I recently read Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot. I'm a TheRiot Fan from way back. In my humble opinion this is her best work yet. I love the characters she created and how they overcome their insecurities (the same ones a ton of people face everyday) to find a little magic in their stocking.

My first review is for Snowflakes, Exes and Ohs by Melanie James.....I had the honor of receiving an ARC from the author and I gotta tell you..this a great read!

What do you get when you cross a hot Navy serviceman with a beautiful female cop? Sparks...lots of them.
This book grabbed me from the very first commitmentphobe description of Dylan Parker. He's the guy every girl lusts after, yet he runs like Forest Gump from a stable relationship. After his high school graduation, Dylan can't make it out of town fast enough. He selfishly pursues his penchant for leaving the small town doldrum and his high school sweetheart - not even giving her the courtesy of a goodbye.

Flash forward six years, and as fate would have it, he's brought home by a family issue and this is where the saying, 'there's no place like home' comes full circle.

Enter Abbbie, the girl he ditched after graduation to find his purpose in life. She's a grown woman now and has a career as a police officer, not to mention a hot partner by the name of Jason. Is he more than just a partner to Abbie? And who is this 'dog' named Emmie that Abbie refers to?

Like the pairing of fine wine to a delicious meat, this book will whet your pallet and leave you hungry for more.
The man you think is Dylan Parker will go three hundred and sixty degrees. He made me want to slap him silly at times, at others, I wanted to give him a motherly hug and sob.
This book...is truly a holiday delight...Melanie James has indeed given us her version of a Mischief Under the Mistletoe-worthy story, complete with tears, smiles and above all - tingles.

My next review is for It's A Marshmallow World by Diane Rinella. Again, I had the honor to receive an ARC from the author. This story is a heartwarming look at a quirky girl named Darla who dances to her own tune - always true to herself. She has a great group of girlfriends, an amazing family, including her Gram Gram, who I want to be like (this lady colors outside the lines and I loved that) but the one thing that's missing is that special 'someone' in Darla's life.
Enter Chris. A chance meeting at a local bar seemingly has Darla thinking he's the one for her, but on their first date, an unexpected cocky attitude emerges. Darla eighty sixes the date, of course. Are do-overs possible? Do spirits from the past give Darla that subtle nudge to not give up on him? I'm not giving spoilers, but I will tell you that you can never say never...EVER. I loved the feeling and underlying message this story left me with.

"The Bad Boy Meets His Match" By Kristen Miller was an amazing book!I loved how she brought together two characters that had been estranged from each other for years. It was a sweat and cute story that melted my heart at the end. I can wait to read more of Kristen Miller's books.

"Collide & Burn" By Claudy Conn was a good read. It gives you a little bit of romance sex and suspense. I enjoyed the characters and how she developed them throughout the story.

"Snowflakes Exes & Ohs" by Melanie James As usual another great book by Melanie. It was a great great read filled with laughs and tears! I loved how she brought character together after so many years with a little bit of a surprise in the mixed. this by far is one of my favorite books of hers.

"Fly Me to the Moon" by Mindy Klasky: I enjoyed this book a lot! The thing I liked most about it was that real issues were brought up and talked about. I also loved how the characters had their own battles to deal with but we're able to help each other to start to heal. This book was a great read with lots of reality and fun to it.

"RUCK" by Holly S. Roberts By the name of this book and the first few pages I didn't think I should like this book. I actually loved loved it! My favorite part of this book was that Van didn't realize what he needed and wanted was there all along. I loved how much he had to go through to get what he wanted. This book had me thing real life instead of a fairy tale. I can't wait to read more of Holly 's books.

"Wrapped up in You" by Stephanie Rowe: I enjoyed this book a lot! One of my favorite parts was that it was set off the Coast of Maine.I also enjoyed that she brought together to hurting souls that had a slight past together but didn't know each other well. This book showed real emotions and honesty about life and how rough times can sometimes cloud your vision.Stephanie is another new author to me and I can't wait to read more of her work.

