heart great. I really, really loved Lawson and I really really loved this book. It put R.C. Boldt on my radar in a big way. If you are a romantic at heart, this is the romance for you.

Just when you think this series can't get any better, you get Lawson Briggs!

I mean, seriously, that man's got move you only wish you had; he's got charm coming out the ying yang. He's got your back and your front. And he's always there with a smile to brighten your day.

But there is one thing that's missing from Lawson's charming life, and the minute he laid eyes on Langley Ford, he knew he's life wouldn't be complete without her. And to be on the receiving end of Lawson's undivided attention has got to be something special.

In the previous books, we got to see Lawson's funny side but this time we got to see more of man that lies beneath the surface. The reason he's the way he is and the family he came from. He's a man you can't help but fall in love with as you peel back his layers.

Langley Ford hasn't had the easiest of childhoods, and given the career choices she made, that wasn't a cake walk either. Therefore, she learned that the only person she can count on is herself. She was warned that once she took the job with Foster, there were certain events she wouldn't be able to get out of. He's got a "family" circle and she would be included within that circle.

What she didn't expect was that everyone knows everyone, and everyone is in everyone's business. They are a close knit and loving group. That is something is not used to at all.

It will take a strong man to break down the walls she has built, and Lawson believed he's just the man to do.

This book is utterly fabulous. It will have you laughing, crying, smiling, and swooning. It's a story that once you start, you can't put down. And why would you when you have Laws there is keep you company. He says things that will take your breath away because you can't believe some of the things that come out of his mouth. But be warned, when he changes the tone of his voice, and says the most delicious things to you, you'll be begging and pleading for him to make all your fantasies come true.

But really, this book is everything you have come to love about this series. It's about a group of friends that will be there for you through the good times and the bad. And because of that, you can't help but relate to Langley and her longing to belong to a "family" like this.

Laws of Attraction is a heart warming, sensual tale about two people that are different in so many ways, but together they compliment each other. They each have something to give to the other that was missing in their lives. Their's is a love that is worth fighting for.

Langley Ford grew up being told how worthless she was by the person who should have been encouraging her with love. It's affected her badly, and now she's a very serious woman who very rarely lets anyone close to her. She's busted her butt to be the one female pararescue jumper left in her class, so now works with all men. That leaves little down time for her, as she has to work doubly hard to be on top of her game, as the men just see her as weak, or are jealous of her. After letting someone close to her, who betrays her badly, she leaves the military instead of signing up for another tour. Now she's landed a job with a security consulting firm, but she still feels like she doesn't deserve anything good in her life. Lawson Briggs is a fun, and easy going hottie, who does his best to make sure all of his friends never take life too seriously. He's been watching all of his friends fall in love, and begins to seriously wonder if he'll ever fall out with the love bug. Fate steps in, and he finds himself with an instant attraction for the new girl in the office, but he didn't count on her walls of steel, that he would have demolish, to make her his. WIll Lawson teach Langley to live life again, and let herself take a chance on something great?

WOW! I DID NOT see this story coming, but I absolutely LOVED every minute of it. One thing that had me laughing hard, that I had my Yoda shirt on, while reading all the references to Star Wars,(Yes, I'm owning my inner Star Wars geek), that were AWESOME! Anyway, back to the review, the character development is fantastic, as watching Langley growing, and finding self worth was amazingly realistic, especially with the flashbacks to pivotal moments that showed how the hurt tore her down. Of course, there's the hilarious cast of secondaries that just made the story better. Lawson was definitely the well placed humor that had me laughing until my stomach hurt, but he also had flammable chemistry with Langley that finally ignited into SMOKIN' HOT sexy scene goodness that I couldn't get enough of. R.C. Boldt's talented writing style had me addicted from the beginning. Her added twists woven together with sweet romance made for a exciting read. I know that I have mentioned humor more than once, but there were many different hilarious moments of dialogue that had me laughing like a hyena, for another example, the girls trying to give Langley makeover. Anyway, I cannot wait to read more by this author, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Laws of Attraction!

Laws Of Attraction is book four in the Teach Me series and I read this as a standalone. This is also my first book by this author.

I loved Langley 'Lee' Ford's transformation. She's guarded, fiercely independent and someone who's always had to fight to earn her place within a group. So, when she accepts a job working for TriShield protection she struggles to break down her iron cast defences. She's accepted into this close-knit group as an equal, However, it's a personal adjustment more difficult than the work she previously did in the Air Force as a Combat Pararescue Jumper.

