Jackson Martinez posts gruesome video of bloodied bandages after ankle surgery
JACKSON MARTINEZ has shown fans the effects of his latest round of surgery on his troublesome ankle.
The Colombian, 30, underwent his second bout of surgery last week after a nightmare spell with his left leg, which has given him recurring problems.
Martinez moved from Porto to Atletico Madrid in 2015 after netting 67 goals in 90 games for the Portuguese club.
But he played just 15 times for Atelti and netted twice before being sold to Guangzhou Evergrande last season for £37.5million.
And despite netting four times in 10 games in the Chinese Super League, he has had more injury problems.
After spending several days in hospital recovering from his surgery, the hitman posted gruesome footage of his limb as the dressings were removed after going under the knife.
After the bandages came off he showed the results of his surgery, with two incision wounds either side of his ankle that appear to be healing.
Martinez first picked up the knock in an international match between Colombia and Chile two years ago and was determined to get rid of the nagging pain that has been dogging his career since.