"Play Me" by Kimberly Kincaid was a good read. I enjoyed the differences in the characters. One who is wrapped up in his family to the point that he takes care of the. The other ran far away from her family because of scandals. they find common ground and become close.

"One Last Miracle" by J.D. Tyler was a great little story! I have to admit that I was a skeptic by the way it begins. I loved the main characters they are so different but meant for each other . I also love that there was some suspense in this book. J.D. is a new writer to me but I will be checking out some of her other books!

"When You Open Your Eyes" by Robin Covington brought things close to home for me. I loved how Robin showed the true effects of what going to war have on people. I love how she captures true love in this book as well as acceptance. Robin is a new author to me and I can't wait to read some of her other books.

"Yours For The Holiday" by Kathy Ivan was sweet love story. Right from the beginning you could see the spark between the two characters. It was a quick and pleasant read. I love all of Kathy Ivan's books that I have read and this one was no different.

"Prince Of The Press" Selena Laurence was a great read! the way she hit on topics like breast cancer and drug use was appropriate. She brought us a feel life story with some fantasy to it. This is my first book I have read of Selena's but it won't be the last!

Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot

Noel Calabrese runs her own Public Relations firm and although her professional life is going great her personal life is definitely not. Noel lives with her ex-husband, Dave, who is a hot-shot litigator who cheated on her but due to recently battling cancer needed help from Noel.

Tony Tolbert, Noel's client and former Nascar driver, has asked Noel to come for a meeting but Noel says no until she discovers a secret Dave has been keeping from her. There she meets Leon Hallis, every woman's dream man, but Noel has many insecurities due to the emotional scarring from her relationship with Dave and doesn't believe she has what Leon wants.

I loved this story as I really could relate to the insecurities that Noel faced. So many women doubt themselves yet there are men that can be swept away by the things we hate most about ourselves. This was such a powerful book about believing in yourself!!

I had the privilege of reading Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot. I loved reading Noel and Leon's story. First off I absolutely loved the play on their names. It was something I didn't catch until it was mentioned. I loved this story and as you read it, you want Noel to experience great things. She has been through hell and has become a better woman for it. Leon and Noel make a couple that you completely root for. I loved this story and can't wait to read more of it.

I also had the privilege of reading It's a Marshmallow World by Diane Rinella, I absolutely loved it. I was lucky enough to get an ARC from the author. I loved reading Darla's story. She has a special relationship with her great grandmother. I loved reading about GranGran, and Darla's blossoming relationship with Chris. This was such a good book by Diane Rinella, I can't wit to read more by her.

I read Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot.

Noel has her own Public Relations Firm. She and her cheating ex husband Dave still live together due to Dave needing her help after he was diagnosed with Cancer. A long time client of hers asks her to come out to California to help with a secret project. Noel is undecided until she uncovers a secret that Dave has been keeping from her.
In California, she meets Leon.... a gorgeous, caring perfect man. Feelings of insecurity arise as their relationship progresses. Her ex really did a number on her self esteem along with the weight she has gained over the last year. So does not feel good enough for Leon. Just as she decides to trust, Dave shows up......and Leon walks out. Can Noel finally stand up for herself and extricate herself from Dave's manipulations?
I great story about finding your voice and learning to value yourself!

REVIEW
This is a wonderful box set of romance, happily ever afters and wishes. All are very well written and I enjoyed them very much.
I am going to write my review on a few of the stories. I truly recommend this box set if you love romance at its finest.

The Bad Boy Meets his Match by Kristin Miller
We have Cora who now owns a lingerie store and just recently broke up with her boyfriend. Cora has dreamed many nights about an old love she had when she was younger Alec. Alec now is a multi billionaire who inherited his fathers company and Cora has kept up on all the smut in the papers about him. Cora decides to do a weekend get away with some of her girlfriends and they are going to the lake where Cora met Alec for the first time. But things don't go as planned and Cora is in for a shock. Alec is beyond shocked when he sees who is staying in the cabin next to his. What will become of this couple who never forgot their time together? Fantastic Romance story.

