A couple of record low temperatures set earlier this morning. Islip reached a morning low of 33 degrees which breaks the old record of 34 set back in 2002. JFK reached a morning low of 37 degrees which ties the previous record of 37 previously set back in 1967.

A record low of 33 degrees was tied at the Trenton-Mercer Airport near Trenton, New Jersey this morning as of just before 6 AM. The record of 33 was previously set in 1919 at the Weather Bureau office formerly located in downtown Trenton.
