Nominations for the honors celebrating the best of the Broadway season were unveiled Tuesday morning live from the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel in New York, and Hamilton was the story. The breakout musical set a record with 16 total nominations, including Best Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (for both Lin-Manuel Miranda and Leslie Odom, Jr.), Best Actress in a Musical (for Phillipa Soo), and many more. The awards themselves will be handed out on June 12 at the Beacon Theatre, at a ceremony hosted by The Late Late Show‘s James Corden (a Tony winner himself, for One Man, Two Guvnors in 2012).