Collide & Burn by Claudy Conn
This was truly a romance. Wade Devon is a ruthless millionaire who basically has never wanted any type of relationship with any woman aside from one or maybe 2 nights. When Wade decides to buy a horse farm while in town a laughter catches his ear, the woman who made the laugh catches his eye and more. Charlie is happy she gets to stay on the farm although sadden that her parents are selling it and moving away. She can't wait to meet the mysterious man who has purchased the farm or can she? Once Charlie's eyes land on Wade all bets are off and keeping her heart in tack well she isn't sure how she will manage. Very sweet romance that was not rushed.

Snowflakes, Exes, and Ohs by Melanie James
Dylan and Abbie were a couple all through high school and had planned to marry. But as life often does things get in the way mainly Dylans need to not be tied down in a small town so he is off to the Navy and when he returns after something tragic happens he finds more than he bargained for. Can Abbie forgive him? Can he forgive himself?
Let me say I have read many books actually all books written thus far by this author and none tore my emotions wide open as this book did. You will go from crying literally to anger, to shock and surprise. Wow talk about a roller coaster ride. I loved it I truly loved it.

Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot
This is a fantastic love story.
We have Noel who is a public relations specialist. She has done very well for herself. Noel had a crap marriage though and finally divorced her husband Dave after 13 years of marriage. But he reeled her back in at least to get her help after being diagnosed with cancer. Do you think that changed him? Nope think again but finally Noel opens her eyes to the horrible man she was once married to. Noel hates the Christmas holidays and it just gets worse for her. She has never really felt that she was sexy or attractive.
Noels dear friend Tony is getting married so Noel is off to California and with some luck have some fun.
Well as they say when your not looking. While in California she attends a meeting with Tony and some others to discuss a new project. Little does she know her life and heart is about to change thanks to one Mr. Leon Hallas the trainer / business partner of Tonys that is if ex-husband Dave don't mess it up.
Again very well written and truly a romantic story. I enjoyed it very much.

Ruck by Holly S. Roberts
Van is jealous of what his brother Joel and his wife Cami has but he has always been the one night stand kind of man. His best friend Danny has always loved him although he never knew it and when he finally figures out what he wants he may not get it. Danny is hurt by how Van has been since she has known him so right now its a game and it's not Rugby. I really enjoyed this story.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review. And I have also preordered it.

I have just finished reading Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot from this box. set.
I really enjoyed Noel and Leon's story. I liked the play on the two's name that I missed until it was mentioned in the story. I found Noel to be a realistic and like-able character who has all the insecurities we all have. Her work life was great with her having her own business, but her home life not so much with her still living with her cheating ex do to his cancer.

She goes to California for meetings and end up meeting Leon who is also successful and the sparks fly. Over all I found this story to be a sweet read and can't wait to read more.

Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot
I really Liked the cast of characters in this story. They developed into true to life people. These are adults, with adult issues and all the good or bad that implies. I like it when I "know" who they are, and I really identified with Noel and her struggles, within herself and in her life... Like, being "curvy," she can't see how beautiful she really is. And coming out of a toxic, 14 year marriage to a cheating husband hasn't helped. Now, being single for about a year she is starting to gain some independence. (and right here I had a mental rant) Dave, her ex-husband, announces he has testicular cancer and begs her to move back in through his chemo treatments and take care of him just until things get better! (what nerve).... So now her ex is also her roommate!.....then, while on a business trip for one of her clients, she meets Leon Hallas. The draw is Instant. It's relentless. It's a freaking hot whirlwind.... with the hottest man she's ever seen, and he wants her! But how is this going to work out... (because of Dave) ....and Dave is keeping a couple secrets of his own. All I will say is, if you look up the meaning of "Cad" in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure his picture will be there.

