Qatar is by no means safe from the danger of Iranian regime and the Muslim Brotherhood. These two parties, after being empowered, will change Qatar to a plaything in their hands and the scene for their operations.
The recent crisis between three Gulf countries and Qatar wasn’t the first trigger for starting serious talks about the future of the Gulf Cooperation Council and resistance against the two projects of the Iranian regime and the political Islam. The Iranian regime is represented by the Jurist Leadership [Velayat-e-Faqih] and its supreme leader, and the political Islam by the Muslim Brotherhood and its leader. Before the current crisis, we had witnessed several major crises – the latest one was the tension in the relationships between Gulf States and Qatar in 2014, and the way these two abused the issue.
There is no doubt that the Muslim Brotherhood and the Jurist Leadership have many conjunctions, and there are many convergences in their visions and goals. This harmony is far from their religious and ideological differences. The Muslim Brotherhood and the Jurist Leadership regime are both targeting political systems in the region, they also seek to weaken and inflict damages on the political sovereignties in the region through different methods and tools. The Iranian regime is working to spread the ideology of the Jurist Leadership, create terrorist cells and establish a Shiite state based on ‘Mahdism’ over the ruins of the region after destroying it. At the same time, the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to promote Sunnite, Islamic political thoughts, to recruit members, add fuel to activities against current political regimes, create doubts about their legitimacy, and promote attachment to this group and its leader. In addition, these two groups are in contact with radical groups, and take measures to add fuel to religious differences. Of course, the relationship between these two parties with radical organizations is not merely for ideological reasons; it is because they use radical ideas for their political projects and realizing them. Iran exploits these differences as an opportunity for its own advantage while feeding on tensions and using them to realize its own plan. Iran disrupts the existing alliances, and then isolate and destroy each country at a time. The Muslim Brotherhood follows the approach of creating and expanding differences and using provocative measures in the field of politics, media, and thoughts. This group sometimes pretend to be a savior, and sometimes a sympathetic friend.
The observers of these issues and provocative measures of Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood before the heightening of tension between Qatar and Gulf states can see that both of them have similar views especially in the field of media and social network. For example, Iran sometimes pretends to be the only savior and the most important outlet for Qatar’s political regime and tries to control and drag Qatar’s establishment towards its own policies. Of course, Iran has done this before. But now Iran is acting more intelligently. In other words, to cover its provocative measures in other fields, Iran talks of willingness for creating diplomatic ways for solving the crisis.
Followers of Muslim Brotherhood and their “thoughtless supporters” have deafened our ears with beating the drum of injustice at times and other times with the direct provocative measures against the countries that have put sanctions on Qatar. They repeat Iran’s words but in a different religious form. Just as Tehran pretends to be the only Islamic country committed to religious teachings and helping the poor, the Muslim Brotherhood also introduces Qatar as the only Arab, Islamic country that helps oppressed nations. Some have gone further and claimed that “Qatar government is the only standard bearer of ‘tawhid’, and the fact that Qatar is being accused by its enemies is a cause of proudness.”
Now let us get back to the issue of the GCC’s future in the shadow of the two projects by the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran.
Certainly, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood are trying to disrupt the Gulf Cooperation Council and creating war among the GCC members is one of the evil goals of these two parties. They are now taking the side of Qatar government to follow their own goals, while Qatar has become the Trojan Horse for the political projects of Iran and Muslim Brotherhood. It seems that Doha has actually fallen into the trap of Iran’s project quickly and has become its supporter. Doha has considerably approached Tehran and has also become the spokesperson of the Muslim Brotherhood while using all its potentials to secure this group’s interests.
Qatar is by no means safe from the danger of Iranian regime and the Muslim Brotherhood. These two parties, after being empowered, will change Qatar to a plaything in their hands and the scene for their operations. Under such conditions, Qatar cannot reduce their power or get rid of their evil plans, and most damages will be inflicted to Qatar people that will continue for decades.
