This was my first "big girl" dentist appointment. I have been going to a Pediatric Dentist for 20 years. I went next door to Dr. Wacker for 20 years and I absolutely loved it. It was weird to branch out and leave that office. It was time to find a new dentist.I just went to my new dentist on Monday and I have to say I loved Dr. Duper and my dental hygienist Teri Bennett! If your ever looking for a great dentist, I highly suggest Teri Bennett for your hygienist! My whole family sees her and they love her!

I had a pleasant experience with this dental office. I had a cleaning and a crown replaced. The experience I had was very positive, so I referred my mom. She however did not have a good experience. She felt belittled by the hygienist and receptionist. I felt so bad about her unpleasant experience, that I don't plan on returning. I referred her thinking this facility would take care of her needs, which was not the case.
Office staff:
Please don't treat people differently just because they have had money spent on their mouth or not. She is still a person.
I wanted to take care of her just as she always looked out for me when I was younger and had braces, an implant, and crowns done. She spent all her money on me, and as a single parent, she couldn't afford to take care of herself. I was attempting to return the thankfulness I feel towards her, but your staff members did not allow for that to happen.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Negative 10 stars rating if possible. The billing here is messed up. Their website lists many insurance that they take and my insurance is also on that list. When I told them my dental insurance, they didn't tell me right off the bat that they are only in contract with three insurance: risk management, delta and signa until they rendered me a lot of services and then months later they billed a huge amount saying that I was not in network and demanded me to be responsible to pay for the whole thing without them taking any responsibility for not informing me in the first place. They take away the patients' ability to choose their dental care. They made false estimates and gave me false insurance estimate coverage information to get me start on treatments then told me that I was out of network.
They had multiple opportunities to tell me that I was out of network across 5 months and multiple office visits, but they chose not to. I have a primary and a secondary full dental insurance and because of their mistakes, they want me to pay for basic dental care, X-rays and misinformed/falsified estimates out of pocket. I spoke to the biller who initially was understanding when I came into the office with my male friend as a witness, but on the phone when I called to follow up, she told me that 5% cash discount was all she could offer, and she would talk to the office manager. After reading other Yelp reviews, I don't have a good feeling that the office manager is any better at taking responsibility and not putting the blame on the patient. I have many evidence to prove that they are at fault. The biggest issue is making patients responsible for the mistake that the clinic employees made. Hiring bad employees is a clinic problem and that mistake should not be passed on to innocent patients who came to seek care.
I was a patient here for 6 years, but starting in March of 2022, this clinic has changed a lot. Other reviewers mentioned that ownership was recently changed. Anyone who wants to come here should consider going somewhere else. Multiple people have had similar "out of network" issues and there's an obvious pattern.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Delilah M.Lake Forest, CA011847Jul 18, 2022
Ever since Dr. Dupper sold his practice, this office has become a total joke. The owner, Dr. Welebur is highly unprofessional and his staff has run a muck. The doctor made a seriously unprofessional remark about me while he thought I was incapacitated by laughing gas. I hear him and I comprehended his rude remark.
Fast forward to TWO years later and I received a statement claiming I owe a balance. My husband called to rectify. I have superb insurance and pay my portions at the end of each visit. The bill was disputed and the office manager apologized and stated they have a new billing system that has glitched. They ASSURED my husband they would zero out the balance as we did not owe anything. Since that phone call I have had no less that three more statements claiming I still owe the BOGUS amount. THE STAFF IS RUDE AND UNACCOMMODATING TO THEIR OWN FAULTY SYSTEM. I am contemplating contacting the state dental board and filing a formal complaint of unprofessional conduct and dental fraud.
7/19/2022 I received a call from the "manager". Her rude and condescending attitude definitely did more damage to the already frustrating situation their billing department caused. She now claims we owe $61.00 after repeated employees stated it was a glitch in their billing change over system. These petty people want to be right and not actually serve their customers. She claims that I was given incorrect information by employees no longer working there, as if I can challenge that false statement. Passing the blame as a business owner is not a good look for a business. I will NEVER use this office again and am considering filing a complaint with the dental board.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 1 - S K.Redlands, CA033Feb 16, 2023Updated review
This used to be a great, first rate dental office. However, since Dr. Duper left and the office sold, I found the new staff to be unprofessional. It's now more like a big business chain instead of the caring doctors who used to work there.