It's a Marshmallow World by Diane Rinella
This is a lighthearted story about Darla, her friends Jacqueline & Rox, and the place they all like to hang out at called Mulligan's. This is where Darla meets "heaven on legs" Chris. I really enjoyed watching that relationship grow. It was an age of discovery for sure.
----------------------------------------------------------
Collide & Burn by, Claudy Conn
Wade Devon wanted a retreat. A place away from the daily grind. He is out to look at three farms his realtor has to show him when the sound of laughter turned his head. It's then that he saw her face, then he saw the name on the door of her jeep. "Norcross Stables" Charlene (Charlie) Wells folks are selling the farm and moving. Now Charlie is a tenant. She gets the apartment in exchange for pitching in if the employees need a hand, and keep Mr. Devon ( she hasn't even met yet) informed about the renovations being done....Their first meeting is flat out hysterical.... She quite literally almost choked on a fly! Yep, he is that jaw dropping gorgeous! And yep, these two are going to Collide & Burn in a very erotic way!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Snowflakes Exes & Ohs by, Melanie James
Dylan Parker left Cedar Lake, joined the Navy right after graduation 6 years ago. He was done with small town mentality, he wanted to see the world. He did not want to take over Parker's Pub & Grill like his dad expected him to do. Nor did he want to get married at 18. He didn't want hurt Abbie or his dad. He just wanted more. That was 6 years ago. Now he gets a call from his mom who tells him that his dad is not doing well. Prostate cancer. He is losing the battle. Dylan took leave but didn't make it. His dad passed away before he got there.... He headed for the Pub to see his mom. Abbie ( now a police officer) and her partner Jason are also on their way to break up another brawl. When they arrived, a very different looking Dylan was already throwing someone out the door. So starts the remarkable story of Abigail Johnson and Dylan Parker. One of redemption, forgiveness and love not forgotten. ( Merry Christmas Emmie)

I read an ARC copy of Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot in an exchange for a fair review.

Fair...how about fabulous?

Have you ever found out your life wasn't going the way you wanted it to, and decide to change it, only to be dragged right back in? That is what Noel Calabrese's life was like. When her ex's old habits again opens her eyes, she takes an opportunity to get away and do something more with her life.

While trying to decide what do change in her life to make it better, fate drops Leon into her life. He is everything she thought she could never have in her life....or could she?

Jennifer Theriot writes characters a woman of a certain age can relate to on so many levels. I can almost replace Noel with myself in many aspects but especially with her finding solace in her Kindle. I mean come on!!!! I started a blog just on this premise alone!!!! Like Noel, I can lose myself in a romance instead of dwelling on my life/problems. Noel can sit in a plane, or at a bar and turn the people around her into a romance novel in her head. She might not think there is love out there for her, but she does still believe in love. She is a romantic at heart. Just like me.

I particularly liked the drawing of #4 on her list. After that we find out that the gorgeou man she has been drooling over's name is Leon Hallas. I started giggling......Hallas / phallus. Just saying.

Leon is everything I would want in a man. Hot, loving, charitable, smart, romantic and sex personified.

How adorbs is the palindrome phrase..... Leon & Neol. I love how Jennifer Theriot's mind works. It is soooo sweet.

I read this book in only a few hours and I have one critique....it was too Short!!!! I need more!!!!!!!!

I had tears in my eyes and a tug on my heartstrings.

Review of When You Close Your Eyes - by Robin Covington as part of this boxed set.

I was given the opportunity to read this novella before the entire set goes live. I am supposed to give my honest review for this. So here it goes...

I started around 7:15 pm, just after dinner, thinking that I can let my dinner digest and wash dishes after I read. It's a novella after all, won't take too long.

Well, by 7:45, I couldn't see through my tears, had only read about 30% of the book and had to walk away.

I did the dishes, consoled my daughter who was really concerned for my reaction to a book, got a shower and then sat back down, refreshed and ready to face the rest of the story. Not two chapters in, I am sobbing like a baby again. The emotion that was packed into this story is unreal, especially for it's size. You connect with the characters IMMEDIATELY. You understand their hurts and heartache and you KNOW there is more coming. And it's wild and fun and seriously crazy sad all at once.

