Every four years in February, we get an extra 24 hours to celebrate Leap Day.
To make the most out of this extra day, I’ve rounded up a list of freebies, travel and dining deals being offered on Monday and through the end of the week in some instances.
Some deals are just for the lucky few born on Feb. 29. If you’re one of those who only officially age twice a decade or so, bring an ID to claim the goods.

Caribou Coffee: Buy one handcrafted beverage and get another for 29 cents on Monday.
CheapOAir.com: 30 percent off airline tickets booked through the travel portal through Monday with promo code WORLD30.
Einstein Bros. Bagels: Coupon for $1 off any purchase on Monday.
Fort Lauderdale Marriott Pompano Beach Resort & Spa: The hotel, at 1200 N. Ocean Blvd., has two deals.

McCoy’s Oceanfront, the hotel’s casual restaurant, is offering a three-course Leap Year menu for $29 per person. Entrees include Miso-glazed salmon and roasted chicken breast with maple-pomegranate glaze. Call 954-782-0100.
Hard Rock Cafe: Leap Day babies get a free meal at participating locations on Monday. Options include a free Legendary Burger, Twisted Mac, Chicken and Cheese or Leggie Veggie, among other items on the Leap Day Menu. No purchase or coupon is necessary.
HoneyBaked Ham: Classic Ham sandwich for $2.29 with coupon good on Monday only.
Krispy Kreme: Buy any dozen and get another Original Glazed dozen for $2.29 at participating locations on Monday with a Facebook offer.
Miami Seqauraium: On Feb. 29, get free admission if your birthday is on Leap Day(with ID); half off admission if you birthday is on the 29th of any month; $29.99 admission on Feb. 29 with online ticket purchase or 29 percent off animal encounters on Feb. 29. Olive Garden: Get four free Dolcini desserts valued at more than $17 with a coupon good Monday through Sunday. The offer is one coupon per check.
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion with purchase on Monday.
Pizza Hut: Free, one topping, carry-out personal pan pizza for Leap Day babies on Monday with ID at participating locations.
Quiznos: Coupon for $1 off a sub or salad; expires March 10.
Royal Caribbean: Three-day Leap Day sale offers 30 percent off each passenger on all ships (excluding China departures), 50 percent reduced deposits and up to $100 in onboard credits. The deal ends Monday.
SunSentinel.com: Unlimited digital access for 29 cents a week for four weeks with code SS454 on Monday only.
Travelocity.com: 30 percent off bookings through Monday.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe: Club Tropical members get a 24-ounce Classic Smoothie for $2.29. It’s free to sign up. Plus get a welcome coupon for a 99 cent smoothie with purchase of a wrap.
Villa Italian Kitchen: Free slice of pizza at shopping mall locations for Leap Day babies born on Feb. 29 with ID. One per customer.
Xtreme Action Park: Free indoor ropes course valued at $20 on Monday at the center at 5300 N. Powerline Road, Fort Lauderdale.
