This week's colors were pretty challenging for me. What was I thinking when I picked them?!?! I hope you'll play along, and I hope inspiration comes easier to you than it did for me!
I wanted to use my new Stitched Scallop Basic Edges dies, but didn't have any DS paper in Dapper Denim for my bottom layer. After a false start with a different plan (don't ask!), I pulled out my Irresistibly Yours paper and sponged it with a Mini Smoothies sponge and Dapper Denim ink.
I stamped off with Melon Mambo and Dapper Denim ink for the first layers of the multi-layer flowers, and used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for precise placement of the next layers with full-strength ink. Die cut all the flowers and leaves, and arranged them on the card. Stamped the greeting in Dapper Denim ink, tied a bow, and popped that layer up on foam tape on a white, top-folding card base.
Thanks for stopping, and please play along with us this week!

Barbara, I LOVE this - your cluster of flowers is so precious and the layout with the scalloped border is so eye-catching - and great call on the specialty dsp ( I always forget that I have that!)

I had a chuckle when I read that you chose the colours and they challenged you. Barbara it sure doesn't look like it was a challenge, everything about this is so lovely.
