    Charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully air-conditioned villa on three floors situated in a pretty square with free WiFi, football, tennis and basketball courts, a choice of 2 pools and within walking distance of the fantastic sandy beach! In addition, both the Gran Alacant Tourist Train and the local bus service stop outside the urbanisation and the local nature reserve El Clot is just across the road!

    The air-conditioned lounge has been thoughtfully and stylishly designed by the owners with cool and calming colours and features a 2 seater and a 3 seater leather sofa, nest of tables, lamp, large mirror, side table and pictures.  In addition to the air-conditioning, there are also two ceiling fans for your added comfort. For your entertainment there is a 32" flat screen TV (with some UK terrestrial and Satellite channels), DVD player, CD music system and a large range of CDs, DVDs and paperbacks for your enjoyment during your stay. Plus there is free WiFi throughout the villa.

The best part with this accommodation is definitely the rooftop terrace! Sun from morning to evening. Bed in master bedroom really comfortable, the bathroom fresh and clean, the living room could perhaps benefit from a dining table, especially wintertime when dining outside is not usually an option? (We brought the table from the terrace inside!) There are nice paintings and mirrors on many of the walls. Kitchen has everything one would need.  Location good if you want to be near the beach. Pools on the property were not open for use during our stay (end of Jan to beg of March). It was low season, which could also be noticed by opening hours, for example for the mini market around the corner. Good to know, because I had thought to go and buy my breakfast when I arrived at 6 in the evening, but the mini market was already closed for the day. Guy, the property manager, was so kind that he insisted to drive me to the Commercial Centre to do my shopping! Guy was really helpful and kind! It was our first time in Gran Alacant. Easy to book with Alicante Holiday Villas - would do it again!

This is our second time booking with Alicante Holiday Villas. Can't recommend them enough! We stayed in property 490 on this occasion. Was a lovely house, very clean and very well equipped. The urbanisation was lovely gated community. Guy the keyholder was fantastic. Very informative and extremely helpful. We have booked again for October but in different accommodation, as we like a change.

What can I say about property number 490 other than an unbelievable place. Location is excellent - right next to beach and bus services. Pool within 45 seconds and onsite restaurant within 1 minute. Everything you need in a property was included. English TV channels when you wanted some chill out time, plenty of DVDs also. Cooker, hob, washing machine and dryer also available if required. A great veranda for eating out the front and a wonderful roof terrace for some sun or even having a glass of beer. We were a family of 4 from Kerry in Ireland and had a great time in Gran Alacant. Key holder Guy is a true gentleman. Taxi driver dropped us a bit away but when I rang Guy he knew where we were without us even knowing where we were and came over to us. He organised and dropped me for a car hire during our holiday and also organised taxi back to airport. Service at its best, we say "Thank You Guy." So Carabassi centre has plenty of good restaurants but I think the onsite restaurant tops them all. Service with a smile - not perfect English language but exceptional food. We visited many places Santa Pola, Alicante, Water Park and Animal park (Rio Safari), Guadalest plus many different beaches. Must say that the Urbanisation was perfect and so quiet and safe with a key required for gated access. Pool was great we only used the big one but lifeguard on all the time and need key to get in and out so perfect for small ones. Overall a wonderful experience and Alicante Holiday Villas were a joy to work with from beginning to end. We will be back to Gran Alacant and most likely 490 if it is available. Thanks for everything.

Stayed here June 2019. Loved this villa and its location, being so close to the beach is fantastic. The urbanisation itself is absolutely lovely - well maintained and peaceful with the added bonus of the restaurant/bar on site which also has a small shop which is great. Locally there are some great bars and restaurants just 5 minutes away. Guy the keyholder was fantastic, really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The villa is kept to a high standard, Guy puts your mind at ease from start to finish that if you needed any help with anything he was on hand to help which is very reassuring. We have used Alicante Holiday Villas for a few years now and have stayed in quite a few of their properties, cannot fault any of them, including this one. The booking process from start to finish is so straightforward and we've enjoyed every holiday we have booked. Mark is just great and provides a 1st class service with fantastic rental properties. 5 Star all the way!

The villa was lovely, spotlessly clean, the decor was tasteful and the facilities were excellent. Electricity is charged separately but we understand that people could abuse the privilege of the air conditioning if it was included in the price. We paid just over £15 for nine days which is pretty reasonable. The very best thing about this villa was the property manager, Guy. He was far and away the best we have ever had in 10 years of holiday apartments in this area. He was there on time with our keys despite our very late arrival, (late flight from Liverpool). He was there straight away when we asked for help and he is such a lovely person, both considerate and helpful. It’s invaluable to have such a reliable, accessible contact. Our advice is to take good quality anti mozzie protection with you. We will most certainly go back to this apartment again.