Lawson Briggs is adorable. He's cocky and confident and after finally realising his friends are all settling down, he wonders why the lovebug hasn't hit him yet. As soon as he meets Langley, he knows she's the one, but accepts it's going to take time to win her over. I love how he gave Lee the space to adapt, not only to becoming part of a close-knit social group but to accept him as a man who wants to protect, cherish and love her as a beautiful woman. His persistence is admirable and his empathy and dedication to her, as well as all his friends, is truly heartfelt.

I struggled to get into this book because I jumped into this series at book four. It's a standalone, however, if you're like me and become overwhelmed by too many secondary characters appearing within a short space of time, then I suggest you read book one first to familiarise yourself with everyone.
The Star Wars references went over my head as I've never seen any of the films, so whilst some readers will enjoy that, I didn't. Some of the humour didn't work for me either...It's probably a cultural thing. I did have some laugh out loud moments, but other humorous gestures made my eyes roll.

Overall, once I got over my personal challenges with this book, I enjoyed Laws and Lee's journey and I'm definitely interested in reading the back stories of others featured in Laws Of Attraction. All the characters are engaging and likeable and those already familiar with R.C. Boldt and this series will love and devour it.

I've got to start by saying that I love the Teach Me series and Lawson's character has been one of those characters that I was drawn to in the previous books, he's always the comic relief and creates the lightness to every situation, but you just knew that there was a deeper more meaningful character behind the jokes and laughter.

Being that this was Lawson's story I was not surprised to find this book full of humor, alliteration and puns. There were so many laugh out loud moments but also sweet, tender and endearing moments that really make your heart melt for Lawson and Lee.

Lawson is the kind of character that marches to the beat of his own drum. He's unique, fun, and goofy, but on the flip side he is also completely sweet, loyal and loving to those who mean the most to him.

Langley dubbed Lee by Lawson, is his complete opposite, but hey they say opposites attract. She is strong, and brave and has to fight for every inch she has gained in this life.
I loved this pair as friends and as a couple. I adored the banter they shared that was full of humor, but also heart. They are so different from each other her serious to his humorous but they complement each other, and bring out the best in each other.

I loved that the previous characters appeared so strongly in this book. I love that their stories all continue with each additional book in this series. It's one of the reasons why, I keep coming back for each additional book to this series, along with the fabulous and entertaining writing style of Ms. Boldt. Foster and Noelle, I cannot wait to read their story, i'm sure the sparks are going to fly!

I was not sure what I was going to think about this book. I have not read any of the other books in the series but decided to give this one a try. I am glad that I did. This book is pretty funny and it was a fast read once I got into it.

Langley (or Lee for short) was not used to having people in her life that actually care for her. There were a couple of people growing up and then there were a few people in the military. She was the first female pararescue jumper and that made her life pretty hard. While there were a lot of people that admired her accomplishments there were also so many that hated her for them. She had a hard life and it was a major adjustment for her once she started working outside of the military. Lawson (or Laws for short) is a teacher and has always had an amazing support group. He has a loving family with a hilarious grandmother and a core group of friends that always have his back. He pretty much falls for Lee from the beginning and works hard to get her to start to trust him. They have a few hiccups and it is interesting to watch them get to know each other. I love Laws. He is hilarious and I would love to have a friend like him. Plus, he is hot and a little nerdy. My perfect guy. I like Lee even though it is hard for me to relate to her in some ways.

There are a lot of people to get to know in this book. The first couple of chapters were hard because I was trying to remember who everyone was. If I had read the first couple of books in the series I am sure this would not be a problem. This really didn't make me dislike the book. I just felt like I needed to go back and reread some parts so I could remember who was who. The story was pretty good. I liked the dynamic of the group although there were parts where I was felt the others in the book were a little over the top.

I am giving this book 4.5 stars out 5. It was a fun, quick read and I really liked the characters.

In this book we follow Lawson and Langley . I love Lawson he has made me laugh so many time during this series and I was thrilled when I heard this was his book . Langley was an amazing character I loved her so much ! she has been through so much in her life and has such strength. It was amazing getting to see her emotional journey during this story .I loved these two together If I had to describe there romance in three words they would have to be sexy , sweet and swoon worthy. Langley and Lawson in a lot of ways were totally opposites but at the same time absolutely perfect for each other. It was wonderful getting to see them fall in love .RC Boldt creates so many sweet and sexy moments between these two ,I literally felt my heart turning to mush over how much I loved this couple. I am so happy that Lawson and Langley got there own happily ever after the epilogue put the biggest grin on my face.

I feel like I say this for every review I do for a Teach Me series book but I love this group of friends seeing all the characters from previous books in this series in this book made me so happy. I almost feel like there my own friends lol .

