Give and Take
Addison Fitzpatrick settled her first favor, a cataclysmic repayment that ended with hundreds of Pushers dead. Three months later, she receives a letter from the Vampire who betrayed her trust, asking her to save him.
The cryptic letter makes one fact perfectly clear – she has to find Lachlan, assuming he’s not already dead. In doing so, she is forced to do the one thing he asked her not to: involve Cannon.
But the search for Lachlan comes with a price. Addison is forced deeper into her debt, just as her life is put in jeopardy when a new danger surfaces. One from her past, stirring up inner demons threatening to take her back to hell.

Awesome story. Awesome writer. Can't wait to see what's next for Addison!
Deeper into debt she goes to find and help Lachlan. But will what she find be worth the debt? Lots of feelings grow in this story, and they are just shiver-shake wonderful.

I absolutely love Emily Cyrs imaginative,creative and devious mind.I have read books 1 and 2 in a day and a half.I was sucked into the story like I was there.I swear I feel like I'm in the book when I read.Love! LOVE IT !

Loved as much as the first!!
This is a great continuation to Addison’s story. Favorite quote, “a few steaks shy of a cow!” The end had me screaming at my kindle screen just like people yell at characters in a horror movie!! Don’t go in there!!!

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?
Addison hasn't lost her attitude! She just can't shut up.. even if her life depends on it. I love it! She is such a spit fire! There was a lot of action. The story flowed quickly, and I was done reading before I knew it. We get to know Cannon a little better this time, and I have to say, grew on me a lot through this story. I mean, he had that whole bad boy appeal from the first book, but now that I've gotten to know him a little better? He tries to hide parts of himself, and I like when bit start to sneak out. Some of the moments between Cannon and Addison were completely intoxicating. So, it's become somewhat of a triangle, and I'm okay with that, but I'm glad I'm not Addison. Because, well, yeah... I don't know who I'd choose either.

Vampires are a huge favorite of mine and this series is FANG-TASTIC! This is book two in the Vampire Favors amazing series. This time around Addison finds herself deeper in debt to sexy hot Cannon Blackwood (I so love his name). When Cannon's bro Lachlan turns up missing, she goes out on a limb and asks for the master vamps help.
We introduce some new characters...Rat, who is a pusher and his tubby twin brother Twinkie, Evie, a bat-shit crazy witch and Merriam, a very old vampire....also nuttier than a fruitcake. Plus there are a couple baddies to add to the mix....a very scary decomposing creature with intense powers and someone mysterious known as, "the money man" among other things.
This book had all kinds of stuff going on that really makes the reader think. I love stories like this.....trying to figure out WTH is going on and who all the bad guys are. Our author has quite the sense of humor, so this book had me laughing a lot. Addison is forever forgetting to engage her filter and continuously blurts out things at the most inopportune times. Could not put this book down. The first book was good but this one was great. I was so convinced Addy should pick Lachlan after book #1, but book #2 showed another side to Cannon. I think he tries to be better when she's with him so now the love-triangle is harder than ever to break. The end was heart-breaking. I can't wait to read the next one.

Loved it....
I loved it..... I don't love how some of things "ended" per say.... Especially her relationship status but at the same time,I can't say things didn't feel true.... I'm not the writer of course,( for one thing I'm W A Y too much of a romantic and needing even in a continuing series,I'm too needy in the HEA department to leave things at least w/Addison's relationships where they currently stand) ... I'm honestly torn when it comes to Addison and her Men, I mean the Cannon is this book wasn't quite the same Cannon from the last,we got to see a different side of him that wasn't soo cold and aloof, that had me rooting for them together, but then when things together k the turn they did w/ Lachlan ? His last words to her had me wanting to cry.... I believe it's that combined w/ the loss of her friend that has the book ending where it does.... My HEA/HFN loving and needing heart is breaking for Addy where she is when the book ends, I'm worried about her and the consequences of where her pain has lead her...
Who will be there to catch her ,from what looks to be one big and painful ass fall.... For me the ending this time was more painful that the last,but I loved this installment,felt very true to everything started in the last book.... I'm gonna enjoy my book hangover as bittersweet as it is,as least unlike the last book I read ( where I ranted on until I was finally cut off w/out truly explaining why the book annoyed and bothered me soo) at least time it's because I NEVER wanted the book to end NOT because I could wait for it to having given on ever getting to the " good part" ,except for me parts I'm still inwardly weeping over still this had nothing but Good parts for me,but even the sad parts I Hate felt inevitable..... I just wish a few things, 1) I knew how Lachlan knew what he knew that thing, that Addison did, the thing that I'm sure is he said he did we broke both my heart and Addison's ,
2) I also wish Lachlan hadn't said what he did to her and 3) I wish I behind at least 3 or 4 books behind on this series soo I could just go to the next book and not hurting for who knows how long for "Fight or Flight" to come along.... But of all the hurts I currently have in my life at the moment,this is definitely one the better one... Thank you!!! Thank you Ms.Cyr for the wonderful time!!! I can't wait til I'm invited back into your world!!!

The Vampire Favors series is getting more and more interesting with each book. Give and Take is the 2nd book, and it doesn’t disappoint. Exciting and full of action, this book will keep you on your toes.
Cyr’s characters keep growing and growing. We see different aspects of Cannon than we did in the first book. It doesn’t change my dislike of him though. I still want to throat punch him. He is, however, a necessary evil. Addison is…well, Addison. She is still snarky and fun, but tortured at the same time. I’m really curious as to what she is going to do in the next book. Cyr has definitely given her a dilemma that only she can work out.
One cool thing about this book is the introduction of an unusual supernatural being that I haven’t heard much of before. I’m not telling you what it is though. Just know that the shit is getting deep in the world of Addison Fitzpatrick.

OMFG!!! This book was amazing and I can not wait to read the next one because the ending of this one just left me hanging something serious!
It made me laugh and get angry and cry, I was freaking everywhere emotionally and when you think it might settle down it just gets going again! Seesh talk about reading HEAVEN. I DID NOT want it to turn out the way it did, but hopefully in the next one things go more in my way of thinking! By the way..TOTALLY on team Lachlan!! Cannon is still just as amazing, but the bad boy always wins out in the end for me apparently!!

This was just as good, if not better, than the first book. It was intense and full of suspense. You get a better look at some of the characters that weren't really a major part in the first book, even though they were heavily referenced. Without giving anything away, you also see more into somebody's past than you did before. It made me feel for them even more than I already did. That's saying a lot since they were already in my feels. I love the characters. I love the series. I can't wait to see this continue. She kind of reminds me of a paranormal Stephanie Plum. Well, she's more bold than Stephanie Plum ever was, but still. I fully recommend this book and Push And Pull. I'm waiting on pins and needles for the third book!

I was expecting another rollar coaster ride. But this one was more calm. Although Lachlan is missing this gives us a closer look into the cold hearted yet sexy panty-melting Cannon. We got to find out what makes him tick. How he came about. And what exactly he wants with Addison. But one a line is crossed it can never be undone. And when someone makes the choice for her it throws everything down the drain. What will Addison do......I've been screaming at her to not be so stupid and praying someone gets their in time to save her!!!

Give and Take is as awesome as Push and Pull and that is saying something big. Fast paced, emotional, and hot, this urban fantasy hits all the notes and plays its own music. I strongly recommend reading the books in order.

I hate waiting