CharlotteAug 9, 2022Previous reviewEver since Dr. Dupper sold his practice, this office has gone downhill. I received a bill for services performed over 4 years ago. I have called multiple times only to be told Candace is not in the office but looking at my file. When I called today to insist on talking to a manager or owner I was transferred to Ahsley who is neither. She told me I could not talk to the owner as he lives in Las Vegas and owns a number of facilities. She was condescending, rude and hung up on me. When I tried to call back to speak with someone else, no one picked up the phone.
Because of the proximity to the Loma Linda University dental school, there are hundreds if not thousands of well-trained local dentists, so there is no reason to go here and be insulted by the staff or be riffed off by them. - Ed R.Riverside, CA13110Nov 11, 2019
Very unprofessional. Had a temp filling put in, was never followed up on. Had the Deep Cleaning done, of course everyone needs a deep cleaning now a days. Just a money grab. Billing was all messed up. Actually had to tell them I hadn't paid yet. Then received a bill in the mail 3 months later after I had already paid. They called me for a follow up cleaning for an appointment. Two days before they called me to confirm the appointment, I informed the girl that I had to cancel and would call when I could reschedule. Her reply was "Have a good one" and she hung up on me. Yeah like after that I'm gonna go back there smh...

All of the dentists and staff there are friendly and welcoming. I had 6 cavities that had to be filled, and they broke them up into two appointments. I didn't feel a thing! Dr. Jesse was amazing! Through, and explained everything every step of the way. Making an appointment was easy, definitely recommend.

I'm not sure if anyone else has written a review of this place, but here goes.
In a separate review of another dentist, I confessed how much I loathe the barbaric, at times violent practice of dentistry and most dentists in general. I'm sure most people do, let's face it, it's painful and expensive. After not having gone in 15 years or more (I know...bad girl) I've taken very good care of my choppers, regardless. This dental office is covered in my limited dental plan so I came in for a cleaning, which was AWESOME and then the usual x-rays and dental plan. It was time for action because I knew I had some serious issues going on.
I was happy to learn that after all these years, there wasn't as much work needed as I originally thought. I needed two retreats for badly done root canals (for one, it was the fourth re-treat!), both of which I had done at another facility (see that review, as well) and then I came back for final treatment and to be fitted for crowns. I received the temps, and just got the permanent crowns last week. Temps suck no matter what, and these were somewhat uncomfortable, but much more comfortable than prior. After the work performed and a couple hours in the dental chair, Dr. Dupper (the younger) called my cell and gave me a separate number to call in case I had any problems after business hours. I've never had a dentist do that and it made me feel like he really cared that I,and all his patients are okay.
I've had so many issues in the past with ill-fitting crowns. They're usually too high so it feels like I have a wad of bubble gum in my mouth and have been told by prior dentists to just "live with it" or "well, that's what our impression showed." Nice. At one point, I finally dug the damned thing out and pulled it off because the other side of my mouth had no contact, and that's what finally brought me here.
Dr. Dupper is a very nice, caring and personable dentist. While cementing my permanent crowns, he could tell I had some pain, and offered a shot to ease it, but I declined because the discomfort was better than those darned shots! And to be honest, it wasn't as much pain as just discomfort.
He answered all my questions, explains his procedures, and won't let you leave until he knows you're happy with how your mouth feels. And as much as you have to be happy, so does he. He's very meticulous and a real perfectionist even with so many patients and a busy office. Their staff will even follow up with calls to see how you're doing, which is a very nice touch. Maybe it's part of their job, a little extra caring in dentistry goes a very long way.
If you have to go to a dentist, or are looking for a new one, even if you haven't been in a while, please consider Dr. Dupper's office. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and from the outside it looks like everyone really likes working there, which is rare in the medical field.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brianna W.Highland, CA68121Mar 27, 2018
The doctors and staff and wonderful! I recently went to another office where they spent all but 5 min cleaning my teeth and made me feel like I was wasting their time. Then I switched to this office. Lia is my hygienist and she did a thorough cleaning and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Reimann and Lia are awesome! I finally feel like I'm at an office where they actually care about my oral health.

Had to make an emergency dental appt on sunday. Dr. Reimann gladly came in and was amazing! I have phobia with doctors and needles. He put me at ease. He checked on me that night and next morning which is unheard of. I feel like he has the best bedside manner I have ever encountered. I highly recommend him. He is my dentist for life!!