Laws of Attraction is a sweet , heartwarming , sexy , funny ( this book is so funny wait until you meet Lawson grandmother ) story .R.C.Boldt has created another fantastic contemporary romances with Laws of Attraction and I cannot wait to get my hands on her next story !! . Laws of Attraction is the fourth book in the Teach Me series. They all can be read as standalones but it is better if you read them in order.

This time its Lawsons Briggs turn to find love. Having been the joker of his group of friends for so long Lawson doesnt take life too seriously. He has but one aim: to make sure everyone around him knows how to have fun, to kick back and enjoy life....until one night he meets a girl, a girls whos eyes tell the tale of someone whos been hurt, whos suffered pain and is closed off to the whole world. Something inside Lawson shifts, but can he convince her to give him a chance and furthermore take yet another chance on love?

Langely Ford has lived a tough life, being the only woman combat pararescueman for the U.S Special Forces she had to fight tooth and nail for her right to be there. Only to be made to feel like she didnt deserve to be there by the men she served with.....and even the man she thought she loved. Upon leaving she finds herself working for Fos and being part of a group of friends that would unknowingly change her life, one man in particular has her feeling things she never thought she would again. Can she open up her heart to love again? And more importantly will she let herself lean on someone for the first time in her life?

When i first met Laws i just knew i would be laughing my way though his book, his witty one liners and tshirt designs have me cracking up. Not only is he funny, clever and hot he is also sweet, charming and just what Lee (Langley) needed to bring her out of her shell. Lee is perfect for Laws, not only is she sassy and keeps him on his toes she also gets his humor and even brings some of her own. Yet again RC Boldt has knocked it out of the park. Another sweet love story in a series that just keeps getting better and better!

5*

3.5/5 Stars!!

I'm still not sure how I feel about this book. While it is billed as a standalone and the story is Langley and Lawson's story, there are so many references to the other characters and what I assume happened in their books that admittedly, I was a bit distracted. (I have not read the other books in the series and I am guessing that would make a difference.)

Langley Ford is complicated. She has on heck of a bad past that has left her hesitant to rely on others. She is fiercely independent, not exactly open and I found her to be icy, at times.

Lawson Briggs is clearly the funny man of the group. Everything with him is a joke. That kind of made me crazy in the beginning, but his seriousness comes shining through once he makes his intentions with Langley known. From that point on, he is fiercely protective of her and it's all about her.

There is a lot of humor in this book, which I highly appreciate. Too much seriousness can be just that...too much. So, the humor was a nice balance. I found myself laughing out loud. The story wasn't really anything new, but I enjoyed it.

My issue with the book was the use of character names. The author uses both first and last names when noting the characters (i.e. Langley or Ford, Lawson or Briggs) and sometimes that happens in the same paragraph. It might just be me, but I was confused at times and wasn't sure from whose perspective the story was being told. But, this may just be me and my hang up, so don't let that deter you from buying the book. I just feel that every review should have some good and some bad.

Overall, I like the book a lot and I hope you do, too.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I Love each story in this Series and I'm so happy that Lawson got to tell his story. Langley had the worst childhood anyone could have. She pretty much had to take care of herself all her life. She was never shown the basic things like Love. So when she reached 18 she joined the Military and with the help of a friend she was taken in to a new phase of adding women to the Pararescue Jumpers. Out of all that tried she was the only women to prove she had what it takes. She did her job and she did it good, but with making a name for herself her other so call Brothers in the Military didn't like being showed up by a girl. Things happen and she left after 15 years of service. Now out in the world she really doesn't know where to go from here. Her new life will be working for TriShield Protection in FL it's run by Ex-Military and with it come a new family of friends weather you want them or not. Lawson loves his friends they are each finding love so when she meets Langley "Lee" he is hit with the one thing he didn't see coming she was his game changer. Can he show Lee that he wants to be there for her to protect her, to love her and that she isn't alone anymore. Will Lee let her protective guard down long enough to see she is worth being loved and this group of close knit friends are her family now weather she wants them are not because they will back her no matter what. Grab this book and enjoy the funny humor of Lawson and see his love for his friends but he unwavering love for Langley.

We both have not read the series. So it was surprising how many characters there were in the book right from the beginning. I would advise reading a couple more. Enjoyed the book immensely and it was a fun, light read I looked forward to.