Property in very good location, close to beach with bus stop/s outside gates to take you to Santa Pola and Alicante. Very nice house with all the facilities and equipment you could need. Internet and UK television worked well throughout our stay. Would book this property again. It was our first holiday at Costa Hispania and we were delighted with the Spanish style and liked the shop, cafe facility. Very good located property with just about everything you need. No hassle holiday from booking to meeting up with key holder. Very quiet peaceful location and spent a lot of time on rooftop terrace. Fans and icon work well with heatwave we had. Minor point but would have liked a water filter fitted to save carrying water from shop. We have had one in other villas and well worth it. We will however definitely look to return to this property. Excellent bars and restaurants also in a short walk and very welcoming.

We received an excellent and warm welcome from Guy the keyholder upon our arrival, then a complete and professional tour of the villa which has all the necessary equipment including a welcome book with all the information needed for a successful holiday. Situated in an ideal location this house is very comfortable, practical and decorated with style and taste. All the details match the website exactly, and Guy is always available quickly if needed. An excellent week in a relaxing atmosphere amongst the colours of Spain.

We have booked via Alicante Holiday Villas several times however have not had Guy as our key contact in Gran Alacant. I would especially book a villa if I knew Guy was the key holder. Guy was delightful. He was genuinely interested in helping you have a fantastic holiday by giving you information on the area and villa. He felt like a old friend waving us off, even though we had only met him a few times. Thank you Guy, you are such a gent. We decided to book this villa this year as it was very near the beach. It is definitely the closest accommodation area to the beach, the beach was 5 minute walk which was fab. Carabassi beach is lovely, clean with lovely Blue Monkey Beach Bar. Great energy on beach with people however plenty of room for you to find a nice spot. By the villa there are a lot of restaurants to eat in, serving good food. We especially enjoyed Tres Besos for steak, as well as Patagonia. There are also family friendly bars. However the great thing about Gran Alacant is there are several areas to eat/drink so you never get bored. If you want to go to the Gran Alacant commercial centre (shops/supermarkets/restaurants/bars) the urban bus picks you up right outside the gates to the complex and takes approximately 5 mins (1.50 Euro each). You also have Masa Square and Sierra Mar as well as bars near the new market. We love Gran Alacant as it's a chilled out holiday and it's not commercialised with rowdy people. The villa was brilliant if you want accommodation near the beach, it's in a gated Spanish community however we felt comfortable there. The local kids would come and practice their English whilst selling cake. The pool was pleasant and it was great to use the out side showers after the beach. The villa was a terraced villa with pleasant out door balcony which we used for breakfast/afternoon snack. We used the roof in early evening for a pre-drink before going out. The roof is compact but well designed with 4 sturdy sun loungers and table and 4 chairs. The villa's air con was very good and also the ceiling fans were excellent. We used less than £30 in electricity charges over 11 nights which I thought was reasonable. If you are frugal then your electricity charge would be nominal. As the nearest medium sized supermarket (Unide) is a 20 -25 minute walk uphill, I would suggest taking a travel wheeled bag as this helps however the busses are regular if you prefer to use public transport. There is a small local shop 5 minutes walk from the villa (within the Carabassi bar strip). You also have the large supermarkets at the Gran Alacant centre (5 mins by bus). If you are after a villa right near the beach then book this one.

Our second visit to Gran Alacant but our first at Costa Hispania 2. The accommodation was just as we hoped and expected it to be with a fully functional kitchen, Wi-Fi and safe deposit, a lovely terrace and a powerful air-conditioning system. The keyholder Guy is both generous and helpful. He and his wife went out of their way to make our holiday special, which was greatly appreciated. The property is perfectly situated between the beach and the restaurants and the pool was perfect for our two year old boy who spent roughly 30 percent of his holiday playing at the shallow end. We happily recommend this property to anyone considering the area for their vacation.

This was our 5th visit to Gran Alacant and the whole experience from booking to departure back to the UK was fantastic, as always. The villa was fantastic, in the beautiful setting of Costa Hispania, it's like a little Spanish village, very close to the beach and 2 of our favourite restaurants at Carabassi bars. The keyholder Guy was very helpful and friendly and we would have not hesitated to call him if we needed to. The accommodation was lovely and clean with a great private roof terrace. It had everything we needed. Can't wait for our next visit!!

We had a great stay in Costa Hispania 2. We have been to Gran Alacant before so know the area, so being much closer to the beach, shops and restaurants was fantastic. The weather was great the apartment was great, the roof terrace had sun all day and was a great place to have a BBQ and dinner. The pools in the complex were very good. We will definitely book through you again, very easy, very efficient and Guy the property manager was very professional, efficient, friendly and helpful.

Apartment was great, very Spanish feel to the complex. Very well equipped, every utensil you could ever need. Fantastic roof terrace with good sized BBQ. Close to a fab range of bars & restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Guy, thekeyholder, was very helpful. Having stayed in Gran Alacant a number of times, this was the best situated apartment we have stayed in. If you fancy spoiling yourself try a day bed at the Life Beach Club on the beach - amazing!
