Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...:)

Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed! :)
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Looks amazing, congrats! Also 3.0.101 kernel is a huuuge achievement :)

I just wanted to ask if there's gonna be a "Black MoKee" option to black it all out? :D

It's the same, but apparently this guy here made a thread with the wrong name...it should be MoKee OpenSource, not Mokee OS ...no wonder I can't find it...I check for existing ones before posting...well this thread will be the official one then...he didn't create/involve in it so can't post in original development...but I can...;)...you know why...

Lol, mate, thats the screenies from my i9100g...I don't think for this device you have the 3.0.101 kernel...?...bout black, nope, not for now...

This is the same ROM, just now it is on Original Developement Section. Now I am the owner of that thread, so think that this is the old one where you were downloading builds :p

Very nice ROM!

Have one problem though...

I checked for OTA Update now. It found something, 2014251033-201401261006-nightly. It downloaded it, and when i clicked to install my phone said it would reboot and do the update. If not I would have to manually do it. Ok, said and done - rebooted tried to update but an error came up. Same thing happens if i manually install the update.

Kernel:3.0.64 mokee g5d4643c mokee @buildbot #1 Sat jan 25
Rom: yesterday's version
recovery: cwm based recovery v 6 .0 47

Error: /system/priv-app/calendarprovider.apk has unexpected contents
E:Error in /storage/sdcard0/mkupdater/ota-mk44.2 - n7000 ....... nightly.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted

Can you tell me what the problem is?

What if I say no? Lol, just kidding...;)

It could be caused by two reasons:
a) Gapps (/system/app/Provision.apk, /system/app/CalendarProvider.apk etc has unexpected contents.)
b) system files are modified (this includes flashing a custom kernel which replaces system files)

To solve:
1. Format /system (or else old gapps will be restored)
2. Flash full ROM
3. Flash OTA
4. Flash gapps from MoKee Centre

Future updates will be working...unless you are still using a custom kernel, where you must flash back the full ROM or restore the specific files if you know how...

It's probably gapps, i got them from a separate thread. Thank you for your advice, i will try this tomorrow

Since we're updating frequently, making manual changelogs ain't possible anymore...:p

And also take note that although I am involved in the development of this ROM, but I do not own the device, so I might not be able to answer your device specific questions...:(