The story is about Langley and trying to start her new life after leaving the military under terrible circumstances. People can do truly awful things without reason why. This has made Lee stand offish rightfully so. When she gets her new job, she is taken back by all the people she works with and how they are such a close knit family. It at first makes her feel a bit awkward. But I could totally understand. Lived your life alone for the most part and now thrown into a group of people that love each other like no one else. It is hard for her to let the past go. I think this story is about her trying to move forward and trust others despite the terrible people that turned their backs on her.

Lawson, oh Lawson. Are there many characters you can love more than him? Not many. Liked him right from the first time he was introduced. He is funny, sweet, adorable and is the full package. If I was in Lee's shoes, I would have been all about Lawson in 10 book minutes flat. I think he is the most caring person out of the group and it is made perfectly clear that Lee cannot break his heart.

Cannot tell you how the story unfolds but I truly loved reading this book. A great book to read even as a stand alone.

I would rate the book a 4.5 out of 5.

I struggled with this one (took to much time to read it...got distracted)... guess my expectations for Lawson were high... I loved him so much in previous books. But it was kinda expected that the story is going to be SWEET!!! (as in book 1, 2 and 3) Yes at moments to sweet. There is not to much to say about it maybe just if you looking for sweet romantic story...look no more...here you have it... start from beginning of the series and enjoy... even though the romance in this series didn't win me over(to much loovy doovy...this is not realistic...) I will be reading next book that follows the journey of this tribe of funny, awsome, witty, let's karaoke people.... All in all sweet, warm and funny read!!!

Laws of Attraction deserves way more than 5 stars! It's one I've been waiting on for a while it seems, and I knew I would love it before I even started. Throughout this series you get glimpses of Lawson and from the very first time you meet him in Wildest Dreams, you won't be able to stop from falling in love with him. He's just that friend that is funny, loyal, and can depend on when you need him. Lawson is pretty much the best character ever in my opinion. Not only does he have a hilarious personality, but he also has a very swoon worthy one too. That did surprise me. Not that I didn't think he could be sweet and charming, I just wasn't expecting to fall more in love with his character.
I also was very impressed with Langley too. She's been through a lot of things that only a woman who's determined and is independent could do. Langley is so much more than she seems though. I really admired her strength, and her willingness to do what no woman has done before.
I will say, Langley and Lawson are the best match. They just "fit" one another in a way that only you'll understand if you read the book. There's also a lot of LOL moments, and I swear people thought I was crazy as I was reading and would burst out with laughing. But that's just Lawson.
I really did enjoy this one by RC Boldt. I can't recommend her books enough and I highly recommend checking out her work. Her books are the ones you'll want to read over and over again!

Lawsons story!!! At last!!! I've been waiting (very impatiently) for this book and it didn't disappoint.
Lawson is the joker of the gang, the one who always has something funny to say, the one guaranteed to put a smile on people's faces, the one who doesn't take himself too serious... but this book shows a deeper side to him and I loved it. He's finally ready to grow up (just a little) and settle down like his friends.
Langley is the opposite of Lawson. The former PR is serious, never one to put herself out there, she prefers to stay in the back ground. Having been burnt in the past she has no intention of opening herself up to any man again.
With Lawson determined to be the one to make Langley break out of her shell, he slowly starts worming his way under her skin.
I loved watching Langleys character really start to shine, Lawson as always is just perfect ("You don't seem to need anything... Or anyone. But Hell, if I don't still want to be the one person you do need".) and with the rest of the 'interfering' friends there to help them along the way, this is another addictive, funny, sweet book in this series. Lawsons grandma is hysterical in this book. One of my favourite characters. Now I'm dying for Foster and Noelle's story. You just know it's gonna be off the charts hot.

I waited anxiously for Lawson Briggs.. RC Boldt did not disappoint!!

I had a feeling Lawson's book was going to be THE book for me.. Lawson blew Mac out of the teach me book boyfriends.. Sorry Mac!!

I've read this series since the very beginning.. I have loved every book, I may have a slight obsession wth these books. Each one gets better and better. I'm so glad that I have watched this author's writing style grow with each book. Laws of Attraction was phenomenally written.

Lawson Briggs, the joker of the group, the one who makes everyone laugh. I loved him from the very first time we met him in Raine and Mac's book.. Wildest Dreams and my love for him grew with each and every scene he was in. Then came his book and I knew we were going to see a different side to Laws. I was right, we did. it was a side that made it an absolute no-brainer that Laws is the Teach me series book boyfriend.

Langley Ford. She is a tough lady, I love her strength. Her and Laws are completely different but they work so very well. I love how they are together. They make sense.

I love that this series includes so much of the side characters. The previous couples are back!! Which makes me so happy.

I Love Love LOVE this book!! Honestly can't praise it high enough!!