I can't even explain the storyline as I don't want to give ANYTHING away, but seriously, for $.99 buy the set. It's worth it, just for Gabe and Ellie's story alone. And knowing the rest of the authors that contributed to this HUGE collaboration, you'll get much more than one enjoyable, emotional read!

Kudos Covington, you've proved why writing should be your day job!

Prince of The Press by Selina Laurence
I received a copy of this story to review. This was a beautiful story, about persistence. Marcus has a reputation as a love them and leave them man. Renee has taken upon herself responsibilities, leaving little time or energy for her. A fabulous story, that left me in happy tears.

First, I received a copy of Unwrapping Noel from the author, Jennifer Theriot for an honest review. Here is that review.

I really, really liked this book! The leading Lady, Noel, is not another skinny babe with boob issues but a BBW who has feelings, has societal body issues that hold her back, she is depressed but darn successful, and wants what we all want: Love and happiness.

Noel is divorced but still attached by circumstance to her ex-husband who is a penis guided fool. He didn't know what he had and when he did, his shortcomings cost him more then the size of his ego.

I can only tell you at this point, Noel goes to the aid of a friend who helped her start her business. While helping her friend, Noel's
life sees a little ray of hope.

I, as a grumpy old guy, recommend with high praise, you really need to read this story. It made me sad, it made me smile, and raised hope.

I read Selena Laurence story The Prince of the Press and loved it. Love her books and can't wait to read more of this book.
This is the story of Renee who is a Secretary and working for Derek. He runs a political firm and he knows of her troubles. She just recently put a halt on college to help take care of her mom and younger brother. Her mother has cancer and is not able to work and provide for them. Renee is a good daughter and is helping take care of the family.
Marcus is Derek's younger brother and true ladies man. As soon as Marcus sees Renee he wants her. She denies him because she needs the job. She tells him she can't jeopardize her job. Also Derek warns her about him and to stay away. But soon Marcus realizes that he wants more than once with Renee, he wants to date her. She is too nervous and afraid to lose her job.
This was such a great story. Love Selena's books. Loved the characters. Would love to see Derek find someone. Would love to see Alex and Elise hookup. Maybe the brother David get a story.

Review Copy from the Author

Prince of the Press by Selena Laurence is a standalone novella published in the anthology Mischief under the mistletoe: Holidays hotties just waiting to be unwrapped (yes it’s quite an agenda LOL). I clearly hadn’t the time to read each story (a total of 19 different authors), but I wished to read at least the one by Selena as I know her and I love her style.

She didn’t disappoint me on this point once again, with still a very good flowing and lively style. What’s more, she writes at the third person this time (and not at the first as I’m used with her) and it was as good as usual.

Marcus Ambrose, the hero, has just finished his studies and is about to begin his career as journalist on TV. He’s a bit immature, still living off his eldest brother, but I found him nice and I liked him a lot.
Renee Erikson, our heroine, had to stop her studies because of big familial problems, and she found a job at Marcus’ brother.
That’s where they meet. The attraction is immediate and we feel it. We understand Renee’s reluctances, we also admire Marcus’ determination. We also want to shake him for a moment, because he might want to seduce the heroine, and the reader may understand how much he has a crush on her, he takes time really accepting his feelings. This put our heroine in a very difficult position concerning her own feelings, her family and her boss. Let’s say he’s the one who must evolve the most, and it’s a success on this point. Indeed, his declaration in the end is really moving. You’ll certainly have a little tear and blissful smile when they have their HEA.

Concerning the secondary characters, we have Renee’s family, made of her mother and her brother. I wanted to shake her brother, but I won’t say more. On Marcus’ side, we have Derek, his brother, who has trouble accepting Marcus is now a grown-up able to make his own decisions, and to stick to them. I grinded my teeth a little at some times, because Derek seemed really too patronizing sometimes. I really liked that he apologizes, it was very moving.

It’s the first novella I’ve read by this author, which is a different exercise from a full length novel. And I must say she managed very well. I didn’t feel any frustration because of a potential lack of elements in the story And when we finish the story, we don’t have any doubt about the future of our heroes.

