He declined to take any further questions on the issue from the media.
Yeddyurappa was not inducted into the national Cabinet despite his seniority and mass following in Karnataka as there are some cases under he Prevention of Corruption Act against him in the state. He has, however, consistently tried to be seen on the right side of Modi and Shah and kept away from commenting on any national issue.

The party will discuss the issue in our internal fora and react to this.“