To conclude, if you want a good moment with a classic contemporary romance, Prince of the Press is for you. Of course, I don’t know about the other stories, but the box set costs only 0,99 Euros, which is quite cheap. Don’t hesitate to buy it if you’re so inclined.

Great collection of Christmas romances. I just reviewed a few but they were all good and plenty of touching moments to get your in the Christmas spirit.

Wrapped Up In You - Stephanie Rowe - Two people that life had turned cynical end up on the ferry to Mystic Island in Maine for two totally different reasons. Cole grew up on the island and loved the Inn his family ran. Christmas was the most special time on the island and he loved them all with his father. But after his father died Cole's Christmas spirit died along with him and when he was of age he left and never looked back. Willow grew up in a famous family who never celebrated any holidays. She too feels dead inside and has heard about Mystic Island and how special it is at Christmas time and wants to experience all the wonders that she's heard Christmas brings. These two lost souls end up breathing life back into the other. This was a very touching love story that also had these two having to face their pasts and put them to rest and finally allow joy and happiness back into their lives.

One Last Miracle - J.D.Tyler – This is the 2nd novella we've gotten in the Armed and Deadly series and I sure wish the full length one would finally be released. These stories all have to do with men who are in the FBI. The stories dont seem to be connect but each one has been good so far. In this one Mark McClendon and the FBI are about to take down a human trafficker when things go wrong and he get shot. His recovery has been a long one and he decides he is going to go to his grandfather's cabin in Colorado to decide if he wants to continue to be an FBI Agent. We'll he has one more round of back luck when the weather causes him to crash over the side of a mountain. Luckily for him it was near Abby Langfords cabin and she rescued him. Abby and the small town show Mark what the true meaning of Christmas is and make him realize that maybe its time to leave the FBI and start living a small paced life away from danger.

Close To The Mistletoe - Suzanne Ferrell – I think I need to become a school teach in Westen – they sure snag all the hotties. Holly Murphy goes out with her newly divorced friend one night and ends up snagging the attention of Nick Fisher who has moved to town to help his widowed brother raise his daughter. Unknowing to either of them she also picks up a stalker that night. Love the town of Westen and getting to revisit all the past characters.

I think this is Jennifer Theriot's best book so far. It is a view of real life. Noel has been divorced from her cheating husband for a year. She delayed moving on with her life for a year to care for her ex while he is treated for cancer, only to find out he is still cheating and lying to her.

Noel owns her own company and is asked to come to California for a special project by her best client. She meets Leon on her arrival in California, neither know they are there for the same meetings.

Noel and Leon are attracted to one another from the beginning. They both experience difficulties from past relationships. Both looking for a second chance at love.

I am really looking forward to reading more about Noel and Leon.

It's a Marshmallow World
This is such a lighthearted, fun book. The main character is girl named Darla, who has peacock colored hair. Darla's Gram Gram has always told her to always be true to herself. Darla's group girlfriends are are also kind of quirky.

Darla and her friends go to a local bar every Friday night. on one of the Friday nights Chris comes in with his friend and Darla catches his eye. Chris makes his way to the table,, introduces himself and asked Darla for a date.

The first date is a disaster, Chris is a totally different, controlling person. Darla walks out on him. Does Darla give Chris another chance when he shows up again on another Friday night? This is such a feel good story. Hope to read more about Darla, her quirky friends, and Chris.

Wow, this collection of 19 stories has something for everyone. From sweet to spicy and everything in between. I didn’t read one where I didn’t smile and a few had me purring too. Some of them were longer than the others but each one had something to add. Besides, they were perfect for reading in between household chores. Now I can mention the price! I can’t believe you get so much for so little. I had planned to write a little something about each story but the review would be the length of one of the stories so I will let you read the synopsis and anticipate like I did. I enjoyed this anthology and can only imagine the fun the authors had writing it.

My review is for When You Close Your Eyes by Robin Covington. Gabe and Ellie were high school sweethearts with big plans for the future. They both joined the armed forces and went their separate ways with the understanding that they would get married and live their happily ever after once they both fulfilled their duty to their country. Of course, their time in the service didn't go quite as planned. They are both dealing with injuries suffered in Iraq, although Ellie's is a little more severe with PTSD. She is home for one last visit before moving across the country for a fresh start. Gabe decides to try and convince her they are worth fighting for. This was a great read and I would recommend it to anyone.

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is a mixed bag of contemporary romances around Christmastime. As always in an anthology I liked some better than others. One is set in a Long Island stables, just right for me, and others are in small towns, secluded cabins or city offices.

Some authors let us look into a location of an existing series and others give us standalones. This is a good way to get to try new authors and decide if you might enjoy their books. And the Christmas theme is in some tales more emphasised than others.

Expect strong language and bedroom scenes in this set of nineteen romance tales for adults.

What a wonderful selection of stories that comes in this anthology. I used to not be a fan of such things because I wanted a whole novel length story but this one shows me the benefits of anthologies. While stopping for lunch, taking a break from cleaning or getting ready for the holidays, Mischief under the Mistletoe gives the reader a hopeful, romantic and hot break from reality without monopolizing your time when you should be doing other things. Each story brings a sense of redemption, hope and the Christmas spirit that is so often lost in the midst of chaos.
I have read it’s a Marshmallow World where acceptance and the gifts from beyond fuel this sweet love story. Unwrapping Noel by Jennifer Theriot where we meet a woman who has been crushed and allowed love to rebuild her heart and soul. Fly Me to the Moon by Mindy Klasky was a personal favorite of mine, showing the human weakness and the strength in the scars that are left behind. Robin Covington nearly broke me with When You Open Your Eyes with her story of two people who come together stitched by trust and love.
If you are looking for more sexy passion don’t worry, you will find Play Me by Kimberly Kincaid who gives you the bad boy stripper with something to prove and Worth the Shot by Jennie Marts where sexy hockey players aims to make more than just goals.
I still have some to read but I am pleasantly pleased with this anthology and the mental vacations they provide during a crazy time of year. I have yet to finish a story and not walked away feeling refreshed and happy, thinking about the characters long after I am done and in some cases wondering how I could beg the author to make the short story into a novel to give me more of the characters I had just fallen in love with.
I highly recommend this purchase, at the quality of writing you will get for this price you really can’t go wrong and you might even find some new authors that you hadn’t heard of before. I know I have added a few new books from some of these ladies to my TBR list.

This is a phenomenal collection of holiday stories. So far I've read about half of them and each one has been great. My favorite is Snowflakes, Exes and Ohs - it's a contemporary romance that takes place over Christmas. It drew me right in and kept me engaged and turning pages as quickly as possible.

A number of the stories have characters that are military and I loved how the authors were able to make them feel real while also focusing attention on some of the problems our military folks face when they get home. While some of their struggles are challenging, the books in this collection have a HEA.

If you are looking for a wonderful collection, you have found it in this book. There are 19 books in this collection and many of them are longer length novellas. That's about a nickle a book - phenomenal bargain by wonderful authors. You will be sorry if you miss this one because I'm guessing that when the anthology is gone, each author will likely price their books for more than the anthology price.

I received an ARC of Fly Me to the Moon by Mindy Klasky, one of the stories in this anthology. The story is about Lexi Taylor, who runs a small store, The Christmas Cat, in the small tourist town of Harmony Springs. Into her store walks Tom Finnegan, a former soldier in town to meet with the parents of a deceased comrade-in-arms. When he accidentally causes damage to her store's inventory that costs more than he can pay, Lexi arranges for him to work off the debt by helping with some repairs and renovations to the store. But what will this arrangement mean to both of them? The story is about learning to live: for Lexi, she has to learn how to enjoy life to its fullest despite a tragedy in her past life and for Finn, he has to learn how to actually live life again after recent events. Can they heal each other or will this encounter drive them further inside themselves! I enjoyed this story, just note this is not a cozy romance and does contain sex scenes. Disclosure: I received this story in exchange for an honest review.
